The food was excellent. The live piano music was a bit melancholy mood... The service is also excellent. The environment is great!

An outdated place with a haughty owner. He comes up to your table, tells you that he is the owner and expects you to be amazed instantly. Unfortunately the food wasn’t amazing, in fact, no one was really satisfied at our table. There is only one vegetarian option and that’s a starter... Not the quality I expected.

Awesome hospitality and amazing food, I can only recommend. And try the creme brulee. It's the best I had in Budapest.

We were the only ones in the restaurant, but the service was not as fast as expected. Carpaccio that we ordered was partly frozen. Vegetarian options are extremely limited so don't go here if you want to avoid meat. The one main course I saw was stuffed paprika with potatoes and half of the dish was ketchup. The courses are quite basic, and the prices are very high for what you're getting. We spent 50 euros per person. Staff was nice and atmosphere pleasant

Nice restaurant with new hungarian style cuisine - hungarian tradition reinterpreted, baby vegetables on fine sauce, lean meat, and a touch of Mediterranean flair. Worth trying!

A delightful and intimate dining experience. I booked this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday during a weekend trip to Budapest. I wanted something authentic with a hungarian menu and romantic atmosphere. I couldn't have been more pleased! The service was impeccable, the food and wine delicious and the pianist played beautifully. Would highly recommend. Tip: remember to check the dress code when booking any restaurant (which I failed to do) and hadn't warned my boyfriend it was a dinner jacket occasion..woops.

Amazing place with brilliant food service and super delicious menu. Elegant and historical atmosphere. It's advisable to watch out for the special events like Valentines day, special menu week and so on! Can't wait to go back!

Uudenvuoden menussa alkupalat oli parhaita, pääruoka oli keskinkertainen, mikä oli todella yllättävää. Palvelu oli aluksi oikein hyvää ja sujuvaa, mutta heikkeni illan aikana. DJ soitti musiikkia liian kovalla, mutta ihmisillä tuntui olevan hauskaa. Tämä paikka toimii hyvin uuden vuoden juhlissa, kunhan muutama asia korjataan kuntoon.

Went here for New Years Eve! The owner was so lovely and accommodating and it’s clear he takes pride in customers enjoying themselves. The service was amazing, everyone was so professional and warm, very attentive with smiles all around even though they had to work on New Year’s Eve. The special NYE set menu was 100% worth it, with a live band and a well paced evening. Food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour all around and nicely presented. The restaurant itself is beautiful, extremely tasteful with a formal but also homely feel. A quiet venue tucked away out of the touristy city centre, absolutely perfect for any celebrations!
