(Translated by Google) A beautiful fortress with a lot of history. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful view and the flair by day and night. On a day tour through Budapest, the fish bastion is definitely part of the program and, if necessary, an Aperol Sprizz for € 15 on the bar at the top.

My recommendation is to visit this place before sunset and observe sunset during hot summer days. The place provides beautiful opportunity to see Budapest and sun will paint the sky and makes amazing atmosphere. I don’t know why, but no tickets were needed.

Great place. A 19th-century fortress with seven observation towers and a café on the terrace. You can walk to the top and from coffee place over there you will find amazing view to Parlament

This place is really lovely, the architecture is great. It has a great view of the pest side. Lots of people during the day but if you go there earlier, it’s really a different vibe and feel. You can appreciate the place more. There’s also a fee if you want to reach the highest wall in Fisherman’s Bastion. Tickets can be bought online or on site.

This place was stunning! If you are a fan of architecture or Harry Potter this was something magical! If visiting in the winter like we did i would suggest you wear proper shoes as we wore trainers and was icy on some parts! Also it is very worth waking up early to visit this place with less tourists about.

I know I have few different pictures in here, but they are all in one place. One is from a Church that had quite a history, the view was just beautiful.

I spent my birthday in Budapest. In particular, I had dinner in the Fisherman's Bastion. It was stunning. The Bastion is so magic and imposing. The view that offers is incredible during the night. The dinner was very nice and tasty. I tried the menu with 4dishes. High standards and service. Living in the Netherlands, I found the price very cheap. I suggest this beautiful place.

This is the first place to visit in Budapest, the outside is open 24hrs and free, the church and tower is open from 9 to 19 and there is a ticket. The church is beautiful and there are about 300 steps to tower but the view is phenomenal. The best time to visit the Bastion is in early morning when very few people are there because this gets crowded real fast. And make sure you also come here in the evening too, the view to the city is absolutely amazing. You can also walk from here to the castle, this is all connected and on the same hill.

One of the most beautiful places to visit in Budapest; it is totally worth waking up early to visit it when there are less tourists. We were there at about 8 am, and still it was kinda crowded, I can't imagine how it looks like in the afternoon. It's such a beautiful place, the architecture is just gorgeous and you have an awesome panoramic city view. Also a really great place for pictures! You should definitely visit Bastion when staying in Budapest!😊

Great place to click photos not only of views but also of yours. Loved. Nearby good eating joints. Spend at least half day here.

The Bastion is a great place to visit in Budapest because it is as beautiful itself as the view it provides on the Pest side of the city. Make sure you fully charge your phone before going, it is impossible not to take a few thousand pictures while you are there.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful site with the fisherman's bastion that seems to be taken out of a story, the Basilica of St. Matthias, one of the main churches in Budapest and one of the best viewpoints in the city. Of course, very visited by tourists and that I was in low season. It is worth the oena both day and night. Definitely the most Instagrammable spot in Budapest, it's always a nice place for a picture. But be warned, it's full of people trying to have their picture taken. Better to go early in morning or late at night. Free to visit of course. Souvenir shop and coffee place on site. Highly recommend.

Very nice and beautiful place to visit for free, also take nice pictures there. If you want to visit the additional towers with better view you will pay extra 6 euros, but it's worth it. The best time to come is before 9 am or on sunset. There are some shops and coffee places like Starbucks and etc, as well as places to eat and sit.

This place was recommended to me before I came. Again, the views are breathtaking. We decided to have a glass of fizz while we were there as although sunny it was pretty chilly. There is a restaurant built within the walls with fantastic views over the Danube and across to Pest.

For sure, it is one of the most astonishing buildings in Budapest and Europe. It doesn't matter if you visit during daytime or night. It'll always look remarkable. One of the biggest perks is also the view you'll have over Pest on the other side of the Danube and all its bridges. So walk around it and then have a nice photo shooting with Budapests most famous and beautiful buildings in the background. It's definitely a must do on your Budapest bucket list.

(Translated by Google) The Fishermen's Castle is one of the most beautiful shrines in Budapest In fact, Fishermen's Bastion is a place not to be made for fishing, such as reception of travelers and excursions. Many people are attracted to beautiful galleries and high towers. They have aesthetic function and are not created for defensive purposes. Despite the fact that the fishermen's colony (Budapest, Hungary) is undisputedly called a good place for fishing, it is still popular and popular with tourists. From here you can see a beautiful panorama of the Danube, as well as pests. Also this item has many other positive properties. Fishing stronghold Prerequisites for creativity Hungarians cherish the traditions of their country of origin. The monument of Istvan I - the Holy King and the First King, who became practically the first ruler of the whole country, meant a lot to them. The local cathedral is also dedicated to the statepeople whose hands have created the foundation for development. It was here that Saint Matiasha had been married twice, and also crowned the heads of the country, who were already governing closer to our time. In addition, for the celebrations here Franz Joseph I came with his wife Elizabeth. Once upon a time there was a temple, which was the patroness of the Virgin Mary, but over time it was destroyed by the Mongol Tatars. Subsequently, Istvan the Great established his church, which was restored by Bella IV, when the country was liberated in 1270. Under the rule of Matthias Corvinus, the state became stronger, so that his church became the main Catholic temple of the city. Fishing stronghold in budapest emergence In the 19th century, it began to emerge at the height of the Budaske hill, and many other architectural structures in Europe did not last. So this place is sometimes called a new building, as well as many local attractions such as Vaidahunyad Castle. The timing of the creation of this scene was determinedthe 1000th anniversary of the formation of Hungary, held in the century before last. However, the work was not completed in time, so the delivery time was converted to 1905. For centuries before the discovery of Fishermankan the bastion has a completely different appearance. Here was the square, which was protected by various high castle. The name of the fishermen's bastion has received the fact that the main commodity traded here is fishing from local waters. In exchange for allowing trade here, the city's guests were forced to stand to protect the settlement in the event of a military threat that might be in the fortress. The fishermen's bastion gradually lost its appeal, as the walls were crumbling and trade was no longer lively. When the Royal Palace was heldReconstruction, decided to pay attention to this place. They used it for a completely different purpose, but the usual name did not disappear from everyday life. Its name seems enormous and very strong, but not for military purposes used as a bastion of fishermen. The photos show that this is a beautiful building, the main purpose of which was to complete the Matyasha Church in one architectural composition. With him has been adapting for more than a century. Image of fishing stronghold structure Once in this city, you probably want to visit Fisher Fishermen. How to get there? It is necessary to follow LP. Holy Trinity. This building, the church has been renovated by an architect named F. Shulek. He worked on all projects of these buildings that now adorn Budapest. Fishermen's stronghold, the image that gives only a distant width of the strength and size of the building, is a gallery, a width of 8 meters. The total length is 140 m, the temple in the center of the composition. Here you can see seven conical-shaped towers. They are symbols of the various tribes that united centuries ago in one state - Hungary. When World War II was in full swing, this building was seriously damaged by bombs falling on the city. Then it was necessary to carry out the reconstruction process, which was employed by Janusz Schulik, the son of the architect who built this landmark. It became a bastion of its kind, family affairs and responsibility. papapest fishing stronghold photo Recent improvements Also, restoration work was carried out in the 1980s. Twentieth century. The reason behind the beginning of these changes lies in the gray color of the walls, which is normal. This is due to the fact that the air is polluted, and it contains a large number of toxic gases, which even spoil the structure, not to mention human health. Moreover, so many statuesIt was necessary to repair or completely change. When all the restoration of the architectural monument was completed, it became part of the heritage of the World Foundation, such as the Buda Palace. The greatest place in Budapest to see the city from over the hill. Here you will never be bored, just stroll along the old city and enjoy the oldest coffee in the area Ruszwurm Confectionery with 200-year-old cherry-wood counter, serving homemade cakes, strudel & coffee. For a more modern choice try one of the greatest hot chocolate in the city at Walzer Café with a verity of cake.

This is a really pretty place to visit, it does feel a little like a fairytale as there's quite a number of spires. You can visit the church as well as the bastion itself. One of the highly recommended places to visit in Budapest. With its high vintage point, it offers great view of city including some of the attraction areas along Danube River like the Hungarian Parliament and Széchenyi Chain Bridge. We visited around 11am and it was already packed with tourists. So better arrive early to have the place to yourself. It has nearby cafes and restaurants including souvenir shop for those who wants to chill while in this area. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience visiting this place.

After a bit of trek you will arrive at beautiful landmark. From where you can have completed view of the city overlooking Danube river. Architecture is at its best at this place. Must visit if you love to see old buildings and get connected with ancient times. Strongly recommend 👍👌

We took some stairs in order to get to this bastion. The “climbing” was worthy. Once you arrive on the top the view is breathtaking - you see the Danube and Pesta side of Budapest. The towers of the bastion have a very beautiful architecture. The only inconvenient is that the place is very crowded. But is expected for such a wonderful place.

This is an iconic visit of Budapest! You absolutely must visit for the views alone, but the history and architecture are just as important as anything in town. It is free to enter the area, but you can choose to pay a little extra to access other parts of the bastion walls. That cost is about 1200 Ft as of November 2023. Visit at sunrise or sunset for the best photos. The grounds are always open so you can come or go as you'd like.

Fantastic architectural marvel definitely worth your time when in Budapest. In addition to the gorgeous buildings, you also get to see a beautiful panoramic view of the Danube river. The entire experience is stunning and surreal. To get to here, you can either take a bus to the nearest station and then walk a few flights of stairs up or take the funicular from the starting point. It is also a favorite spot for locals. We were lucky and managed to catch a local marriage ceremony with nice vintage cars and horses. There are cafes at the top that provides views but they charge touristy prices. All in, a must visit when you are in Budapest.

Stunning views during the day and night. Very romantic in the evening. It’s free to explore the grounds of the fisherman’s bastion. However if you want to go up, you’ll have to pay. I recommend this place in the evening if ou are planning a romantic evening stroll in Budapest. We’ve visited with my daughter who is a part time wheelchair user and since this place is step free if you stay on the ground, it was easy to push her. I’m not sure whether there are any lifts to get up on the fisherman’s bastions. I’ve only seen stairs going up. The buses near the fisherman’s bastion are also very regular so it’s easier to get there and go too. The buses are very cheap one way is about £0.90.

Absolutely beautiful, Many beautiful photo opportunities and lovely views. This place will look magical in lights after dark. You will get nice view of city and parliament building when it is illuminated after dark. It will be little crowded from 7 to 9 Pm. The lights will be lit up until 11 Pm. Place is open all the times. It is next to Mattias chruch. It is about 1km from chain bridge. You can walk up hill or can take a bus connection from the chain bridge.

If you can visit in the late afternoon and stay until the early evening, you can get a nice view from here at sunset. I opted to walk up from the Chain Bridge because the weather was nice and I wanted to see all of the autumn colors as I hiked up to Castle Hill.

My favourite part of Budapest. Been here 7 or 8 times and still in love with this amazing place. The view is incredible, the architecture of the bastion and the church is unique, this place has its own unique charm. A must see when in Budapest!

Such a beautiful place with a lovely lookout over this city and clearly the best picture spot in town as there were so many people there taking photos. But the whole place reminded me of Hogwarts. I just loved being there. Get a coffee or a chimney cake and just enjoy it.

An amazing place to visit in Hungary. No need to take a taxi or anything; just get a day travel card to use the bus, trams, and metro for 550FT for 3 days. It is one of the best places in Budapest for capturing photographs and viewing one side of Budapest from the top. The entry fee to the top building is 100FT per person.

Breathtakingly beautiful. There are few ways to get to the top. You can either take the steps or take a taxi! Not familiar with any bus service but can ask around. Steps are quite steep and might not be the best choice for the unfit. Place itself is beautiful and worth the visit. The view is worth the effort. And it is quite close to Buda Castle.

On a Hill fisherman bastion you can see the city of Budapest there are two options to pay or free the difference is just one floor nothing special. And of course the best time to visit it is during the afternoon where the city is lit up. You can go there with the bus 66A

This Fisherman’s Bastion is so impressive. All of white stones are so incredible and it makes the bastion more beautiful in my opinion. It is a very good place for a view of the whole Parliament, however, it is very crowded. A lot of people want to take pictures, so you may have to wait for people to finish. If you avoid going there at busy time it will give you more pleasure to enjoy the bastion.

I went here on my way towards Buda Castle, however, I spent a whole afternoon here because this place is amazing. The Architecture is beautiful. On the lovely neighborhood, you can find some local stores and some good/cool restaurants. The view from here to Budapest's city and the Danube river is gorgeous. There is a small fee to go to the higher walkway where the view is clearer, so if you can, try that too. To sum up, I'm just waiting to have the chance to go back to Budapest and visit Fisherman's Bastion again.

Very beautiful architecture, from the balconies you can see the fascinating view of Danube river and Hungarian Parliament Building from the other side of the river. This can be also romantic place for the couples, but a bit crowded during peak seasons. Its mostly free entry, depends where you want to go. Beautiful place to visit with fantastic views. It can be busy but the crowds don't really take away from it. Popular spot for wedding photos.

I am happy that Hungary is getting the attention it deserves in terms of tourism. Very beautiful place.

Beautiful complex of stone buildings and surrounding wall. The visit is mandatory, at any time of the day. At night has a mystical vibe, and the night lights of the city are so beautiful.

  • 5/5 Letícia P. 2 years ago on Google
The place has a beautiful view of all the mainly touristic spots of the city. I highly recommend to go during the night because the sight is even more beautiful. The park is very beautiful as well and the entry is free.

A must visit place in Budapest, suggest to take photos in the afternoon especially sunset moment for better experience.

Beautiful place with Fabulous infrastructure. There is a beautiful church in this area. City view is spectacular from here. Starbucks restaurant is also available here.

Sure, it has a beautiful view over the city and is an impressive fortress, but it also felt like walking into a massive tourist trap with everyone taking the exact same photo. 🤷‍♀️ We liked the Buda castle nearby a lot more.

The place is one of the famous in Budapest. Have a beautiful view to the city and even the architect is amazing. I love to go up there any Time when im around. Too Many tourist go there and just took pictures. 2 coffee place use the Best side from the Building and you are not really able to see any good view when is the summer season. In the winter you able to go up to the 1st floor without pay any money.

Another fabulous building in Budapest. The architecture is amazing here. There is a bit of an incline and a lot of steps to go up, so make sure you have decent footwear and have good puff, otherwise you can take the little buses up. Beautiful views over the city, including the parliament buildings.

  • 5/5 Marek H. 2 years ago on Google
Great view, beautiful church but it's usually very crowded. Morning hours are fine. There is a upper floor, ticket only, not worth it through, used to be free. Go see the streets behind the Church's square.

Want a fantastic view over Peste? This is the place. It is just breath taking and it's a must-see. After visiting the Parliament and since the Chain Bridge is closed it's just a metro ride away (M2 line) plus a 15min walk 🚇🚶‍♀️😁

  • 5/5 Bianca O. 2 years ago on Google
Fairytale like place! I was in a dream, it's a must-see in Budapest and a free one! I absolutely adored The Fishman Bastion! It was early in the morning and I was almost alone best visit so far!

  • 5/5 chiara p. 2 years ago on Google
Great, highly recommended! You have an amazing view both by night and by day! You do not need to pay the ticket to get on top of the towers, you can have the same view for free from the balcony. Enjoy!!

  • 5/5 Mike K. 2 years ago on Google
What an amazing picturesque place! It looks like a castle taken right out of a fairy tale! This is a must see in Budapest! From the top you get views over the whole east part of Budapest, the parlament building by the river and just breathtaking view. Would highly recommend although it does get a little crowded! We visited in February and there was a lot of people. Can't think what's it like in the summer!

This place is the most beautiful part of Buda castle. You have to walk up the hill. You can take photographs from the gallery. No entry fees. They have many cafes nearby.

  • 5/5 Angirmaa B. 2 years ago on Google
The place reminded of a castle where princesses would have lived 😍. Great spot for your pictures taken, ended up having lots of good pictures. Had a warm wine 🍷 and was just nice atmosphere .

Fisherman's bastion does not require a ticket. It is a really beautiful place with very old monuments from the imperial era. You can enjoy incredible views of the city (Pest) and also you can relax on a small coffee shop and have a drink. A totally amazing experience.

  • 5/5 ALEX WOOJAE K. 1 year ago on Google
If you want see the panoramic city view of Pest part, this is the must-visit place. Great architecture, amazing view, historic remedy and photogenic spots! Tips: There are staircases(kinda hidden) that you can cut through the streets heading up to the bastion from the metro station Batthyány tér. You should not miss it in Budapest❤️

This place is one of the best architectures in Budapest, for me personally maybe even better than the Parliament itself. It is pretty far away from the city center, but you can take a cab or a bus to a nearby station and then hike your way up. It has an absolutely stunning overview of the city, and a lot of great photo spots. It can be overcrowded, especially during the weekend, but don't let that stop you from visiting.

  • 5/5 Beth K. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely stunning location, the highlight of our visit to Budapest. Most of the site is free, but for a small fee you can walk along the ramparts and take pictures away from the bulk of the crowds, which I would definitely recommend. The view is also lovely but the architecture is truly spectacular and it was hard to tear myself away from it!

  • 5/5 Sam S. 10 months ago on Google
This is a popular place in Buda for a reason; great scenery, viewpoint, architecture and even more beautiful when the sun is shining. There is no fee to enjoy most of the views, though if you want to enter the top part there is a small handful of Euros per person (you can purchase on the ticket area, or via QR link and by card). We did that would recommend; it is less busy and more chilled with better views.

  • 5/5 Michael S. 10 months ago on Google
Fisherman's Bastion is in my opinion the most impressive historical monument in Budapest along with the Parliament. The architecture is unique and the views of Budapest (especially Pest part) are really outstanding. Understandably this is also the mos crowded historical monument in Budapest. It is definitely worthy to see it and it seems quite reachable also by Bolt for those who do not want to undergo such an elevation.

  • 5/5 Justina M. 10 months ago on Google
Great place. We did not buy the ticket because it was only to go up the towers and only to see the view. There are very good places to take pictures. The buildings are amazing.

  • 5/5 Hyeon Jin S. 10 months ago on Google
It's a beautiful place both day and night. There's no entrance fee in the evening, and in the summer I recommend visiting around 7pm to see the view when the sun is out, then have dinner nearby and see the night view.

  • 4/5 Emily 9 months ago on Google
Lovely views from lower and upper terrace. You do have to pay for the upper terrace and I'd say the views are the same from the lower terrace so probably just save your money since it is pricey, but my husband and I got in for free due to our disability companion card

  • 5/5 Safal S. 10 months ago on Google
Lovely Church and Castle with the view of Danube and pest city. For photos, going in the morning would be better. There is fountain for fresh cold drinking water. Great for hot and humid weather.

  • 5/5 Adnan R. 9 months ago on Google
A very historical and an attractive place for the tourists. From the top of the place, you can see the Danube river, The Parliament palace as well and the view is breathtaking.

  • 5/5 michael g. 9 months ago on Google
We were there during the afternoon and into the early hours of the night. Was absolutely beautiful, the view of the inner Buda city and the other side, walking the streets. Also recommend Jamie Olivers Italian right next to the main building

  • 5/5 Jack H. 10 months ago on Google
Great place to spend your time, you can appreciate the view making it a cheap way to kill some time, or you can pay to enter the church or the tower if you don't mind the steps. There's also a good array of eateries overlooking the city.

  • 5/5 Mokha S. 9 months ago on Google
Free to enter, only few places in tower for fee. Very nice to chill out, an good view from the top. But better to get there in early morning or in the evening special in summer. It wad hot and not comfortable.

  • 5/5 Piuli Basu Roy C. 9 months ago on Google
A beautiful fort on the Danube basin, looking over Budapest stole my heart. Its beautiful roof tiles, architectural elements and the vibe from atop was truly extraordinary. This place is a must visit while in Budapest.

  • 5/5 Bram B. 9 months ago on Google
Very nice part of Budapest. Very crowded with people who want to make a good picture for Instagram. But fantastic views of the city. Tip: visit at sunset / dusk for the best views.

  • 5/5 Vidhya B. 8 months ago on Google
Best place to visit early morning. Be there by 7am to have it empty to take pictures and enjoy the view. Around 9am it gets very crowded. Loved the view. Before 9am also he top section is free after that you would need a ticket. Must visit!!

  • 5/5 Carina K. 9 months ago on Google
Feels like Lord of the Rings stage and Harry Potter are in the dame place. Perfect to go in the evening. If you can take a guide tour (there are a lot of them free) the place is full of history. At night the upper balcony is open free of charge

  • 5/5 Ádám V. 8 months ago on Google
The architecture of this landmark is truly stunning. It takes you back to the monarchic times. It provides probably one of the best views of the city. If you want to avoid the crowd, go there early (before 10 AM), otherwise, you might need to wait for a good photo spot. But the best lights are around sunset (and obviously the place is packed at that time)

  • 5/5 Paulius J. 7 months ago on Google
Beautiful architecture and high vantage points for some of the best panoramic views of Budapest and the Danube river. Entry is free but fairly crowded depending on when you go - best views would be during sunrise (with the fewest tourists) or sunset. The Fisherman’s Bastion is one of the must-see sights when in Budapest so I would highly recommend it.

  • 5/5 Laura C. 8 months ago on Google
This is a must!! It's a nice walk to get there, it has really good views and you don't need to pay to see the buildings (you can for extra sightseeing)! In front of the Mathias church we were lucky to see Chinese children playing a symphonic concert

  • 5/5 Romy S. 8 months ago on Google
A must see when in Budapest! You have such a great view over the city and the church. To walk along the top you have to buy tickets for 900HUF (3 EUR) online via QR-Code or at a little ticket box on site.

  • 5/5 Olena L. 7 months ago on Google
In my opinion it’s one of the most beautiful places in Budapest. It’s worth visiting anytime since it’s open 24 hours a day. Sometimes it can get extremely crowded because of the tourists but it is what it is. It’s one of the most famous city landmarks anyway. Most of the areas are free (except for the church, etc).

  • 5/5 K C. 7 months ago on Google
after the big climb it is really pretty! there are nice view points and places to hide from the sun. entry to the top is cheap, but i didn’t bother as you could see a beautiful view from the middle. recommend!! it is like a not painted disney land castle 😂🫶

  • 4/5 Geoffrey B. 7 months ago on Google
Pretty like a Disney castle, but when we went it was also crowded like one. Away from the bastion, wandering through the quiet streets of Pest, the atmosphere was very different, so I suppose choose your timing well, because mid day in August is definitely not the best time to go.

  • 5/5 Karthika N. 7 months ago on Google
If you want to do it during sunset hours, this place will look magical. Unfortunately I didn’t have time so I did it at noon, was super sunny and hot. But the views were just as good and I went into the chapel that was so gorgeous. Sat down for a quick prayer. Amazing place, great views and almost Disneyland like

  • 5/5 Mer-Ria 7 months ago on Google
Beautiful view, chill place to sit on the benches around with water fountain. Lower section is free [reminder] You can still take amazing pictures. Everyone is respectful and helpful to get those perfects pics. Ticket booth was card only, which was kind of a shame but guess it deters larger crowds which is good too.

  • 5/5 Wendy J. 7 months ago on Google
Most romantic part of Budapest. Incredible views. Highly recommend going at sunset and staying as the lights of the city come on. Dazzling views. No tickets needed. Free.

  • 5/5 zahra b. 6 months ago on Google
Amazing architecture on top of the hill. Highly recommend visiting after the dark when the lights around the city illuminate everything. Before you keep walking up hill, there’s a bus connection from the chain bridge that we found out about on our way back!

  • 5/5 S I. 6 months ago on Google
Must visit for sunrise! You will love it. Lovely views and lots of people taking pics, yet not too busy at all!

  • 5/5 Andy C. 5 months ago on Google
A busy place.. but fantastic view over the river and parliament. I recommend going just before sunset as you get both daytime and excellent night photos.

  • 5/5 Dr. M H. 4 months ago on Google
So so so pretty especially during summer or spring time. The sky is blue and the tower so white and tall. Every corner very enchanted just like a fairytale. Please come earlier in the morning if you want to take pictures. The later, the more crowded. Definitely a must visit site!

  • 5/5 Katarina Petrović I. 4 months ago on Google
One of the famous Budapest tourist attractions, always crowded so be prepared to wait in lines to take photos 😅 if coming with a car, it is a gated area so you’ll have to walk 500m-1km if parked in front. Easy access tho

  • 5/5 Jasmina S. 4 months ago on Google
here you will really find one of the most beautiful architectures in Europe. very nice view, enjoyment. there is also a souvenir shop that has very interesting things

  • 5/5 Elsbeth P. 3 months ago on Google New
We enjoyed a magical wander at night! The view was amazing and the lights enchanting. There were several vendors selling crafts and food; the former were a bit overpriced but some of the food was comparably priced to other winter markets we encountered in the city. A worthwhile stop!

  • 5/5 Sveto R. 3 months ago on Google New
Entrance is free. The fortress complex with the beautiful church is a great impression of Budapest! This whole part of the city has an irresistible charm and looks like a bohemian quarter. Much nicer on summer or spring.

  • 5/5 Pranit D. 3 months ago on Google New
I visited this during Christmas holidays in 2023. A wonderful sight with the snow. Don't miss an opportunity to catch sunset from the multiple panaromic viewpoints. There are food options nearby (Starbucks, Jamie Oliver's, etc.) is you are famished by the hike!

  • 5/5 Olga K. 3 months ago on Google New
Beautiful place with amazing views. The public transportation bus takes you nearby and you just have to walk up some stairs. It’s free of charge. If you wanna go inside the church you have to buy a ticket. Must visit.
