We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This review highlights the hotel’s outstanding services and amenities that made our stay memorable. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were delighted that handing over our car for parking was quick and efficient. The valet service was meticulous and ensured our vehicle was well cared for during our stay. It was a great start to our visit, setting the tone for what was to come. The check-in process was swift and hassle-free. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease. Within minutes, we were in our room, taken aback by its beauty and impeccable condition. The room had been tastefully decorated and appeared to have been recently refurbished. It was evident that the space corresponds to the highest standards. The room was not only aesthetically pleasing but also excellently equipped. From the comfortable bedding to the modern amenities, everything was top-notch. The flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, and a well-stocked minibar made our stay convenient. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as a work desk, which was ideal for a brief work session during our trip. The housekeeping service was exceptional. Every day, our room was thoroughly cleaned, and the housekeeping staff paid keen attention to detail. Returning to a pristine and tidy room after a day of exploration was a delight. The hotel facilities were superb and catered to every need. As our stay ended, the check-out process was just as seamless as the check-in. The efficient hotel staff ensured a smooth departure, making us feel valued as guests. In conclusion, our time at the Hotel was beyond compare. From the swift and careful valet service to the efficient check-in, the beautiful and well-maintained room, the excellent amenities, and the flawless check-out process, every aspect of our stay was superb. We wholeheartedly recommend the Hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

One of my favourite hotels ever! The service is impeccable! Every member of staff I interacted with or walked passed was friendly and happy. The rooms were lovely, clean, big and well kitted out (I love the Chromecast on the TV, it's very helpful). Breakfast was very well managed and was delicious! The hotel bar is very well stocked and a lovely environment too. There's a music concert on Saturday nights which is a great touch!

Fantastic stay from the first entry till check out. Super-friendly and extraordinary service. Rooms in perfect conditions. The hotel appeals to all senses - at every place in the hotel is something new to discover, great art, fine music and different olfactory experiences. Don't miss a visit at Nobu - great place to enjoy a fantastic 8 course Japanese dinner - great interpreted. Perfect recommendations from super-friendly staff - a fantastic place to stay and enjoy in relaxed athmosphere. Thanks for that great experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed 2 weeks in Hungary in a beautiful places. Kempinski was undoubtedly the best hotel we stayed at. We ordered a transportation from the airport, the driver didn't show up. The hotel take responsibility, we appreciate it. The rooms were cleaned 2 times a day, each tile there were new bottles of water. Breakfast was fantastic, including "super food" staff. The team is very helpful and nice. Location is great.

The place is nice but the staff isn't really kind and helpful. You get much better services at other hotels.

Beautiful hotel smack bang in the middle of Budapest. Decent spa & gym facilities. Rooms were smaller than expected, but great quality & all that was required for a City Break!

We got a quick check-in and were able to go up to our rooms in no time. We’re a family of 5, and 3 of us got a big room, the other 2 a smaller one. I stayed in the small room so I’m not sure how the big room was like, but that’s not what matters most. It’s my experience that matters, so we might as well go on. The bathroom was amazing, nicely sorted and clean. We also get free water bottles every day to drink from to keep us hydrated. We also had a tiny fridge with Pringles and a few other snacks. The breakfast place inside it has really great food and it’s a good way to start your day. The main entrance is in front of a giant park while the rear entrance is on the fashion street. The main and rear entrances are both close to many nice restaurants. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the spa. It’s hot but not too hot and you can relax in the pool right next to it with the jets blowing in the water. I could also keep talking about the elevator’s great appearance and the lovely airflow, but there’s just so many things that I can write about before my arms go literally numb. You will love this place. From my experience, this is the best hotel in all of Budapest. Much love from Romania ❤️

Happy beyond words. We have had our anniversary celebration in Budapest and we chose Kempinski. As it was a surprise for my wife I told hotel in advance that we have a special occasion. Staff did all they could and beyond to make us happy. Room was amazing and comfy. We ordered breakfast in the room and felt like royalty. Spa is rather small and basic, but still clean and properly equipped. Location is superb. Would stay again and certainly recommend.

Corvinus Kempinsky is a great modern hotel perfectly located in the Buda city centre. We just spent 2 nights celebrating my wife’s birthday and everyone was professional and kind: thanks to the “lady in red” and all the staff for the surprise birthday cake! We had a large room with a great view the Basilica and the park The breakfast buffet has a fantastic selection of high quality selection of food for anyone’s taste. Lastly don’t miss a visit to the bar for the good night drink. This superbly managed Grand Hotel is highly recommended to anyone who is going to visit Budapest; we’ll surely come back next year.

We stayed here for three nights and had a great time. The hotel is perfectly located in the downtown area, near to lots of good restaurants and all the attractions. You can walk to most of the city from here. The coffee shop is a nice touch, the drinks in the bar are great, and the food in the bistro made for a good lunch. The rooms are a good size and very clean. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and could not do enough to make our stay an enjoyable one. It’s really hard to fault this place, and when we return to Budapest we will be going back for sure.

5 stars for Kempinski staff! From the bellboy, hosts at the reception desk, to the breakfast, living room, spa, housekeeping and the Bar, everyone smiling and eager to provide excellent service. This creates a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. The variety at the breakfast is amazing with lots of healthy choices. The location is very convenient at the metro hub in the center of the city. Many thanks for this wonderfull experience!

A very good hotel in Budapest city. The Budapest Ferris Wheel and Fashion Street are nearby. The toilet is clean and nice, and there is a waiting area, as well as a shoe cleaning machine. The wifi connection is very fast and easy to connect.

Pay Attention to this Particular Issue - the Air Conditioning is insufficient if you like to sleep at less than 22 Deg C. This hotel has it all - great location, comfortable, clean rooms, and a staff that is focused on amazing service. However, the rooms could not cool to below 22 Deg. C. (71.6 Deg. F). I called down for engineering to help with this issue, and it was stated that this is the minimum that the room will cool to. I was hot throughout the night, and changed hotels the next day to a hotel that cooled the rooms to 19 Deg C. I cannot sleep in a 22 Deg C Room. I asked for a fan which was delivered, but still, should you have to have a fan in a hotel of this caliber? I appreciate all of the great things the Grand Kempinski offers the traveler. It is clean, well appointed, and has terrific people, but if the rooms cannot be cool enough to sleep comfortably, then what is the point of all of these other services? Fix the A/C so the rooms can be cooled, and I will be back as soon as possible.

I really enjoyed my time at the Kempinski. From check in to housekeeping to the bell hop the staff is top notch. The location couldn't be better and within walking to distance to most attractions. I will stay again next time I come to Budapest.

So far my favourite hotel in Budapest. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The welcoming dessert and the constant supply of complimentary water made my stay even more pleasant.

Beautiful. Except the valet. He told us to leave even though we only stopped the car 10 seconds for someone to come and we clearly told him that we will be gone in a few seconds while literally standing in the car and being able to leave instantly. And also he told us to park “in the middle of the street”.

Kempinski Corvinus Budapest was seriously one of the nicest hotel stays I have ever had. The staff, the location, the rooms, the amenities; all were exceptional. I would go back in a heartbeat. The restaurants in the hotel are also great not only because of the staff, but because if you don't feel like adventuring for a meal, there are multiple options right there for you that are all different. The food was great and they have local beers. The spa is another amazing feature of the hotel and makes a busy vacation feel very restful. Hope to stay again!

My only complaint is the air conditioning in the room is very lacking. The thermostat let’s you adjust it +\- 3c but let me assure you it doesn’t do anything. I stayed here for 5 nights and the room was around 23-24.5c the entire stay and opening window doesn’t help. There was nothing the staff could do. Otherwise it was a nice stay but if you need a colder nights sleep I’d recommend another hotel.

The location is very good, breakfast satisfactory, very clean and the staff very poletly. For that which come with the car, parking is very convenient, big and direct acces to the lobby. Nevertheless the hotel looks a little bit outdated, needs some rejuvenation in my opinion. Another observation: no one was wearing a mask in the hotel or restaurant. But all in all it was a nice experience.

I had a really bad experience with this hotel. I booked a room through Booking.com and a few days before the stay I was asked to give my credit card details on some random website I have never heard of (saferpay?). They said that they are unable to process credit card transactions through any other means. I told them that they already have my credit card information through Booking.com, but they said that due to high risk of credit card fraud I have to give my credit card information on some random website as it's more secure that way(?!). I asked them to cancel the booking which they promptly did and then, after the cancellation, they started arguing with me that it's a normal procedure and it's not a "random website" but that it belongs to the hotel (why would they use saferpay instead of the hotel website then?). It all seems like some kind of an elaborate way to get my credit card information for some other purpose. In any case the interaction was extremely weird and hostile. I just booked a different hotel instead.

Fancy and staff very helpful. Worth the ticket price and close to a bunch of things. Lots of high rollers but the staff and the amenities are the highlight, specially the great cappuccino from the coffee store on the lobby

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Very convenient being in the center. Large and clean rooms, very polite staff and excellent breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a few days in that beautiful city that is Budapest

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I travel a lot and always stay at the best hotels. I read the reviews and thought this one would be the same. I was tired from the road, but I just woke up from incredibly loud construction noise above my room. None of the staff warned me about the construction, even though I rented the hotel for two days and left good tips. The noise is incredibly loud, they are continuously drilling. Moreover, my partner and I stayed in a deluxe room together, but they only brought gels and shampoos for one. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. I won't make this mistake again and recommend everyone reading this message to note that this hotel is five stars only in price. In terms of quality and level of customer service, it barely earns one star.

We joined colleagues, who keep staying in the Kempinski, whenever they are in Budapest. Excellent meeting room facilities with first class service. It's definitely not a good idea to think about starting a diat, before you saw this awesome breakfast. Next time, when I'll be back to Budapest: that's my place!

  • 3/5 Igor V. 1 year ago on Google
The location is great, the staff very friendly. Our room was not well cleaned, we heard a lot of noise through the windows (courtyard view rooms should be better) at night and the view was at an old ruined building. The breakfast in the Es Bistro restaurant is not worthy of a five star hotel. Overall this is a solid three star hotel in the city center, if you prepare youself for that then you ll be ok, but do not expect a five star hotel experience.

  • 4/5 Dana B. 1 year ago on Google
It is a good hotel with location being the number one advantage. I will say that for a Kempinsky, the experience was way less than I expected. They told us they were upgrading us for our anniversary (which they didn’t have to) but the room was exactly what I booked and paid for. The beddings were dirty and might I say, when you pay almost 250 euros a night, you expect a softer toilet paper and not the cardboard they use. They send you an email mid stay to which I responded and also went down to reception to ask about all this. All they said is “we are very sorry”. Again, overall good but for that price, not so much.

Hotel is beautiful, on a great location. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. The cleaning staff is wonderful and they really made sure, that we had a great stay and we felt comfortable in our room. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. At the hotel, each of your guests feels special and welcome. We had a great experience and a first class stay and will definitely be back.

It is impossible to find a flaw for this hotel. I love everything about it! Rooms are clean and a view is amazing! Room is cleaned twice a day and complementary watter is provided both times. Food is excellent, for breakfast and in the restaurant afterwards! Most polite workers I have encountered! I strongly recommend it!

My stay was excellent. All staff were friendly, my room was in excellent condition, and the concierge was helpful. My only suggestion to the hotel is that given that the hotel restaurant, Nobu, can can quite crowded, priority reservations should be offered to hotel guests. I have stayed in hundreds of five-star hotels and the vast majority of them offer priority reservations in the hotel restaurant or even priority tables set aside for hotel guests with no reservation. Otherwise, my stay was perfect and I will highly consider returning to Kempinski the next time I am in Budapest.

  • 1/5 Robert K. 1 year ago on Google
Dark. Dingy. Rude staff. Outdated hotel. There are so many reasons why you should not stay here. The truth? This is not a real 5-star hotel. In a 5 star hotel you get great service. Not here. They don’t care about customers. Absolutely not one bit. I would highly suggest going next door to the Ritz Carlton Budapest Hotel. It’s literally night and day. There you will get treated like royalty. Not here. This place is trash.

I attended here a conference. Everything was absolutely OK. If you want to park your car in the garage, check the entrance sizes. I could not go down with my Land Rover - although this wasn't a surprise :) .

Fantastic "Pest" location for shopping, walking, dining opportunities. The ÉS restaurant in the hotel was our repeat choice for breakfasts and dinners, in part due to superior service from Ana and Victor and other staff. Restful room. Super easy walking access to the Danube for evening tours. The concierge staff seemed to be Always Available, and Always Helpful in finding city delights such as the Light Art Museum.

For maximum luxury stay at the Kempinsky, Vienna. Every detail designed for comfort and beauty in this former city palace. Gorgeous lobby, lovely breakfast buffet. Worth the price.

Great spot in the city center for work and catching up with colleagues. Rooms are spacious enough to use as an office, a few great restaurants/bars right at the hotel (so other colleagues and friends will come over to YOU!), other common hotels are close by so easy to meet everyone (subway station is right by as well). Service is great and very friendly - definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this hotel but I was left very disappointed. The lobby area is beautiful, the outdoor bar patio is also a great way to grab a drink. However, a few things disappointed me. The standard room was very outdated, the room view was atrocious, infront of a construction site. The service not so good, I requested a toothbrush kit and he said "come to the reception and grab it". What? This is Kempinski, where is the service? The staff need to be more enthusiastic about their work and job, and I feel like the overall hotel lacks soul and purpose. For the price that I paid, I expected more luxury and better attention to customer service (none of which I got). Next time I'm in Budapest I will probably stay at Matild or Clark hotel. The location was great, you are next to a busy park and fashion street, and the bars/restaurants aren't too far away either.

Amazing hotel! The staff is super friendly, they really made sure we were satisfied and paid a lot of attention to details to the point that they replaced our water bottles each time we finished the last ones and the room was tidied up each time we came back to the room even in the afternoon. We ordered room service for breakfast which was great, and had the breakfast buffet on another day, which was also really good. Very very recommended!

Great location. Beautiful architecture, beautiful interior. Breakfast was included in my room fee. Great variety of food from A to Z. I never seen a buffet like Kempinski has. Enormous, and everything is fresh, well prepared. Employees go the extra mile to satisfy the customers with a great big smile. Lobby, and the coffee shop is comfortable to receive guests, or just to chill out.
