Extremely rude staff, slamming down drinks, and awful Mexican food. We ordered nachos and the staff brought us crisps and tasteless dips. We tried to return the food because we didn't receive what we expected and they refused us. The staff were clearly shouting at us in Hungarian and laughing between themselves. Worst dining experience I've ever had.

Came here more than 10 times in the last 3 years. It s been allways pleasefull place and my favourite place to have dinner when going out in Budapest. The service is fast and the owner is very kind. But the best is the food. Very well made Mexican food and for very good prices. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for Mexican food. They changed the complete restaurant recently, all is new and there is very nice places now for eating with your partner and have a relax evening.

Avoid! Didn’t feel welcome here. We ordered our food and asked to have the one entry together with the main courses (because one of us was having only the entry as a snack but wasn’t hungry for a main course) the waiter said he would give the entry before anyway even after trying to explain over and over. We took it as a misunderstanding and accepted. Later on we found out he was just rude. Guacamole was tasteless and dark, like it was getting old. Cheddar sauce was very cold and liquid while the beer was room temperature. Toilets don’t have soap (while we are mostly supposed to eat with our hands). Ladies toilet had no lock. Someone saw my mom peeing. Price is low but the portions are also small and definitely not worth it. Side salad had no sauce, vinagre or whatsoever. Everything is tasteless, the place is not cozy and the service is unfriendly. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Good tequila selections and drinks. But Not mexican authentic, you're not going to get tacos Al pastor here. Small group, we ordered quesadillas and burritos. The burrito were not wrapped. The quesadilla was chicken and mushrooms, not much taste but the highlight was the hot sauces. Cool environment

Popped in on a nacho whim! The service was fantastic, nachos not as fabulous as if have loved but the chilli came topped with a melted cheese lid - which was delicious! The home made chilli dip selection was second to none and it was so very welcoming on what was a snowy cold day.

I'm not coming back and not going to recommend this place to anyone. Food was ok. I waited 50 minutes for my OK and more like meh tacos, plus, people that came after me got their food before. I've read the reviews after ordered the food and was thinking hmm maybe give it a try as I couldn't do anything ( too late as I already ordered) lesson learned from that if I see so many bad reviews which is this please do, I won't give it a try, never and will read more review before trying any place in the future. Go somewhere else, don't waste your time and money here.

Cute bar that offers a nice selection of tequilas and mezcals. Be aware, you might leave the place being baked as hell. I know they also do food (quesadillas, nachos...), which I didn't try but seemed nice. Be sure to go downstairs. The room is more cosy and intimate. Also, the toilets are there, so yes... Easier.

Not Mexican food at all. We ordered fajitas and got burritos. With more veggies than meet. We thought it was a mistake because fajitas are not closed like burritos and they said... Yeah those are fajitas, here those are fajitas. Latin people don't even bother.

This is a great place to stop for some quick Mexican food and a margarita with a definite zing. The location is great, right next door to Szimpla and a short walk from public transport. Downstairs offers a place to drink and socialize if you're still looking for a sort of 'club' atmosphere. Personally, I just like the food!

I've seen a lot of comments here on the terrible service, but I found the staff to be friendly and we got our food quickly. The chicken tacos were tasty and filling. A nice touch was the array of hot sauces presented in a rack of test tubes. A perfectly acceptable option for late-night drunk eats (or pre-drunk eats).

Nice staff, good food, delivery of the food is a little slow (Friday, many people). (I ordered the beef&bacon burrito)
