It's a great place to learn Hungarian history. We met a black cat, which has its own home next to the wizard's home. All of us got fun here, for my daughter, enjoys the játékváros very much and has funny photos with her toy owl.

A beautiful castle, one of the perfect examples of how a castle can be fully used even so many years after its construction. I enjoyed every segment, visual impression, cultural and educational value. Special praise to the exhibition room of the Croatian minority 🇭🇷❤🇭🇷, which shows the rich past of the Croatian people in this area of Hungary I hereby praise and thank the organizers for the realization of the "Croatian Room" project in Šikloš Castle 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, and a warm recommendation to visit all parts of the castle 👍🏻

Nice castle with a good piece of Hungarian medival history. The castle is well preserved and maintained. The exhibit in the different rooms is good and very informative, in some rooms you can even try on historical soldiers armor and uniforms (excellent for children). The paintings and wine exhibits are interesting and keep the castle "alive" with people. Recommend a visit.

This medieval castle is maintened well and quite complete (compared to other Hungarian castles). There are not many tourists, so if you don't like the crowded "popular" places, it's a good choice. The castle contains a lovely chapel, a small dungeon, a contemporary exhibition a coffee shop, a small castle garden with herbs.

The cafeteria with the view is nice but the whole castle is not very entertaining or well planned.

Well maintained but, unfortunately, not too much to see.

A cool castle in Southern Hungary, near the Croatian border. The signs and placards were in English, German, and Hungarian. Overall, the place was fairly well kept up, though some places were under renovation, and it was a pity not to see the rose garden. Other than that, with a variety of gift shops, coffee shops, and a mini-wine museum and shop, it's a great place to spend a few hours.

One of the most beautiful castles in Hungary or in Europe. Among other sights, there are a prison museum , first and second world war exhibition. Definitely a must visit place at least once in a lifetime.

Very fun to visit, Mostly wheelchair friendly, beautiful Panorama views on the castle defense walls. Kids have a really beautiful FUN place to play at the castle's very own Kids Castle! Also visit the rose garden! The tour offers some limited german and English translations, As long as you go in with not too high expectations as such. Definitely worth a visit solely for its beauty.

Nice castle from middle age known for battle against Osman empire. There where achieved great victory when Osman empire was pushed back from Europe in big battle. Caste was restored in 90's with the help of EU.
