I was there for the first time at an annual flavone conference. Everything was perfectly organized and honestly the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable. The conference hall is remarkable and very impressive. The room had an elegant interior design with classic elements, it was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a gorgeous view of the rest of the building from our window. The lunch food was perfect, the service too. The gala dinner was very well organized and we all left with amazing memories. Again the menu was varied and delicious. I am very satisfied with my stay there. I would happily recommend to my friends and visit again!

Perfect location, the spa truly is a highlight. Breakfast service is extensive, staff is quick to cater to your requests, and the Executive Club is well worth the money. Beautiful interior and exterior, and all in all amazing bang for your buck in Budapest.

We really loved staying in your hotel with our family. We were happy about the little garden next the apartment where our dogs could enjoy their freedom 🐶! TOP service. The staff is not only professional but caring. They are kind and open, taking care of you all the way… Thank you for everything.

A Grand Budapest Experience at Corinthia Budapest I recently had the pleasure of staying at Corinthia Budapest, a hotel with a fascinating connection to the acclaimed film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. As a fan of Wes Anderson's work, I was intrigued to discover the hotel's rich history and its involvement in the film's production. In 2012, Wes Anderson and his team visited Corinthia Hotel Budapest, immersing themselves in its archive materials. This encounter laid the foundation for Anderson's vision, which eventually materialized into the captivating world of The Grand Budapest Hotel. It's incredible to think that the hotel's atmosphere and charm influenced the creation of such a visually stunning and nostalgic film. Upon the film's release in 2014, Corinthia Budapest became a hub of activity, welcoming press and guests eager to experience the magic behind the scenes. During my stay, the hotel paid homage to its own history, celebrating its role in the film and showcasing the exceptional life of a concierge. This added layer of storytelling made my experience all the more enchanting, allowing me to connect with the film's themes of a bygone era and Hollywood's infatuation with Budapest's picturesque allure. Beyond its cinematic connection, Corinthia Budapest exceeded my expectations as a luxury hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The elegant interior design effortlessly blended classic elements with modern touches, creating an ambiance that felt both opulent and welcoming. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and provided a delightful view of the city. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the plush bedding to the luxurious bath amenities. Every aspect of my accommodation exuded sophistication and comfort. The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The spa and wellness facilities provided a serene retreat from the bustling city, offering a range of treatments and relaxation options. The dining options were exceptional, with a variety of restaurants and bars serving delectable cuisine and indulgent cocktails. While Corinthia Budapest embraces its ties to The Grand Budapest Hotel, it stands firmly on its own as a world-class hotel destination. Its commitment to exceptional service, exquisite design, and attention to detail make it a truly memorable place to stay. Whether you're a film enthusiast or simply seeking a luxurious and immersive experience in Budapest, Corinthia Budapest is an excellent choice. Overall, my stay at Corinthia Budapest was an enchanting journey into the golden age of hospitality. The hotel's connection to The Grand Budapest Hotel added a layer of intrigue and nostalgia, while its exceptional service and luxurious amenities made it a standout destination. I highly recommend experiencing this unique blend of history, elegance, and cinematic charm.

Pros: beautiful lobby, delicious breakfast and dessert. friendly and attentive staff Cons: No toiletries, which is silly for 5 star hotel standard. I stayed for 10 days and I had to call receptionist/housekeeping to provide me with soap shampoo toothbrush. When I arrived on the 1st day there were no toothbrush. And it keeps repeating for the next consecutive 5 days..not a nice experience especially after you had a long day.

Clean, excellent dining- food was first class. Pure perfection. Excellent service, It was a magical experience with my mom and now I have wonderful memories to look back on. Budapest is an energetic, beautiful, historically significant, enchanted city. The river cruise at night on the Danube was just magnificent. I’d go back again if I had the opportunity. Just fabulous. Friendly people. So much to see and do. Thank you so much for your hospitality and warmth. Very pleasant stay. 😊

The Corinthia Spa is a luxurious experience for those that want to enjoy a wellness day in central Budapest. The music of the water flowing and the magnificent glass ceiling are impressive. The steam room, saunas, and changing lockers are elegant and spotless. The aroma of the resting area is calming and delicate. If you couldn't bring your favorite lotions, the boutique has it all in travel-sizes too. Guests follow etiquette which is what separates this location to less exclusive spas in the city. The admission fee is budget-friendly if you consider the privacy and tranquility. The access is from a main street, or you can use a dedicated elevator if you are staying at the hotel. People with limited mobility have extra accessibility help. Keep in mind that some hotel rates include the Spa entrance fee. Hotel and spa staff are multilingual, cordial and ready to make your stay memorable. The hotel manager, Mr. István , said it would be perfect, and it was. I hope I can return to this hotel in my next visit and repeat the exquisite breakfast feast again.

The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast buffet. It is probably the best hotel breakfast buffet that I have ever had. They have everything you could possibly want from a full English breakfast or a European style continental breakfast to Korean kimbap. The spa is a pool, hot tub, and two saunas. It is open most of the day. The staff is very nice although the rooms are a bit smaller and less luxurious than other 5 star hotels. The rooms are well maintained but look more like 4 star hotel rooms. The price is fair for what you get. I chose this hotel because it is historic. It has a pretty lobby with fresh flowers

we had an exceptional stay. The hotel is very centrally located. The tram right in front of the door lets you reach every corner of the city in a short time. the rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are functional and appropriate to the category of the hotel. The SPA is amazing. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent breakfast buffet and the service. Here we would like to mention Maritza from the service and Gemma from the live cooking. They both love their job and know how to please their guests. we would love to come back.

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, right on the edge of the famous Budapest Ghetto. Nice quiet spacey rooms, excellent breakfast (except for the staff, which acts as typical East Europeans, i.e. just some of them really like their work...). Quite huge wellness area with big swimming pool. Convenient parking in own parking house behind the hotel.

Hotel is beautiful. Centrally located. Room was nice. Safe and light fixture, reading light, above the bed were broken but maintenance came up and fixed them once notified. Le Bar had great drinks and service. The included breakfast was wonderful. We did not get to enjoy breakfast the 2nd day because we left very early in the morning for the airport. I felt that the hotel should have offered us a snack to take with us! Other hotels that we had stayed at in the past, have offered a light breakfast/snack to go. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again!

The Corinthia Budapest Hotel is a beautiful piece of history with many pleasant aspects. Upon check-in, we were kindly greeted and upgraded to a better room. The room was nicely cleaned and organized. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work in our room, causing it to feel like a sauna. Luckily we were given a fan to ease the pain. Additionally, the minibar was not appropriately restocked, as many items were missing. The spa experience was excellent as we went there daily. Despite an early mistake in our booking information, the spa staff solved the problem. The spa staff was beyond friendly and welcoming on every visit we made. The various options of spa amenities made our trip relaxing. Checking out was pretty easy and quick. Unfortunately, we received no help with our luggage up or down the stairs as the bellpersons seemed absent. Although the times they were present, they opened the door for us when leaving and returning every single time.

The hotel is really a five star hotel with big comfortable rooms and nice architecture inside the hotel. The lobby is very nice. Breakfast is outstanding. Staff are nice and friendly.

Everything was perfect but the breakfast at the Corinthia was exceptionally good. Wide variety, tasty dishes, great pastries and more. We also enjoyed the executive lounge- a great place to sit down and relax while snacking on delicious food. Fitness room was well equipped. To summarize: great hotel which I would definitely recommend.

This hotel was absolutely stunning and magical. I stayed here for two nights and the service and staff were extremely professional and lovely. The Royal Spa was the best I have seen and experienced to date. It was clean, relaxing and the staff at the spa were 10/10. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, a good selection of food and beverages. I would highly recommend staying here or experiencing the Royal Spa. I would go back to Budapest for the Spa.

Amazing hotel! We travel a lot around the world, and we've been to a lot of hotels, but we haven't been to a great hotel like this yet. First, all the hotel staff members, without exception, are charming, kind, smiling all the time, and have a very high sense of service. In addition, the hotel is very pampering, and gives you the feeling that you are its most important guest. Before we arrived, we informed the hotel that we were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel gifted us a bottle of champagne with a magnificent cake. The hotel's spa is also very high quality and pampering. Do not miss it! It makes staying at the hotel a much more enjoyable experience. And finally the breakfast - wow! It has everything (including an open kitchen where you can ask for any omelet you want), and everything is really delicious!

Such a beautiful hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights in the Christmas break with my partner. It was lovely all over. Staff polite and friendly and the spa facilities were amazing. So relaxing. I will definitely come back when i visit Budapest.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful spa and nice facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are perfectly clean. The spa is a gem and perfect for relaxation and downtime. The biggest thanks however goes to the staff. Everyone was kind, considerate, and friendly, especially Mr. Mate. We will certainly come back.

We had a great stay here. Room was very large, bed was very comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. In the center of the city, close to everything, and very friendly and welcoming. It was so nice to come back late at night to this large, bright foyer. They offered to print out documents for free for us, for example. We walked to the bus to the airport.

This was our first time staying at a Corinthia hotel and honestly the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay for our anniversary. The hotel arranged for a delicious chocolate cheesecake with champagne - it was such a nice surprise and I've not had a hotel go this far in terms of great service. The room had an elegant interior design with classic elements, it was very spacious and clean. We did notice some small wear and tear of the room but the bed was very comfortable and we had a gorgeous view of the rest of the building from our window. The hotel's facilities were also very good - with an impressive gym and spa. Access to the Royal Spa was included in our room rate and provided a relaxing and serene experience. It was one of the best spas I've ever been to. There were x2 saunas, x2 jacuzzi, a beautiful massive swimming pool, steam room and treatments rooms. We had a couple's massage and it was a very romantic relaxing moment - the hot stones massage was very thorough and exhilarating. Breakfast was also really good at this hotel - the scrambled eggs were silky and the service was excellent. You are offered sparkling wine, newspaper, drink refills. The hotel was also very centrally located and near to everywhere we wanted to explore in Budapest. I would stay at this hotel again - it was such a nice experience and I will miss the Royal Spa.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Budapest. Checking in and out was effortless and very easy thanks to their dutiful staff. The spa is very well kept and a very good standard, as is their food and restaurants. They were very kind, gifting myself and my partner a full cake and a glass of wine as they knew it was my birthday during my stay. I would like to express my gratitude for the staff of the Corinthia for making my birthday that more special. The only downside was that the room got rather warm and with our window facing the indoor courtyard which make it difficult to regulate temperature. Other than this our stay was flawless

Perfect Hotel, nice rooms, clean. Service is very attentive. Very nice building. Room service is fast and quality of food is high. Hotel management Lars and team andsales team all perfect! Only you need more bellboys outside and maybe a shop inside.

Superb hotel. Clean rooms, (mostly as there were a few stains on carpet) Great service all around. Breakfast had a great fresh selection of many typical European breakfast bars. Don’t forget to visit the spa. Repeat. Visit the spa… it will make you feel great. A visit to the Steam room, then the cool down showers (a series of three timed cool down sequenced showers you walk through) is super cool, the hot tub and sauna are clean and worth the time for a soak. Only complaint, is we were 5 th floor and far away from lifts. We did find the spa lift the last day. Viking folks…… get your FREE token for spa. Ask Viking.

Absolutelly fabulous hotel. We spent two wonderful night, having a pleasure to stay also in Royal spa. The breakfast is amazing, executive lounge 5*. Corinthia Budapest is one of the best hotels we have ever visited

One of, if not the best hotel I have stayed in. I travel quiet a bit, so this observation really speaks highly of the caliber and standards of the staff, operations, customer service, and hospitality. Excellent experience on every level.

Beautiful building, nicely decorated for Christmas, at a good location. Nice room, bath and shower in the bathroom. Although the pillows were very thin, the bed was very comfortable (or I was very tired after travelling and visiting! 😊) but I slept quite well. However, the room was too hot (26°), and we couldn't manage to lower the temperature or switch it off, so we had to open the window. The breakfast was good and with great variety. Although I bought a swimming suit precisely for the spa (because I hadn't brought any), we didn't use the spa, a shame because we heard it is good. It seemed overrated: 30€ per person and per day, even though you are a guest from the hotel. We were visiting the city, so maybe we had like a bit of time in the evening so not worth it to pay the daily fare; and also the spa was closing too early.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We decided to spend the New Year here and we truly had a magical experience. They took good care of us! Agoda botch the reservation and didn't send it to them. I know this cause on the same trip it appended twice so I knew it wasn't Corinthia's fault. They went the extra mile to iron everything out an take care of the problem for us!

We choose Corinthia for our Big Day and luckily we choose right! Huge thanks for the two key persons: Szilvia Joó and Miklós Szekeres! Excellent organizational skills, they really care about what the customer needs from the beginning till the very end. Amazing kitchen team. Big thanks for the Chef and Pastry Chef for the very tasty well presented dishes. Kind and professional waitstaff. And of course the building and the gorgeous ballroom - you cannot find nicer in Budapest! Definitely a top wedding place!

Hotel was very good. Good infrastructure. It would have been a five star rating if not for the climate control in the room. It was too warm and even after complaining it wasn’t rectified. May be next time . I still loved the hotel and it wasn’t my first visit

Large, classic luxury hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Welcoming bar. Good live jazz at night.. But, not ideally situated for those who want to walk out the front door and explore. Not awful, but any means, but the most interesting areas of Budapest (for this American traveler) are a little distant by foot. There is a trolley stop nearby, if you're an "among the regular people" sort of person.

Staff member walked in on us in bed before 9am, even though do not disturb sign was on door. Mattress was done - sinking in the middle. Reception staff had a poor unwelcoming attitude. While having breakfast (on a Sunday) we were asked to finish up and get out of there at 10:34 when service supposedly ends at 11.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. I’ve stayed here 3 times a few years apart over the festive periods. The Christmas feasts are amazing, and the daily breakfasts are incredible. Staff are friendly and helpful. The spa is little but pretty (but for the best spa experience in Budapest head to one of the thermal baths).

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. What more can I say? The rooms are fabulous, the spa pool is beyond fabulous, the entrance hall is out of the world and the dinning atrium is superb. I've been in less than 12 hours and already been sent a survey asking if there's anything else they can do to make the stay better. Love this place already.

Beautiful 5 star hotel in the heart of Budapest. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping and transportation. 3 blocks from the hop on hop off bus that will take you to all the major sightseeing areas. Highly recommend the bus and its only a 10 minute walk to stop number 8. The breakfast is incredible and the room service was great. Great food and arrived hot. If we visit Budapest again it will be at the Corinthia.

This is a very beautiful hotel/resort. The room is very nice with plenty of space. The bathroom is large with both a bath tub and a shower. There are two closets, a desk, a couch and coffee table and a king-sized bed. The room service is very nice. They are very responsive. The food is extremely delicious and the presentation is beautiful. One lunch I asked for ice cream, it wasn't on the menu but they found some and made my request a reality. I speak English and fortunately their staff speaks very good English. I am super impressed with this hotel/resort and highly recommend it. If you speak English, please know that they will take very good care of you here.

What a great hotel. I can’t say enough about how friendly and professional the staff is. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant, caviar and bull, was the best restaurant we went to and the spa was top notch. Recommend 10/10. Thank you for a memorable stay in Budapest

We stayed at the Corinthia Hotel on the front end of a Viking River Cruise in April 2022. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was superb, the room very nice and the staff and service was exceptional. It is conveniently located. I recommend it highly.

Toilet was dirty from previous guest in the room and not cleaned well. Apart from this, the bedroom was fine, breakfast was rich with cheese, pancakes, eggs, honey. Be careful for your room view (it can be interior to the hotel corridor or exterior to outside)

The hotel is beautiful and right in the heart of Budapest. It is a walking distance from most tourist facilities, and easy access to the public transport facilities. The rooms are very spacious and their complimentary breakfast is great. The hotel staff are helpful and make the stay comfortable. The cleaning stuff could improve on the their service, as it seemed that they rushed through the room without paying my attention. You could also see where they skimmed through. Overall, a beautiful hotel with friendly staff.

5 star decorated large oversized rooms. Unbelievable the style n decor and size. NOT ON THE RIVER though. Seems rooms get smaller in hotels if on the water. Mid stay update: Was told No Hungarian drink quality Tokaj on premises- very disappointing for stature of this hotel. Upholstery in common areas stained in some locations. Unacceptable in hotel of this stature. Best breakfast of any hotel. Variety n service the best. Lots of in training personnel in hotel--somewhat expected in all service industries.

Cool hotel with a nice dining hall. The breakfast here was quite fun! A lot of choices and they even serve you champagne for breakfast. At night there is live music until 10pm (or 11pm). Had a bit of an issue with AC, but it didn't bother us so much at night.

What can I say, as you set your foot in the hotel you will fall in love with it, beautiful old building and spectacular design. Staff is attentive and friendly, always happy to help. The breakfast is worth every penny, the pastries are fab! Coffee is excellent the only thing i would change would be bacon, it was hard and over cooked, but I am being picky. My 3rd stay here and I will be back 100%.
