The worst restaurant I've ever eaten in, the first thing are some "foreign robbers" since no local would enter that local, questions if you can pay with card and say yes but then they invent the excuse that you can only pay with cash, the lousy food, horrible, the first a soup that could be water with an avecrem, the second a tasteless chicken or a burnt pizza (frozen), and finally a "pancake" that was an apple with chocolate syrup, which we do not touch any, the waiters besides being edges are scary, they seem out of the Adams family, this the butler Lurch, fetid etc. ... In short, don't enter this place if you don't want to star in a nightmare episode in the kitchen. Be careful.

I think one star is still too many. Place to avoid absolutely. I have never been to a restaurant like this. A tourist trap. Horrible dish. Very expensive. Incompetent service because it takes too long. The translation of the menu is completely wrong so what we ordered was not our choice at all. Too long to ask for the real order. Instead of the equivalent of €7 as proposed, result €55!!!!!

They lured us to the place with the excuse of asking us the time, and telling us that it was "beer o'clock" Given this statement we were forced to drink some good beers, and we had the horrible idea of ordering something to eat. From here the purria began. €10 for a dish consisting of a premature onion, a piece of plasticine that they dare to call a sausage, mozzarella from a syphilitic cow, and a sausage that was whiter than the Aliaga brand. The quality of the place is scandalous, and the price is exaggerated. The place embraces purria and is not ashamed of it. I would only return out of morbidity

First they gave us food that we didn't order. Then that happened again. After a long time, we finally got our food, but my food was literally just a few slices of mozzerella, tomatoes and some olives... And my brother's salad was very gross. Then the waiters (who were smoking) took very long to give us the bill and we discovered they charge almost 10% 'service' costs. Doesn't make any sense. They also only accepted cash. Worst 'restaurant' I've been to in a very long time

Horrible and horrifying at the same time. The tourist-baiter on the street looked homeless and one of the waiters looked drunk, he couldn't walk straight. The food was hideous. I asked for pork with baked potatoes. The pork looked and tasted microwaved. One of the pork "chunks" looked like it came down a cow's arse. The baked potatoes were just french fries which were soaked in oil/fat. I suggest you evade this at all costs. About costs: there's no drinks on the menu...(they don't have coke..) And they only accept cash. So if you ever get lured in be sure to have "some" cash with you. By the way, if you're going to eat late (around 22:00 or 10pm. There's a burger king at the start of the street, you can't look around it. You get better value and at least you know what you'll get.

This is one of the worst food experiences I've ever had the displeasure of. The food was rubbish and tasteless, the waiter was a liar and was very sly. We got charged 30,000 ft for a meal which was a very tasteless goulash and then we were convinced to order a platter for two which was basically all deep fried potatoes, a few pieces of grilled meat some fried chicken and some old garden salad. We were charged 9,900 ft for a bottle of wine.We wanted to pay by card but we're told cash only. When we questioned the bill the waiter made lots of excuses and we felt really uncomfortable and we just wanted to get out of there. We advise others to stay well clear of this place, very disappointing experience from Budapest. I wish we would read the reviews first before we got convinced on the street to come in!

Like many reviewers before us, we were lured to the restaurant by the seemingly generous discounts, but it quickly turned out to be a complete tourist trap. Not only was the atmosphere completely run down and the waiter incredibly slow, but there was always excessively loud music coming from the kitchen. The food itself was below average, carelessly prepared and served lukewarm, only the starter soups tasted good. In addition, the cutlery was dirty. The card payment was only accepted after a long discussion with the waiter. The bill was completely non-transparent as it only showed prices but no dishes. Ultimately this ended in us being charged €20, which we couldn't explain where it came from. The restaurant is definitely not recommended and should be avoided at all costs.

We should have checked their rating before sitting down. It took them 1,5 hours to make four pizzas. Half our group got their pizza after 40 minutes so they were finished before we started on ours. Food tasted okay but it was expensive, but that's the case for most restaurants on this street

Tourist trap. Very low quality of food and poor service. I heard the sound of microwave during the meal. They said I could pay with card, but then only cash was accepted. Hence I paid with EUR with 12% compulsory service charge, which was much higher than in HUF. Even worse, the staff wanted to give me the change in HUF with a very bad exchange rate. Worst experience in Budapest.

We decided to give a chance to this place promised by an offer of a cheaper menu (2000 hufs) and half price beer. But the food was terrible, the restaurant creepy (humidity, dark, dirty, very old school) and they charged 990 hufs / beer plus the tip. Basically the discount of the menu was charged in the beer that was supposed to be half price. I heavily recommend not to have lunch here.

Avoid this place!!! We was tempted with "low price" (2000 HFU per dinner) but the food was in low quality and disgusting. The Hungarian beer - low quality. Toilet - horrible. If help, give OK!

🫤 The waiters are not nice at all and the guy at the entrance is super arrogant. The queue was super long and there were several open tables around us. People complained about it. We were lucky to get food served pretty quick. The 2 stars are deserved for the great food for reasonable pricing! The cle...
