Amazing place!!! Highly recommended. Knowledgeable people and high quality customer service. Robert helped me with my wine, taking care of my preference and telling me about the hungarian wine (reason I came - to know more and try some). +Pic of my fav! Visit!

Someone told me I had to go wine tasting whilst in Hungary so after some research I came upon the Tasting Table and decided to come here. Walked in around 2:40 and was unaware that we needed to make a reservation( pro tip make a reservation before you come). Thankfully though, Támas was extremely accommodating and was able to fit us in. Experience was absolutely fantastic, great way to meet new people and enjoy some fine wines. Your guide will walk you through everything you need to know about each wine and the history of the region and the wineries themselves and it was very fascinating. This was the first time I’ve ever drunken wine before and what a way to begin my experience with wine, after my first time I already have a decent knowledge and very good appreciation for wines, especially those from Hungary. The whole experience takes about 2 hours or so, and once it’s complete you can buy some of the wines you liked and you get a 10% discount by taking the “tour”. Wonderful experience and a must when in Budapest.

I was really please going there when visiting Budapest. I only had the opportunity to get into the shop but I stayed like 1h30, discuss so much with the skilled vendor and I ordered some wine that were shipped after. Though a minor issue happened with the shipping that was not related to them, they did everything so that I got the wines. Just perfect. P.s: I did not mention it, but their wined are really good

Do it. Just do it. Fab experience, learn about Hungarian wine, drink Hungarian wine, then after a glass or two you will soon be chatting away to the other people on the experience. Our sommelier, Sezabi, was great, informative and kept the atmosphere jovial

(Translated by Google) Top Recommended. Small wine shop. You can do different wine tastings. From 3 glasses upwards. With dry wine you get 100ml per glass with sweets 50 times. You can also order a cheese platter or a mixed platter. For us, the mixed plate was very good. You also get information about the wines. We went there without booking a wine tour. Also offer different tours, when it is full it is also very loud. But that's mostly in a localization. Send wine too. It's a shame that we were only there on our last evening. Very nice people. (Original) Top Empfehlenswert. Kleiner Weinladen. Sehr nette Leute.

Our sommelier was Nicki and she gave us a great education on Hungarian wine. Especially for this novice. I really enjoyed the event with interesting fellow travelers from around the world.

This one was of the most fun evenings I had on a trip. Bring together people from all over the world, good local wines and some finger food and you can't go wrong. I really enjoyed this one!

Not to be missed. This beautiful space is paired with beautiful wines. As a traveler, I found Hungarian wines to be underrated as well as interesting abroad. Pop in, sample the local cheeses, enjoy the flights and get yourself educated on an incredibly interesting evening. I came here by way of a great food tour: Taste Hungary. This was on my list, and was thrilled via the food tour that we had the room nearly to ourselves and both bites and wines to sample.

We spent an absolutely incredible afternoon here in Budapest. Lila was amazing and recommended many delicious Hungarian wines for us to try. Food was fabulous. We actually left with a new wine suitcase full of wine because it was so delicious and well priced! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

A M A Z I N G. This is exactly what I hoped it would be and more. We showed up a Saturday afternoon and we're seated in a private "wine cave". Around 3pm a group tasting started, which you probably can organize though their website. All locally sourced foods and wines. Great hosts. Very informative. Now I want to do a trip through the Hungarian wine regions!

Superb wine tasting of Hungarian wines. An excellent combination of a tasting with an explanation about Hungarian wines. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience with delicious wines and cheese with sausage plate. Will definitely be back the next time we're in Budapest!

I was really enjoyed to visiting this wine shop. The guy who taught us about Hungary wine was really nice and kind. We've learned a lot of things from him :) Finally, we found nice and good Hungary wine as gifts for my friends and us. I recommend to visit there!

We had a great time doing one of the tasting sessions! The sommelier was funny and knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his craft. The wines were all delicious, we were particular fans of the first white we tasted and the second red. The cheeses were very tasty too, we even bought some to take home. It was a random coincidence that the other 5 people on the session all had something in common with us so we bonded well and ended up going to bars and karaoke late into the night! Great fun had by all and definitely recommend this tasting session as a fun activity to do whilst in Budapest.

We did the winetasting with charcuterie and it was amazing. We tried five different wines. The cheese and meet was so good that we even had to buy some and bring it back with us. Gabor was a great host. The location ist super nice and cozy. Would totally recommend it and do it again if I'll ever come back to Budapest. Go and support this local store! You can go alone, as a couple or a group of friends. Thank you for this experience!

Visited the shop to buy a couple of wine bottles after an amazing wine tasting at their wine cellar just across the street. Prices are more than fair and the staff also very helpful. You can also taste a couple of wines from their list while there.

If you make a wine tasting, you need to make a reservation before. It is until 6 pm. However, you can walk in for a wine flight until 8 pm. Good selection of wines and really helpful staff.

The shop is a lovely little space with great wines and nice charcuterie. We did the evening walking tour which was nice. Budapest is a city of opulent disrepair and the tour captures the food scene accurately.

This was the end of a walking and tasting tour for us, which we highly recommend. A great way to learn about the local food and drinks with a bit of history.

Great place for Hungarian wine tasting and fair price. Book a tasting online as it offers food and interesting facts about the wines and regions. They do this accept walk-ins (only for purchases in the shop). It goes well beyond the common wines and promises a great culinary experience. A must visit, which you do this want to miss out on

  • 5/5 Vikram P. 2 months ago on Google New
Great allocation of Hungarian wines from small, artisanal producers. Can't speak to their tastings or dinners, but this is a go to shop for buying bottles to take away/ for delivery.

  • 5/5 Ben T. 4 years ago on Google
Truly incredible. One of the best wine experiences of my life. As four tourists from Australia...we didn’t know a lot about Hungarian wine. Now we do. We know it’s diverse and delicious. We were hosted by Sebastian who has a formidable knowledge of wine (from all round the world). We got a charcuterie board which was awesome! Thank you SO much for our best experience in Budapest.

Just a wonderful experience, absolutely loved it. You get to try some delicious Hungarian products (wines of course, but also cheeses, meat, salami and other little delicacies) in a nice setting with great people. The team is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) Excellent experience! I had the chance to participate in a dinner at the Tasting Table. There were ten participants. The wines, like the food, were very good. The chef and his team cook before our eyes. The winemaker present did not speak English but a member of the Tasting Table team translated all his words into impeccable English and always with a smile and a touch of humor. In short, a top team, excellent wines and food, an unforgettable evening! (Original) Excellente expérience ! J'ai eu la chance de participer à un dîner à la Tasting Table. En bref, une équipe au top, des vins et des mets excellents, une soirée inoubliable !

I recommend the tasting table 100% The experience we had was beyond amazing we learned about the culture, history, and every single detail of Hungary and Budapest. The hospitality is top one. Many countries and people around the world should learn from them because they’re simply amazing, the way the host is extremely nice and we felt at home. We tried six wine from different regions in Hungary. The place was so cozy and cute. Along with the tasting they also had some food, like homemade bread, cheeses, and more. Everything was exquisite. We were a group of about 14 people and they made us feel so comfortable to each other. Here they also sell some things like oils, wine, paprika, and more. We left with pictures of wonderful moments, a very happy tummy, and smiles that will last forever. I can’t wait to go back and try more of that experience all over again.
