A must visit! The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive and there was live music playing which was great. One of the best meals we had while on our trip to Budapest. A twist on traditional Spanish tapas. Our server Sudheer was so helpful explaining the mine and giving reccomendations. He is a credit to the restaurant!

We had a great time here dining with friends! Beautiful bar with super attentive and kind staff! Fun atmosphere with Latin American music. The menu is interesting, but certainly not traditional Spanish tapas, more like contemporary fusion dishes. The food was good although a couple of dishes were too salty. Good portions and reasonable prices. The burgers in particular were great! Excellent service.

Make sure to make a reservation if you plan to eat and drink! Definitely worth it. We loved Friday night at Vicky Barcelona since they picked up all the tables around 11 and a DJ played the best music. Fun for a night out dancing! Loved it.

Reka was a brilliant waitress. She remembered our orders, has been absolutely lovely throughout. Truly a wonderful experience here. I have never had tapas like this - they all had a twist! Don't think I've had Spanish food this good!! Would love to come back.

We went for food only and not for a party. Our food was great and even the seafood was surprisingly fresh, which is a big thing in Hungary as Hungary doesn’t have a straight connection to a sea! Our waiters/waitresses were slow however and almost we had to ask them please can you bring some plates for our tapas dinner. When the items kept arriving they failed to remove the old plates. Overall however the food was really good , think it is over priced for what they are but it was nice.

Enjoyed some nice cocktails here on our last night in Budapest. The ambiance was brilliant. A young man playing Spanish guitar, singing Spanish songs beautifully. We really enjoyed the experience.

Busy Spanish tapas in the heart of the ruin bars and Jewish Quarter. The restaurant is nestled in a courtyard. They had love music on which was pleasant. The food was better than we expected. The restaurant recommends 2-3 portions per person which is about right depending on how hungry one is. A great selection on drinks. Lively atmosphere. The service was excellent, very friendly and Overall a good place to eat ok the cheap and if you're not expecting fine dining.

A bit hidden away at the end of Gozsdu Udvar, but great place, with a nice atmosphere and good vibes. Food and drinks were great, we had a nice table with a view on the lively street. Good music, friendly waitresses and the welcome shot(s) and desert were a nice extra. Will definitely recommend and come here again.

Lovely lively place, serving yummy fancy tapas dishes - but at decent prices. We had some dishes that we wouldn’t necessarily find in Spain having had tapas loads of times. Very enjoyable! Great service by Arman and Sol :)

At first it looked promessing, but it came to be a big dissapointment. Do not order the 1.5L Margarita, it is mainly ice with Fanta and maybe 1 glass of the cheapest local red wine. We set not far from the bar and saw how it was made. The menu contains some Tapas plates, but not enough. It is a Tapas bar, it should contain much more options. Do not order the mushrooms tapas, it contains a lot of onions with potato chips and very little mushrooms (we had hard time finding them, were almost sure we got the wrong plate). Bottom line, small onion soup with some mushrooms inside. We ordered 3 plates and waited about 45 minutes to the first one. The other two arived later, aproximaly 10 minutes delay between each of then, we really don't know why. 5 minutes after we got the last plate, arround 23:00, the waiter gave is the bill and said that they are closing the kitchen, so we should pay. We waited so much time for the food and drinks and felt like kicked out...

We had a fabulous time here. Were a little worried about getting a seat without a reservation but we were in luck and got a great seat on the terrace. We were greeted with a welcome drink which was amazing and Tania took the best care of us. The drinks are well worth trying and in my opinion reasonably priced. We had an array of their tapas. The patatas being one of our favorites. The service was outstanding and everyone was very nice. Tania checked in with us and made every need happen. Would highly recommend.

Food was very tasty and came fast. Drinks were exceptional. Our waiter, Joshua was nice, attentive and paid a lot of attention to us. Music was nice, although a bit too loud if you were sat under the speakers.

This spot is perfect. It has it all. We arrived at 6pm on a Sunday night. We were the first in and got all of the attention. The restaurant has such a cozy retro vibe. The decor is stunning and promotes a sence of privacy and opulence. Faeze was our server and she was so attentive and gave great advice in relation to the cocktails. The food was sublime. Arman served the cocktails and he knows what he's doing. They were delicious. We sat directly across from where he was preparing them and when it appeared we were running low he was nearly ahead of us in prepping another. It was the perfect end to our 3 nights in Budapest. As we were leaving it was getting busy with a lovely atmosphere. Loved it.

Must try when in Budapest! We enjoyed a couple of signature cocktails to start. We had the patatas, calamari, eggplant caprese, zucchini tempura, pollo skewers, and short rib roll, holy cow! Everything was great and MORE than enough food for 2 people, even as small plates! Our server, Faeze was so sweet, and brought us a complimentary dessert to close out the dinner! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! Went on a 2 week tour of Europe and ended in Budapest. Wanted to find a nice Latin /spanish place with good music and atmosphere. This place did exactly that. We had a group of 5 women and got a reservation at 9:30/ 21:30 Food was pretty good, all is tapas and shareable food. Drinks were great too. We got a round of free welcome shots which was a plus! Our waitress Faeze was super sweet and attentive, constantly clearing our table and making sure we had everything we needed! We were also being attended by Dest/Destiny who was absolutely amazing! Loved her vibe and gave us another free round of shots since she found out we were traveling for my birthday! Such a sweetheart and also so attentive! She was so outgoing and very relatable . Place turns into a club later on with great music. Absolutely loved this place. If you’re looking for Latin/spanish tapas with good drinks and great music, than look no further!

Wow! What a little gem of a place 😀 Just visiting on a city break with my wife. The food was gorgeous (the best tapas I've ever had) and arrived really quickly. The service was spot on. We asked to move table and they sorted it straight away 👍 We really loved the ambience of this place, it has a great Latino vibe. Completely deserves the 5* imho.

Always crowded the weekend for partying, we came on a quiet Sunday night for diner. It was just amazing! The tapas are really really good, the best gazpacho I ate so far! I strongly recommand this restaurant

The food was great and much larger portions than we expected for tapas. But the service from Arman, Dan, and Arash was AMAZING! They were all so lovely and welcoming and made our night great!

The food was delicious, loved the interior design as well. However it was very loud inside- it was almost impossible to have a conversation.. (But I have to give it to them, they were playing good music at least😃) Also, some of the tables were very narrow. I would recommend ordering multiple options from the menu and sharing it - as the portions are not the biggest. The cauliflower risotto was to die for, try it- you won’t regret it!!

The music and venue looked nice and cozy, went in with my girlfriend. While holding her hand a man herrased and grabbed my girlfriend by her bum. When went complaining and telling to the security they didn't act and laughed it away. Never ever go to this place!!!

This place is amazing, recommend it 100%. The food was delicious and they served lukewadm bread (which is fantastic). The cocktails not only taste amazing, but the serving is 10/10! Our hostess was Dóri and she was very lovely and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Will be coming back very soon!

We absolutely loved eating here!!! Truly- we ordered and ate our food in the beautiful indoor outdoor patio and got complimentary drinks from the house that paired perfectly with our food!!! 🥰 Armand was our waiter and took such great care off us. We loved the food so much we got extra to take back home (SO GOOD!!!) and he made sure it was packed up properly and would be just as good at “home” (our Air BNB). Super sweet of him and genuine kindness from all the staff! Cool bathrooms are just a fun extra extra bonus too!

The food was really good and the vibes were amazing! They have their own DJ, so the music was very chill. I recommend getting one of the egg dishes, which are very huge and delicious. The service was also very good, Sol was an amazing hostess: friendly, helpful and very quick!

We went to this bar/restaurant in February 2022. I don’t usually leave any reviews but this one made us feel so good that we ought to. The cocktails are incredible and the tapas go perfectly with them. I highly recommend the tatted deer cocktail which is the best cocktail I have ever tasted. The waiters are very thoughtful and the bar has an incredible atmosphere. Don’t hesitate, if you want to pass a good night out it’s a very nice place to go to ☺️ Thank you very much for this very nice evening we passed in your establishment✨

Amazing underrated bar in Budapest. Their dishes are pretty small but they're great and tasty and their cocktails are great! Our waiter Nira was the kindest and she helped me a lot with my cocktail choice since I'm difficult with alcohol. The place is a little hot but it's a good change from the cold outside. If you get there on a weekend before 23:00 you get a free VIP pass for their party! Sadly we didn't stay for it but it's so cool that they offered. Loved this place.

Cool place to just lay back after a long day of walking and sightseeing in Budapest. Located at the beginning (or end) of the bars & pubs strip. Cocktails are nice, music is great. Our waiter was attentive and helped us with the drinks (as my wife wanted a non-alcoholic cocktail…). Considering my rule of thumb for Budapest restaurant, that whoever takes 13-15% service fee, I am deducting a star (13% service fee is included in the bill). All in all, I do recommend visiting this place!

Have to admit, not the best tapas but the service is good and the drinks are delightful. Also we received a delicious desert at the end as a gift. The music is amazing and a little too loud. I would not recommend this place for eating but 10 stars for drinks and atmosphere.

We booked Vicky Barcelona at the last minute. We weren't sure of where to go, and this seemed like a good place as any. Other reviewers had rated the place quite positively, so that was encouraging. When you arrive you will find that the place is somewhat very dark, and it needs some adjusting to. But by the time you have settled down, you are ready to have a good time. Vicky Barcelona is a Spanish themed restaurant, where the atmosphere, food, and drinks, are very much Spanish. Choosing what to have might be a struggle. Besides there being a very wide selection from where to choose, everything is very creative. And, *spoilers*, tastes heavenly! We shared 6 tapas between 2 people. It was slightly more than enough. So if you're not a big eater, 2.5 tapas per person would be enough. And to be fair, this is what the servers recommend as well. Which was a relief seeing that even the servers are more oriented towards providing the client with a good experience rather than forcing them to just spend money. Food was great, service was excellent, and you cannot go wrong with spanish themed music. The only sad part in all of this is that we will not have the opportunity to return.

Best beefsteak ever had, the most expensive dish on the menu but worth ever single penny. Ksenia was a perfect waitress and the guy at the bar was simply sensational. Live music accompanied my night, alone in Budapest, but for a moment I felt I didn’t need anyone else with me! Highly suggested (from a picky traveler). Cheers readers
