The venue is large and unique looking. The waiter was really nice to help us choose our food. The dishes tasted fine, although portions felt uneven btwn the mains. Plating was just okay, expected a bit more since it took some while for the dishes to arrive, even tho the restaurant was mainly empty. This is not really a complaint but an other waiter was moody, making faces, walking up and down and chewing gum the whole time which was a bit unpleasant.

First off, the restaurant reception was very unwelcoming and unprofessional for no reason. The food itself is subpar, the pizza and the tiramisu were the only good things. The service is slow and the dessert took forever to come out to us. Wouldn’t come here again

Excellent food ! We ordered lasagna, grilled meat set,salad and dessert . Lasagna is so tender and creamy ! The sauce chef made is amazing. Meat was well grilled! Amazingly juicy yet a little bit salty. Even the desserts was not too sweet but quite balanced taste , wonderful dinner. We all enjoyed our food there except the service. The server who is talker and slimmer barely served us and quite aloof, that’s the reason we didn’t give a tip. But the food there is amazing fresh and juicy. We enjoyed the texture but the service

I visited this restaurant twice during my stay in Budapest. The crust is very tasty and the pizza was delicious. I used the good quality olive oil to dip the ends of the crust in and at the whole pizza myself. If I understood the waiter correctly, the chef making the pizza is from Italy. On my second trip we ordered the seafood pizza, and a ham and cheese. The white chocolate cheesecake for dessert was also fabulous.

Food was lovely. Tasted very fresh and it had a real authentic Italian feel to it. Service was quick and friendly and the price was very reasonable. Had a great atmosphere also and was quite busy the whole time we were there. Would recommend.

The pizza and profiterol was excellent! And everything else was very good too really. From appetizer till the service and vibe. It’s more on up-scale side price-wise but worth it. We had a great evening.

Lovely meal. Located near Continental hotel which is another gem. Food was very high standard Italian. We went to the higher price end of menu choices with very good Argentinian beefsteaks. Wine was a Sicilian Syrah. Unusual but nice. 62.50 per person but worth it for quality and ambiance. Will eat there again.

If you want to eat Italian food in Budapest, this is a nice place to go. We had good service (the waiters can also speak English very well) and descent food. The only thing missing is ice cream in the desert section.

Amazing food and amazing atmosphere in the restaurant itself. The pizza is very good we loved to eat here tho it was a little expensive. As a dessert I had the White Chocolate Cheesecake and it was easily one of the best dessert ever 🤤

Atmosphere is spot on. Dimmed lights, cozy, warm. Love the semi open kitchen. It makes you feel like the part of the bustling restaurant. Yet the mood is perfect for a romantic or friendly dinner. Our fish and seafood dishes were super fresh and tasty. Cooked to perfection. Fish was soft like butter. Needed more salt and seasoning though. Especially the mussels. Wine was too chilled. Didn’t like the rigatoni, it was missing all the flavors. Service is fine, typical of local restaurants but at least they trying. All in all a pleasant experience.

Following google map to find Italian restaurant and it came to my surprise that this place serves very delirious dishes. Can’t remember exactly what I ordered (probably seafood marinara) but it tasted sooooo good. The staffs were also attentive. If you’re craving for Italian food in Budapest, look no further.

3 time visitors!!! If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, this is your place. Our first visit was for dinner, greeted by a friendly staff, attentive service, exceptional food and fun atmosphere. We eyed the pizza’s during dinner and decided to return the next day for lunch….wood oven pizza did not disappoint (We recommend paring with a glass of red wine!). Subsequently we had dinner elsewhere (non-Italian) and decided during dinner to return for a bottle of wine, coffee and dessert. The restaurant was full but the owner didn’t hesitate to accommodate us. Thank you for a fantastic experience in Budapest - we will definitely be back to this restaurant!! Grazie Mille!!

I first came here in July of 2019…it was so amazing that on the evening of my first trip back this is the first restaurant my wife requested…that’s how amazing it is…I recommend the homemade parpadelle and wild boar, spectacular…and of course the wood fired pizza will make you believe you are in Italy and not Budapest.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We were in Budapest for 5 nights and we ate here for 2 of them. Came on our first night and shared the bruschetta to start, then we both have pasta. Then we came back a few days later for my birthday evening meal out, we shared the mussels to start and they were divine, then my partner had a delicious risotto and I had the best pasta I've ever had in my life - tomato spaghetti with buratta on top, absolutely beautiful. The service was really great, atmosphere lovely and the prices very reasonable.

A beautiful venue that hosts a truly Italian experience. The service is great and helpful. Waiters help you choose meals that suit your appetite. We had the carbonara spaghetti and the ham rocket white pizza, which is a pizza without the tomato basting. The food was fresh and filling. We finished with a tasteful cheese cake with a fruits of the forest sauce. It was great all round a worth the visit.

Popped in on walk back to apartment about 17:00 and was very quiet but soon started to fill up and later customers were having to be turned away. We had the best Italian meal ever, a pizza starter to share and a main course each and a couple of drinks each about £70 in total but we'll worth every penny.

Amazing food. Enormous slices of salmon, reminded me more of salmon sashimi than carpaccio. Flavourful sauce on delicious moist buffalo mozzarella bruschetta. Tasty baked seafood, the mussels were particularly fresh and flavourful. Also rustic decorations, brick vaulted ceiling and low false roof over the pizza oven area.

Never disappointed! We were here four years ago and committed to return if given the chance. Our return visit did not disappoint. Food, service and care remains a mainstay and we’re thrilled we could once again enjoy a dining experience at Il Terzo Cerchio!

This is a must for the best Italian food in Budapest! The carbonara was 5/5 and the tiramisu was 6/5 if that was possible! Almost ordered a second but I was too full! The waiter on the door was a bit lazy and had his pants on show but our actual server was very good and always busy, highly recommend for good, authentic, Italian food.

Food was amazing! Reasonably priced as well for the quality, servers were very attentive and got us everything we needed. Tried to book a reservation via website however didn’t get a reply, luckily there was a few tables left when we arrived. Highly recommend.

We came to this restaurant for dinner and were absolutely lucky to get a table without reservation on Saturday evening. The food was served in amazing way, the taste of our meal was divine. The restaurant is located not far from Ruins Bar, and within walking distance from Metro Astoria.

Outstanding! We only discovered this place our last night in Budapest, sadly, otherwise we would have gone back for more! The food was delicious, beginning to end. We were leery about finding really good fish/seafood in landlocked Budapest but wow it was amazing the fish was cooked to perfection!

My husband and I spent a weekend in Budapest. Next to our hotel, we discovered this Italian restaurant. We hadn't booked and it was full of people, we returned half an hour later as they advised us and they made us find a table ready. Excellent Italian restaurant in the center of Budapest. The pizza is made with a wood oven and the dough is delicious. The pasta is also very good. The place has a special charm. The service is perfect. For desserts we ordered tiramisu, the best I've ever tasted. A place to repeat. Congratulations

The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. I had a caprese salad and a pizza Funghi with additional onions. Food was good, but not exceptional in my opinion. The waiters were very courteous and friendly during my visit.

Passed by. Popped in. Honestly had the best pizza in 2 years, since I was in Naples. Wine was fantastic too. Lovely staff . 5 stars all around .

They brought an Italian piece and they put it on a corner street in Budapest. Waiters are incredibly kind and they speak all languages you can imagine. We took a pizza Il Terzo and the pasta with parmesan sauce. They were excellent. But Tiramissu at the end was from another planet. Price is not cheap but it is worth to pay the quality and the way they welcome you. I will be back.

We arrived in Budapest on Wed night, so it was Thursday by the time we found our bearings. Walked by the restaurant and seen a crowd in it and looked pretty nice so we decided to book for the following night as it was booked in the night in question. When I say that the moment we walked in that the atmosphere was fantastic and we knew already that we were in for an experience. The waiters were so so friendly and this just made us feel welcome. We ordered starters and I have to say it was one of the nicest we ever had... Every little flavour was coming through. Our main course was sublime... I'm sorry I don't have photos of main course which was the chicken, but it was so delicious it didn't last long... 😊 P.S if going to Budapest, stay in The Continental Hotel... We were walking in the neighborhood and passed by. The place was full which it’s always a good sign. We arrived without a reservation on a Saturday night and were immediately greeted with a smile and they were able to accommodate us in the lower level. The ambiance was great. The food and service were the highlight as it should be. The wine selection was ample and desserts were scrumptious. A must go if you want to get away from Hungarian food for a bit.

An amazing food, great service and absolutely fantastic atmosphere. The local wine was sooo good. If you are looking for a good and special Italian restaurant, give yourself a present and go to eat in this fabulous restaurant!

Not recommended. We were a family of 4 members. We arrived at 14:42hr. We ordered antipasti and four main dishes. It took 17 minutes for bringing the antipasti to the table and 63 minutes to bring the four main dishes. No excuses because the restaurant was EMPTY. The raviolis nero were overcooked. Unpleasantly presented. Bread was also very disappointing. Poor quality.

Nice italian restaurant in Budapest old town, the location, food and decoration were lovely. It is not the cheapest Italian restaurant but it is very tasty. One improvement point is that the spicy oil was not so spicy. But the pizza was great.

The dough of the pizza is good, a bit crispy and airy (neapolitan style pizza). The tomato sauce and mozzarella is nothing special and could be improved. The salami is good, but there is better italian salami in Budapest. Nice interior and fast service.

The food here is absolutely great! The staff is also very nice, so I highly recommend this place! I had the pasta with sausage, black truffle and pecorino sauce, it was excellent! Also, I am addicted with their almond semifreddo desert ♥️

Pizza is very nice, but how on earth can you have a German beer “Dortmund” in an Italian restaurant?!? Service was not as expected, that’s why 3 star. But I will go back.

Only came here because our hotel was across the street from here. This was be perfect choice let me tell you and there was no problem that we had no reservation. Service was fair, but the pizza was so so good. The crust is the perfect combination of crispy and airy. The whole family enjoyed it!

Very good and high quality restaurant. The food was amazing and the waiters very nice. We ate pasta and ordered a bottle of wine - great choice for a romantic dinner night. I can definately reccomend the place. Only thing: they could have brought the wine a little bit earlier to the table (we got it with our main course). All in all: wonderful restaurant.
