We wandered in from sightseeing for some lemonade and were happy to discover that they made them not from syrup and for decent prices with complementary snacks. Service was also fast and attentive 💕

Awesome brasserie / restaurant. The goulash was great. The lobster bisque was more of lobster with some bisque. The chicken was nice and tender. The chocolate souffle was good, but by far the best was the French Toast with the sweet white wine! Absolutely amazing.

Beautiful place, very fine dining. Waiters were very attentive, offering advice on food and wine. We were checked on with every course and plates were cleared promptly. A couple of small issues that prevented a 5 star review, we ordered a side of mashed potato with our main which was forgotten, we had to ask for it again after we had started so were nearly half way through our dinner when it was bought over (it was delicious when it arrived). The chocolate cake sponge was dry, all other elements of the desert and the rest of the meal for that matter were perfect, but when you are paying these prices you expect the whole meal to be absolutely spot on.

The dishes are good but nothing special. At this nice place could be a little bit higher quality. The side dish french fries next to the steak looks like frozen Aviko 🙂 Good, crispy, tasty, but really nothing special. The brioche dessert is the best on the menu! If you decided to eat here, go for the brioche 🙂 Second time: The desserts are all really good here. Much stronger than the dishes.

A friend invited us to attend a 4th of July celebration here and I was so glad he did. The food was incredible and the service impeccable. What a delightful way to elevate the typical American BBQ fare. Kudos to the Chef and kitchen staff for this well executed delightful combination of flavors.

Perfect brassiere in the downtown of Budapest with a view on the Buda Castle. The personnel was very polite. Good restaurants are know by shorter menu and smaller portions. So you can be sure if you eat something it will way above average and you can eat 3 courses without being completely full.

The day has come: we arrived in kollazs restaurant! You probably ask yourself: how was it?! We answer: 1. The atmosphere: weird servants, weird Batman pictures, weird atmosphere. HOWEVER: Have you ever heard about the four seasons hotel??? It is there. 2. Soup: we had two soups: onion 🧅 soup 🍲 and lobster 🦞 soup 🍲. The onion soup was incredible. The lobster soup was incredible (+). 3. Duck 🦆: we had two ducks. They were nice. Weird sides (some loved, some hated, In the end of the day: neutral 😐). 4. Desserts: we had none. Let's go to artizan bakery! The best!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5. In conclusion: 6.

The food is good. It's not excellent, but on par from what you'd expect at an establishment like this. However, the server commented on me not eating all of my food when taking the plate away. A tip! If you try to run an upscale restaurant, don't belittle your guests not eating everything on the plate. You're a restaurant, not my mother.

(Translated by Google) Sunday brunch There is no place in Budapest where we wouldn't have tried Sunday lunch .... No snail made anywhere else ... Hundred Stars - because it was good! Appetizers, soups, main courses and desserts are also delicious. We didn't let our glasses run out. The wines weren't creepy lures either ... I'll give you two more ⭐️⭐️. (Original) Sunday brunch Nincs olyan hely Budapesten, ahol ne próbáltuk volna a vasárnapi ebédet....

Located inside the Four Seasons, this place has a charming old world atmosphere and very comfortable couches you can enjoy your meal in. There are some delicious options on the menu from fish over meats and some good side dishes. Also a good selection of wines, liquor and beers. Absolutely also make room for desert - both beautifully presented and supremely delicious. Staff professional and polite - some younger assistants, a bit less so, but they are mainly bringing out meals and drinks. The food is delicious, scrumptious and also very nicely presented. Speaking of drinks - consider ordering off their drink menu as a stopper - they make some excellent cocktails.

This place merged elegance and rich quality into their cooking with their springy appetizers, quality main course, and an exceptional dessert. Starting with the appetizers, I ordered fois gras, while the rest of my table ordered salad and goulasch soup. The fois gras was yellow indicating quality care of the liver. Something that many would overlook is how even the toasting of the bread was. When I spread my fois gras on the bread and took a bite I got the perfect chomp into it to make the texture that much better. The salad was nothing special, however throughout this meal you could find the common trait of quality. Finally, the goulasch soup. This was probably one of the highlights in the appetizers offered. The flavor was exploding as you could feel the broth and juices sear out of the meat in your mouth. For the main course, everyone at my table ordered the classic schnitzel. This was one of the best I had ever had. Not only did it satisfy my hunger for the day, but for the next 3 days. Seasoned with potato and tomatoes, the chicken was full and flavor was the perfect texture. Nothing more to say except that this was a perfected classic schnitzel. For the dessert I had a french toast. It wasn't too heavy and it was fluffy. I got the bread pudding vibe from it as it the sugar melted into a pudding like texture. Appetizer: 8.5 Main Course: 9 Dessert: 8.8

Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Great location near the Chain Bridge (Pesh side) and located at the Four Seasons hotel. I would give the food 3.4 to 4 stars, especially for the price. The escargot was overcooked (dried up sauce), the frog legs was very tasty, but super tiny! My steak was beautifully cooked, but lacked flavor. The prawns were okay, but over saturated. The lychee martini was the highlight. It was a fun cocktail. Our waiter, Mate' (Matt), was great. The restaurant automatically changed a 14% gratuity. $100 per person for the meal.

Amazing restaurant in the heart of the city. All meals were freshly prepared, nicely presented and very tasty. Would highly recommend their special dessert, the french toast. The best bit was the service. Extremely knowledgeable waiters, who know the menus inside and out. Thank you for Mate, Krisz and Flora for serving us last night. Thank you for Adam for your wine recommendation and Susu for greeting us with a bright smile. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for something special!

The best dining experience I've had in weeks. The soup was to die for. Creamy and rich without being overpowering. The rissoto was magical and has candy-like crackers on the side. The decor and serviced matched the amazing food. Recommended!

My favourite place to eat in Budapest! The atmosphere is delightful and the staff are so friendly. The menu has a good mix of French and Hungarian dishes, all cooked to a great standard - it changes seasonally and there is a daily menu too. I especially love the soups. They also cook a fab ribeye steak! Better than some steak houses in Budapest. The cocktail menu is also quite exciting, and the staff and chefs go out of their way to fix anything wrong with your order. On the more expensive side for Budapest but very standard for restaurants inside 5 star hotels. Good for business lunches and also special occasions. Was tempted to move the star rating down because the response from them feels so copy pasted corporate shill. Honestly don’t bother responding if you’re going to just copy some n standard nonsense. My third edit: food has definitely taken a hit since they changed pastry chefs. Gone are the godly souffles replaced with dessert ravioli which makes no sense and is ridiculously heavy and just plain weird. Service also went down a bit. But I have a lot of loyalty to this place and hope it improves back to it’s previous standard.

Great food, everything’s was perfect from starters to the mains, tasty dishes and fresh ingredients. The waiter was really kind and thoughtful to our kids, he even bring them crayons for the them to draw and play in the waiting time, also the wines he recommended was really nice. Atmosphere was pretty classic and old fashion vibe, which is really nice. 100% recommended to go, he if want some nice food and enjoy the vintage atmosphere, and also it’s convenient to visit the chain bridge and the royal palace.

Excellent restaurant, exclusive building, exceptional staff. The steak was cooked to perfection, the goose liver and appricot jam is a great combination and the french toast is really creamy while the strawberry and ice cream makes it perfect for summer. Highly recommended.

Went with my friend who visited from the states with high expectations to have some great cocktails more so since this location is also one of the prime location under the Four Season’s portfolio. We already experienced the one in Orlando and NY. The entire staff was very polite with a big smile on their face which is very unusual in Hungary. The hostess followed us to the table and even hung up our coats which I did not even experienced in the states. However, the cocktails were disappointing due to the bland, ordinary and bland flavors. There were nothing special about the cocktails which were surprising at this type of place. It would be highly recommended to reconsider the cocktails menu to raise it to the other Four Seasons’ level. We did not have anything to eat so cannot write about the food.

One of the best experiences. Kollazs is a great Brasserie with an amazing selection of cocktails and great food. They went the extra mile to help us with our requests. We were given an excellent table upon our request. What an amazing service. We had great meat and wine. Our waiter was so kind. He assisted us with everything from the drinks to the food including allergen information. We had an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much!

Enjoyable meal at this restaurant. Staff were kind and efficient. Food was tasty. My fellow diner’s meat was undercooked and bread was slightly dry, but otherwise the meal was nice. I loved the flavour of the peach in the summer salad. I’d also recommend the cheese gougeres. The side dishes were generous in portion size. Felt the restaurant could lower the lighting slightly not to attract the moths, and create a more intimate atmosphere.

The restaurant is beautiful, the food is good, the starter (tuna) was fresh, the dover sole fish with mashed potatoes was very good, the fillet and fries were very good too, I wasn't convinced about the béarnaise sauce. Unfortunately the service wasn't good at all, waiter disappearing often and for long time, he forgot to say that the steak wasn't available and he served the wine when the starter was already on the table. (1to10) Food: 8 Service: 6 Atmosphere: 8

We stopped by for a little liquid refreshment. I ordered a local draught beer and a bottle of water. The place is truly beautiful, Four Seasons, Art Déco/Belle Epoque Style. Zsolt offered a five stars service and was very kind to us. Thank you for the recommendations! :)

I used to love to come here and enjoy the excellent service and delicious food. Unfortunately I see how the quality decreases and I find it a bit sad. Food: Aesthetically great looking, I ordered the goulash - which being in Hungary and in this top location, should be a safe bet. But it was very salty, the herbs mixture strong, the broth very plain, and it missed out on the spicy paprika. I took a few spoons and couldn’t eat it. Service: welcoming, polite. But I had ordered still water, but before I could mention on room temperature, they already had the cold bottle and one filled glass on the table. Maybe because they think we are all Americans and like cold drinks only. I asked for the bill, my goulash soup bowl was full. Nobody bothered to ask if something was not right with the food. They just charged it, no interest in customer satisfaction, came with the bill and left. In any restaurant on this league, you would expect at least a sign of interest or maybe to offer an alternative to the meal. Overall a disappointing experience, and I might go back , but probably just for a coffee and cake, because I love the building. But the restaurant does not match with the greatness of the building and its history.

One of the best places for breakfast in the city. The food was well prepared. Service was attentive and pleasant. Menu selection and pricing is average. A big bonus to this place is its location. It’s inside the Four Seasons hotel which by default makes it appeal more to hotel guests than locals or tourists not staying on-site. Therefore you get to eat in peace, without the crowds. Highly recommend. You can’t go wrong here.

Sometimes do live music, it’s so nice and summertime can sit outside with basilica view. I have been here more than three times and tried more than nine kind’s of cocktail. One of the man bartender makes awesome cocktail! Especially recommend ‘Flower of yealand’ If you like lavender!

(Translated by Google) We reserved a table by the window on Saturday and got it without any problems, even though the place was quite full. My bag also found a place at the table on a chair (see the picture :)). The staff is very nice, a lady welcomed us very friendly right at the entrance. We were served lovingly and felt very comfortable. This bar is definitely recommended!

Absolutely the best restaurant I have been in Budapest. Top quality food, cosy setting like a French brasserie meeting with a diner from the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Make sure to opt for the rendezvous with the chef. An amazing degustation menu, with 9 courses, choose the menu with wine selection. One by one each course is a creation, the chef presents it to you, tlevery day it is different, while the sommelier himself brings you a matching wine. It's like a blind date with the restaurant :)

🫤 The waiters are not nice at all and the guy at the entrance is super arrogant. The queue was super long and there were several open tables around us. People complained about it. We were lucky to get food served pretty quick. The 2 stars are deserved for the great food for reasonable pricing! The cle...
