First of all service is good, quality of food is okay, price of foods are expensive compared to other Indian restaurants. There are not so many Indian restaurants its surrounding that might be reason. There are so many Indian restaurant in the city but not particularly around this area and this place is certainly not so different from other. I give only four star because I expect more from this place which it didn’t delivered.

A fantastic little restaurant tucked away in Budapest, if you’re looking for some truly good food, Indigo is the place to go. We opted for a couple of different curries, and they were absolutely delicious. The texture of the chicken was beautiful, the sauce full of flavour, we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. The restaurant was kind enough to accommodate a special request and gave us a wonderful vegetarian thali. The lemonade is very refreshing and unique. The food is very authentic Indian and has all the right flavours and spices. It was wonderful to have a nice Indian meal while on holiday and missing home.

Staff was fantastic. We felt welcome and served just right. Portions were not big, but they were big enough. The lamb was incredibly well cooked and succulent. Naan and rice were fabulous. Unfortunately we waited for all of the food about 50-60 minutes. Hence the 4 stars. They seem to be doing takeout as well which could be harming their in house dining.

The chicken till masala along with the naans were well cooked and delicious. We tried the mango lassi and the coconut lassi, we loved the latter more. The coconut lassi had a special tanginess to it! Ah dessert! The Kulfi was simply drool worthy and the Gajar Halwa was rich with flavour and ghee! We had the best evening!
