Nice workers. The hostess girl was as if we had known each other for a thousand years. We tried the Escobaros escape room. They were fun, interesting puzzles. I can only recommend.

I have played 3 rooms here. At the beginning there was already a misunderstanding because of the language barrier but we solved that out. When we arrived the game master didn't know we booked 3 rooms in a row and didn't tell us we are supposed to stay in the room after finishing the game because there is a video at the end. Unlike in other companies game masters don't introduce themselves. They play videos of introduction and stories so there is no interaction with the players and you have to ask for picture at the end to be taken. When we asked for a discount on the amount they said we can't get it on the weekend and it was Thursday. After we played 3 rooms they gave us promo code but we couldn't use it for Friday as well because Friday counts as weekend too. The ghost castle was easy room for which we didn't need any hints but if you haven't played some rooms before I can imagine why it might be difficult. The Metro is the one that wasn't logical for us but the problem were hints that weren't helpful because they were telling us what we already know (maybe the reason was language barrier again) and they didn't explain one puzzle we didn't understand the logic behind it. It was somehow disappointing overall. When we booked metro we were expecting something like the E-exit secret subway has which is mind-blowing and challenging but also logical. The Pirate ship is the only one I would recommend even though it was very easy it was really nicely decorated and the puzzles were fun. Another thing I didn't like is that I suppose game masters are keeping track of multiple games so they aren't aware of thing you did and in which way you did it because when I asked a question after we escaped about the puzzle I wasn't sure we solved the way it was supposed to be solved the reply was how did you solve the puzzle if you are asking that. All in all the biggest reason of 2 stars is because I didn't like their approach. You get a feeling they want to get rid of you as fast as they can (even though we came out of all rooms earlier) because they need to keep track of other games at the same time so that they can earn more money.

We've played several games here and a few at Locked Room. The quality of these games is top notch! I would recommend any of them, just for the experience alone. There's lots of different puzzles, so the games were great for experienced players too. We liked Aroom's games more, our definite favourite was House of Escobar. All the game masters we met were really kind and helpful, I would've added all their names but we only got one. But thanks especially to Amy for hosting us (again)!

The staff was very nice! We loved the scenery, the tasks were logical and interesting. The four of us (according to our game master -Lili-) got out super fast! Thanks! (METRO room)

I've done escape rooms in India, Denmark, Czech Republic and by far, the escape rooms at ARoom are the biggest and most elaborate. The rooms are extremely well put together with no design element that is random. The rooms have different themes and the game progresses slightly differently based on the themes too from fully linear to some parallel puzzle solving. We did 3 rooms in our 4 day stay in Budapest and would fully recommend them. My personal favourite was the Pirate room cause they've converted an entire flat into the escape room. Extremely elaborate and a must try. Easy for beginners too. Special kudos to our game master and host Lily. She was the sweetest host and her recommendations were spot on. Also thank you for not making us feel dumb when we asked for clues 😂

We are a couple with some escape rooms experience. We went back to Locked room and Aroom to do Ghosts Castle after doing Metro, House of Escobar, Serial Killer, Motel, Seven Hill, and Research Base. All of them were really amazing with the concept and puzzles. The decoration of the rooms was awesome and we liked the story line. Puzzles were really great and challenging. The game masters were very kind and professional:) We had some issues with the last room, Ghosts castle, which was totally an amazing room. However Daniel, the owner of the place cares a lot about his customer experience, and has solved the issue quickly. I highly recommend that great service with caring about the customer experience. Highly recommended, you will enjoy everything.

We came back today after we played House of Escobar last year. We really liked House of Escobar and the game master was very friendly and fun. This time we played Deadland. We were 2 persons who played many rooms and 2 persons who never played before. We did not get any instructions but were just put in the room. The room was really nice and the puzzles were good, but maybe a bit on the easy side. We escaped in 37 minutes. A girl came to pick us up, she didn't say anything, walked back to the waiting room with us and disappeared. She did not talk about the room with us, did not offer to take a picture, did not offer a discount code, did not ask if we needed anything else; she simply disappeared behind the curtain and left us. We hung around for another 10 minutes to drink some water and in this time she picked up another group, talked with them about the room they just played and offered them a discount for another room (all things she didn't do for us). Having played more than 10 rooms in Budapest, we can say that Aroom definitely offers very nice rooms. However; the staff makes or breaks the experience and this time they totally failed. We might give them another try because the rooms are nice, but we will first go somewhere else hoping to get better game masters.

For us, this was our Budapest highlight in every respect. We played 2 rooms there. Deadland on the first day. Such a great space. the design was great, the puzzles as well as the overall flow of the game. We've never had as much fun as we did in this game. Our two game masters Amy and Wolfy, who we immediately took to our hearts, also fit in well. Thank you, you made the room and our stay with you a real experience! The next day we played at AROOM again, this time Pirate Ship. And it was just brilliant again! The design of the room is just amazing! The puzzles were a little easier than in Deadland, but again the gameplay was so great. Our gamemaster Viki also took time to answer our questions. When we are back in Budapest we will definitely come back. For us these were the best rooms we played in 4 days of Budapest (and we played 8 rooms in total!). Thanks for everything and keep it up! And Wolfy, have fun skiing in Austria 😊

The people working there were very nice. The room we chose was the pirate room, we went with a 7-year-old child, he also enjoyed it. We were 4 adults, with teamwork we managed to get out in under 50p. We really enjoyed the game! At the end, we also received a recommendation as to which one is still worth trying

Best in Budapest :) we have done 24 rooms in Budapest and Aroom and LockedRoom are the best over all no doubt. Best room decor, fun games, great price and value for money. Personal favorites must be Pablo Escobar and the pirate ship. But they are all worth while. If you want a drink cocktail while playing Neverland is the next best option in my opinion :)

Great experience and lovely staff! Just the right level of difficulty and enough to do to keep a team of 4 engaged for the whole duration of the experience! Deffo one of the best escape rooms in Budapest.

We did the metro game. Stuff was super friendly and very helpful. Before the games u get free water and can play video games until ur game starts. I really liked the room, with a lot of details and old original stuff. We definitely will come back and try another room

The room was fun and it had great design (Metro). There were two of us and we solved the room 7 minutes before the time run out with few hints. It is a good room for two people. But when we came to escape room, first we had to pay and just leave our stuff and went with game master to the room. We didn’t get much instruction, so we were a bit confused. When we pressed a button for a hint, it took some time before we got it or we got a hint for something we already solved. After the game she asked how it was, and we went to the reception room, game master asked if we wanted to play another game and then went to control room to watch other players. They didn’t take the photo of us, that bummed us out a little. We thought that they don’t take a picture od players after the game, but I saw here that some players have their pictures. Overall, the room was great, but would like a bit more friendlier approach.

We played just one game here - Pirate Ship, but we’ll be back for the others for sure. The game is easy, but really nice crafted. The set is using the space in a very clever way and felt like a real ship.
The game would be a good option for families with kids or for a birthday party. Our game master Wolfy did a great job greeting us and walking us through the story.

A great find! We needed an activity for a girls night out and Aroom was a fun escape room experience. The complementary coffee and tea was a nice touch before we started our challenge. We chose the metro themed room and it was a fun and unique Budapest themed challenge. Szonja was also super helpful!

The best escape room ever! It's very logical, the clues are connected to each other to help you solve the puzzle. The design is absolutely spectacular. And also the staff is awesome. I have been in many rooms by the Locked room and I've already met a few operators. I can definitely recommend this escape room to anyone!

Everything worked fine. Certainly one of the best providers in Budapest. We had a lot of fun in Deadland. I don't want to spoil much, but the game is based on movement. The game master was very nice and intervened at the right moments. Every time again!!!

My experience at Aroom Budapest's escape room was nothing short of thrilling and unforgettable! If you're looking for an exciting and immersive adventure in Budapest, this is the place to be. From the moment we walked into Aroom Budapest, we were greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism by the staff. They took the time to explain the rules and set the stage for our escape room adventure, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. The escape room itself was incredibly well-designed. The attention to detail in the puzzles, props, and storyline was remarkable. It was clear that the creators put a lot of thought into crafting a challenging and engaging experience. The room we chose had a unique theme that added an extra layer of excitement and intrigue to the game. Definitely worth the visit if youre in Budapest.

Great staff, and super quality rooms. Might be a bit for the grade, and the finale was somewhat anti-climatic. Nevertheless we had a good time!

Absolutely incredible experience at Aroom, I can't rate it highly enough. We completed Ghost's Castle (8/10 difficulty) and returned to play House of Escobar (9/10 difficulty, although we actually found it easier). Staff were exceptional, and really helpful in English too. The rooms were extremely well designed with multi-room layouts, a range of puzzles, access to hints, and amazing visuals - all at a reasonable price. Free drinks and secure baggage storage were available as well as toilets and games to play whilst waiting. Go here if you can!

We went on an escape room trip to Budapest, we have a lot of experience (I've played 300 escape rooms, and my partner played 550) - and we loved the rooms! We've played Ghost Castle, sky heist, Escobar and Dead Land. Our favourite was Sky Heist, but the other rooms were great as well! 🩷 To add to the great experience in those rooms, Kyra was our game master in most of the rooms, and she was so nice and welcoming, and even made me an amazing greeting card when she found out it's my 300th room! This was probably the cutest gesture I've experienced from a game master! Thank you so muchhh ❤️❤️❤️ Really recommend this company, it was so fun there ☺️❤️

Great game masters. Nice system for keeping your belongings safe while you play. There are restrooms also. Games themselves are amazing( only played 2 so far ) definitely coming back to play another games.

Absolutely great. We did four escape rooms in three days with these guys and they were all great. Good level of challenge, and helpful hints when needed, and some very well designed rooms.

We tried 2 different Escape Rooms. Ghost Castle and Metro. We really enjoyed our experience and our host Bia was very friendly and nice. We really recommend Aroom. We tried several Escape Room across UK and Europe and this one is one of the best. The experience is immersive and very enjoyable. Thank you very much!

We did 3 escape rooms in 2 days. Originally only booked one, we liked it so much that we did 2 more in the end. Vili was an awesome game master. 100% recommended.

The best escape room ever , all the experience is amazing, the scenery, the decorations and off course the people is spectacular for sure I will come back

What a thrill! We went for the Escobar room and the immersion is great. They managed to incorporate lot of sensors into old items so that you could never imagine things will happen when you do it. The challenges for this room difficulty 9 really made us think and brainstorm a lot which is the whole point of such rooms. The people there are nice, waiting room is flawless, the escape room was the best I have ever tried. Will come back to try others.

The pirate ship is the best escape room I’ve done (15+ to date!) Highly recommended as staff were excellent and the detail in the rooms was fantastic

Great Escape Room. We played Metro and Serial Killer as part of the 2-for-1 deal. I wasn’t sure what to expect of Metro based on the pictures used online to advertise for the room, but at the end it’s a greatly done room with night games (mix of traditional locks and electronic games).

We're from the UK, and back home we do a lot of escape rooms. We've found rooms in Europe are generally much better, but at Aroom they've taken it up a new level. We done the Metro, and Pablo Escobar room. Both incredible. Only slight criticism is there's no photo opportunity at the end, but that's not enough reason to deduct a star. A must go if you're in Budapest and enjoy escape rooms.

Our family of four(kids 14 and 17) had a fantastic time in the Metro room. We were helped by Will, Amy and Anniko and they were a pleasure! We look forward to coming back before our holiday is over. Highly recommend for a very fun time.

  • 4/5 Adam C. 1 year ago on Google
We did the pirate and Escobar rooms. We liked both of them. My only recommendation is that they find a way to communicate with the players without having to speak over the sound system. It takes away from the experience. This was mainly caused by one of the game pieces not opening properly during our game, so they had to talk to us to figure it out. Other than that it was fun!

Really good escape room. We did the pirate ship and escobar and highly recommend them both! Staff were really friendly and the lounge area was also really cool.

Visited Budapest and did an escape room here 3 days in a row. They all had a really good level of challenge, made our group feel really accomplished, and was one of our favourite activities in Budapest! Leo was friendly and helpful with his recommendations and really made us feel excited for each room, thank you Leo!!!!

Me and my partner love doing escape rooms and have done quite a few between us now. The rooms here are amazing, really immersive and well designed - we could hardly believe the effort put into the decor. We did the Metro room first and then came back the next day to do the Escobar one. Both were brilliant and we'd have done all of them if we'd had more time in Budapest. We loved how it wasn't based around padlocks and keys and instead was puzzling challenges that lead to secret compartments and rooms. Probably the best rooms we've done. Staff were lovely too, great that there was aircon in the rooms as well as refreshments and games to play whilst waiting. Really good value for money too. Cannot recommend enough!

  • 5/5 B B. 1 year ago on Google
First time in an escape room, so can only base my opinion from 1 experience. Metro was pretty cool, multiple events, can get a bit crowded with 6 people. Only recommendation would be to make the parts that require teamwork in a more English friendly way, extremely difficult to pronounce Hungarian words. Other than that, the staff was great, game master was helpful, and was an enjoyable experience.

  • 5/5 Marlies C. 1 year ago on Google
Recommended! We (my boyfriend & me) had so much fun! The rooms are very nice, with their special effects and decorations! Also the puzzles are really fun. The puzzles are well thought out. Everything is well put together! The staff is also very friendly and enthusiastic. It's also nice that you get a discount when you come back. At Locked Room we did: - Heisenberg Project - Serial Killer - Seven Hill At Aroom we did: - Deadland - Ghostcastle

My daughter's review: "The staff was very kind and nice. The game (pirate ship) was fun, not too hard and not too easy. If you're stuck they can give you a helpful clue. We highly recommend it!"

Having done 77 escape rooms now, it takes a lot to impress us, but we were pleasantly surprised, and appropriately challenged, with Pablo Escobar’s room this morning. So much so that we returned tonight to do the Metro room, and had another great experience! Both Fanni and Lena were excellent game masters. Three cheers for them, for providing us with such a great time!

I have visited this escape room with my gang of friends many times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are a fun challenge and are always decorated to the extreme! I’m telling you the level of detail here is *chef’s kiss* ASTOUNDING! If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with friends, look no further than here. If you’re unsure which room to pick, I’m sure that Csongor or any of the other helpful staff will be able to assist you. Thank you, Csongor! 😁

Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend the escape rooms. we prebooked the Metro room and absolutely smashed it, it was so good that we booked the Escobar room after finishing and managed to get a slot within the hour. The rooms are challanging and the staff are fantastic. Our host Fanni was brilliant
