It's a magical place, guys. A hidden gem in the heart of Budapest. Amazing crew, nice guests, the drinks are very well mixed, nice repertoire. Definitely recommend it if you want to grab a couple of drinks.

We stopped for a quick drink late afternoon and as expected was quiet. The barman was a true gent, gave us loads of recommendations and mixed us a decent cocktail. It's one of those tiny hole on the wall locations that when it's on feels like it's one of those nights to remember.

Literally our favourite place to go in Budapest when we visited! The staff were just insanely kind and lovely and couldn’t have been nicer. Great cocktails and at such a great price. The vibe is immaculate and we felt so welcomed there, they even remembered when we came back which was the sweetest thing ever. If you go anywhere, go here 🫶🏻

Favourite stop on Budapest weekly Pass. Possibly best value drinks in town for the excellence of quality offered. Not a tourist destination with plentifora of underground flavour. However if you want a crowded space beyond a seazon or/and unpopulated drink bar in the seazon this venue hits a sweet spot. To do them justice one have to mention different flavours of pinacolada here and few other local specialities. Sex onthe beach was amazing or a Brave lion if you dare (I didn't...). Happened to live near by so become my favourite stop before hitting a night out. Tram 6/4 gets you there.

Adam, the lonely bartender, celebrates on the 19-10-19 , two years for opening the Rabbit Hole bar. The world-wide geek bar is full of mysterious surprises, which correspond with Alice who has fallen into the rabbit hole, from the paintings, decorations on the walls and various icons to the designed cocktails, served in morning smoothie glasses, with iconic names from Alice's books and films. The hit is the box games (in Hungarian) or console games, which delight the celebrants in the bar. A variety of cocktails, beers (requiring urgent stock replenishment) buts, and an agreement with a nearby pizza bakery will cater to celebrants. Overall, a kind and inexpensive place to recap and end the day in Budapest.

A place that I highly recommend to visit! Located next to Octogon and Terror house, the best place for a drink. They have a wide variety of drinks, cocktails and beers, have some board games available and a very nice atmosphere with cool music. All the staff and owner are very friendly and inviting!

Probably the best bar I've been to, in Budapest. Not because of anything fancy. It's just a simple, small and cozy bar with board games. What makes this special is the service and the drinks. The people there are super nice. Oh and don't forget to try their best cocktail, Brave Lion

We organised a cocktail class as a surprise for a bachelorette party and we had the best time learning how to make cocktails in The Rabbit Hole! The 2 managers are amazing, super friendly and flexible for specific requests, playing our playlists etc. We’ll definitely go again next time we are in Budapest!!

The absolute nicest (and fastest) service we received in the whole city! The owner is incredibly friendly, atmosphere is great, it's clean and cosy, and last but not least - the cocktails were amazing! It's super tourist-friendly, cards are accepted, literally nothing to complain about. Can't wait to come back when I visit Budapest again!

Great little bar that had some outside seating. Drinks were very reasonably priced and the bartender was very friendly. We had a Negroni which was good and their special cocktail called the Brave Lion which was full of booze but you couldn't taste it at all. My friend also wanted a Dark and Stormy which wasn't on the menu but after explaining how to make it, the bartender whipped up a pretty good one.

Price/quality are top here. Cocktails are handled with great care and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere feels informal, bit rough, masculine, playful, punky. Has an outside terrace.

Best bar I've been to in Budapest. The guy behind the bar is really accommodating and very good at knocking up a cocktail. Prices are cheap and the place has a cool grungy vibe going on. Feels very homely and welcoming. Recommend "The Brave Lion" cocktail. It'll get you where you're going.

Let down by cocktails (sorry!): cocktail ice filled the whole glass and barely left room for any cocktail. Bartender could only make cocktails on the menu: no margaritas 😭. Didn't try the beers, so worth a stop.

I loved this place! The drinks are reasonable and they taste great! I had a sex on the beach and the "sweetest, cutest, fanciest" cocktail which was a chocolaty cocktail. Both were amazing. The toilets are clean, except for some tear and wear. No mess on the floor and there's actually soap. The place is convenient, it's literally one block away from the 4th and 6th tram. I really recommend this place to everyone

Adam was the nicest Barkeeper ever. The alternative setting and feel good atmosphere got us immediately. As a Tourist, places where you are honestly welcome are not that easy to find. The rabbit hole managed it pretty well. The service even recommended cheaper but better drinks. We had a couple of cocktails and a veeery good pálinka. We will be back again! Köszönöm! I have to remove one star for the toilets. Please keep them a little bit cleaner and I'll go for 5/5.

A small and really nice bar in Budapest! The thematic and every small detail is was made with fun and passion. I recommend for a good drink or a good beer and also was useful to have some good tips from the bartender about the city. More like a local place then just touristic attractions.

One week after the newly relocated rabbit hole bar has opened and it’s as if nothing had happened,the staff are ultra attentive and nothing is too much trouble,great music,great drinks at slightly below average price for the area,what more could you want.

I loved it here! The cocktails were absolutely delicious and the waiters were really kind and funny. It is, as the name says it, a hole so it might not be for everyone since it’s dark and quite small. But I would definitely recommend it.

Went to this place based on its reviews and absolutely loved it. It's very small, dark but intriguing. This is voted in the top 5 places in Budapest to eat yet they don't make the food themselves. They serve pizza which is brought in from somewhere else. Whilst we didn't eat it ourselves it smelt lovely but don't go there expecting much choice as it's literally just pizza! Great experience none the less

Very nice place, its a little dark inside, which us great, gives a place a real rabbit hole like feeling. The lights and Alice in Wonderland themed design gives it a unique atmosphere. The bartender is funny, making jokes constantly, but not in a bad way. The lemonade is very tasty, comes in a jar. The coffee is very bitter, not atomatic at all, it's either cheap beans or bad coffe machine, but at least its made with care. The prices are not expensive. It's worth to visit surely.

One of my favpurite spots in Budapest. The cocktails are delicious, stronger than tgey seem at first, and they've got a good price range. The staff is absolutely lovely, the place is frequented by tourists and it is very easy to make new friends. You can pay with cash or card.
