Reading the reviews, I expected something else. The location is great and so is the lobby. But the rooms are with the windows inside the courtyard, no view. Rather cheaply decorated. No headshower or conditioner after shampoo. Bed quality just average. The staff was very nice and the breakfast were rather limited but good. Update: Having read the answer to my feedback, I downgraded my opinion since there was no self reflection whatsoever, just self praise. Not the right attitude.

It’s 4 star hotel but it deserves to be 5 stars. Once I opened the door to my room, the room had a nice scent. My room was made up twice a day which is amazing and superb. Dark chocolate was kept for us after cleaning. The room decor is very nice and the bed is very comfy. The location is great as well. My overall experience was great and I will come again for sure. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The rooms were a bit small but very clean and nice. The location was just perfect. in a quiet area but close to everything with lots of dinning options. The service of the employees at the reception was just amazing. super nice and helpful with every inquiry we had. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone that is planning to visit Budapest.

To mention that first: I was on a business trip and I would certainly book this hotel again for several reasons. The hotel is nicely and conveniently located, close to the historic city, to the chain bridge, the river Danube and only a couple of minutes to walk by foot to the Expressbus station E100 to the airport. The lobby is very impressive and prestigious as is the building as such. The staff is friendly and responsive. My room wasn't very spacious, but absolutely okay with a good mattress and a clean, comfortable bathroom. WiFi is free and working very well. I had explicitly asked for a quiet room, which I also received with a nice balcony in front. It's okay, but one needs to know that these rooms are facing the inhouse atrium lobby. Thus, you cannot open the windows and the balcony is not accessible for privacy reasons and fresh air is coming from the air conditioner, only. Once again: that's absolutely okay, but one should know. However, what I strictly don't recommend, that is the breakfast - a catastrophe. The team is understaffed and overchallenged, their drill sergeant is running hectically around, being cynical and the buffet area is by far to small to host the number of guests. It was that bad, that I decided to go to the close by Hotel Kempinski for breakfast - although having paid already. There are also many smaller, cosy Cafes around which offer breakfast as well. Clearly - I don't recommend to waste time, nerves and money for hotel breakfast and I deduct one star for this.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the reception. The check-in process proceeded smoothly and efficiently. The entire staff exhibited exceptional friendliness, and a special acknowledgment goes to the manager, whose hospitality was particularly noteworthy. Their collective efforts significantly contributed to making our stay truly delightful. The rooms provided were spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings throughout the hotel were luxurious. We highly recommend the Prestige Hotel based on our positive experience.

The Hotel is immaculate and the decor 'Out of this World'. The staff are very friendly, polite and professional. The Room Service is excellent, rooms visited twice a day by the room maids - very clean and tidy. Toiletries, Tea and Coffee replenished twice a day. The Hotel is well situated between Basilica Square (Shops & Restaurants) and the Danube. Breakfast varied and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend. 10 out of 10.

We had a 4 night stay in October 2023. The hotel is clean and very aesthetically pleasing with an excellent location. The staff are friendly and helpful. I do have a few issues though. If you struggle with claustrophobia, this isn't the place for you as there are no outside windows and you can feel a bit closed in. Also, I was annoyed to find the wine and spirits in the mini bar had been restocked with water. However, the hotel did sort this out for us. The hairdryer was useless because it overheated and switched off after 2 minutes. The cleaners confiscated our 2nd room access card because we kept it in the electricity slot. We were told this is routine to save on electricity. The Michelin star restaurant is worthy of a mention as the food is delightful. Be mindful of the cost of drinks though. We had a bottle of wine and a brandy and ended up paying more than double the meal, which is currently £100 per head for the taster menu.

I’ve travelled extensively but rarely have I stayed in such a fantastic hotel. The rooms are really very elegant and impressive. For the sightseer the location is perfect with numerous restaurants within easy walking distance. For the obsessive it is spotlessly clean - I think it may just be the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A look at how elegant the reception area is speaks volumes on what you are about to experience. My new ‘default’ Budapest hotel!

Amazing hotel just in the right place for most sights or the Hop on bus to get somewhere. Staff are so gracious and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is fabulous. I would love the recipe for the granola! Everything beautifully cooked. Well done to the Prestige. Will come again.

This hotel was one of my favorites on our recent 3 week trip to eastern Europe. The staff is so incredibly kind, helpful, and willing to do everything to make their guests happy. Our room was beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Great location. Every staff member was professional and went out of their way to be helpful. An amazing experience. Very highly recommend. We will be back!

First off the staff is amazing. Very eager to assist with anything you need from taxi ordering to suggestions on places to eat or visit. The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to many of the best sites as well as public transportation. The beds and rooms are very comfortable and clean as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.

The Prestige Hotel Budapest was excellent, we recommend it! We had a really nice stay in this hotel. The people working there are kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and well organized and every time well prepared by the room service. The spa was quite nice for a relaxing moment. The breakfast was good with tasty food and lot of options at the buffet. The location is perfect, very convenient for tourism.

The reception staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a suite, beautiful room. Hotel is in great location . You can access the city center very easily. The rooms were clean and well serviced. Breakfast buffet was good. Service was excellent, I will definitely stay there again.

On arrival, this hotel is amazing. The staff were informative and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to be guests of the day and enjoyed a free upgrade. The room they gave us was amazing. Staff were well informed and were more then happy to arrange travel and a well layed out map of where to go and what to see. I don't return to many cities But Budapest, I will be back And of course stay here again.

Wow!! What an absolutely stunning hotel, our first impressions on the hotel just blew us away but the whole experience just got better and better. The hotel itself is situated in a central area where you can access excellent restaurants to cater for all tastes, culture and shopping. The hotel is immaculate I’ve never seen such pride in hygiene and decor and this is matched by the wonderful service of all the staff, I could go on and on about how amazing our stay was. What a wonderful trip and we will definitely be back to the Prestige Hotel.

This hotel was in a brilliant location. It was so clean and beautiful. Customer service was excellent. The only reason I rated the room a 4/5 was because we were unable to open a window for fresh air - air conditioning only. Having said that, if ever I'm lucky enough to visit Budapest again I will absolutely stay here again.

Dead centre of the city, convenient to the sights of Budapest. Just round the corner from all the bars and restaurants. Excellent customer service, good breakfast, very comfortable room. Could have stayed longer, but trousers were getting tighter from all the good eating...

The Prestige Hotel was wonderful! It is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Very large living room, big bedroom, comfortable sofas! The hotel is perfectly located to walk to restaurants, cafes, sightseeing, and the bus that takes you over the river. Very safe neighborhood. The staff were superb, very professional, and super helpful answering any questions about buses, sites, etc. I highly recommend this hotel! I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Prestige Hotel in Budapest for 2 nights. I loved everything about this hotel. The room was decorated beautifully (every detail was perfect...I seriously mean it...the details were lovely!), service was TOP NOTCH and the location was great for my husband and I. We walked a lot to nearby attractions and we also hopped on/off the local trams. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - honestly, this was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. It's not a HUGE hotel, but that's ok - it was perfect for us. (I have stayed at some top end hotels - like The Four Seasons and the Prestige compares!)

The service and the location were both excellent. Our room was very spacious, attractive, and comfortable. The only improvement I would suggest, and it is a minor one, would be to have built-in USB ports for charging mobile devices.

Very nice hotel with a friendly and competent staff. The front desk personnel were very warm and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed their breakfast and would recommend that you add that option, but not until you check in if you don't plan on using it every morning of your stay. These are the reasons I'm giving this hotel 4 stars. If you have a room facing the courtyard, there are no windows to the outside since the courtyard is actually the lobby and inside the hotel. This area is also quite loud and voices tend to be amplified by the poor acoustics. At times, the rooms have an oder that I believe is seeping up from the shower drain. Without outside windows, it's difficult to air out the room. I would still recommend this hotel because of the staff and the comfortable rooms. The location is also great. Just be sure to ask for a room with a window facing the outside.

We had an amazing experience at the Prestige Hotel in Budapest. We stayed at this hotel for a portion of our honeymoon. The hotel itself was beautiful and our room was very spacious and clean. The hotel was well located and was walking distance to a variety of sites. Would recommend and would return!

Great stay at a beautiful hotel. The restaurant was phenomenal!! The room was beyond perfect! The street where it’s located is a bit dark at night, a few street lights would be nice. :) The only thing that needs to be changed in the shampoo and conditioner, they were awful, but that’s minor for how nice a hotel it is.

Look no further for a great boutique hotel in Budapest. The Prestige was quiet and comfortable with a friendly and welcoming staff. Importantly, it is within a 10 minute walk of the Hungarian Parliament, St. Stephen's Basilica, the Danube, and the Chain Bridge. With numerous restaurants in the area, you can't go wrong with the Prestige.

This hotel is a real gem! So beautiful yet understated. The staff are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is an amazing experience and needs to be celebrated. The rooms are beautiful and immaculately clean. Simply the best!!

Lovely hotel situated in an excellent location. Within easy walking distance to most of the major attractions and a stone throw away from the river. Staff were attentive and helpful. Our room was comfortable, although I found it a bit small for a "Deluxe" room. Storage space was just sufficient for a 2/3 day trip. Bathroom was factional and modern, but I would suggest that the Bath Towels be changed to larger ones, as the ones provided were inadequate for mature adults.

Very nice quiet hotel, with very attentive staff. Ruins are a bit small but very nice, with all the amenities required. There are a few English TV channels. Had the lunch 3 course menu in the Michelin guide restaurant which was a great experience and would recommend to anyone to try. Food was amazing

I’ve been living in Hungary for a number of months now and have visited a number of hotels throughout Budapest. Prestige Hotel Budapest is—by far—the best hotel I’ve stayed at in the city and one of the best I’ve stayed in. The staff provide excellent service and are warm and welcoming. They remembered me from a previous stay and have provided excellent dinner and dessert recommendations. This is the hotel I recommend and will continue to recommend to family and friends who travel here. The rooms are impeccably clean, the bathrooms fabulous, and the comfort of the beds spectacular. You will not be disappointed. The location is quiet enough that you’ll never feel like you’re right in the heart of Budapest, but you’ll be only a 3 minute walk from the Basilica and everything around it. I look forward to returning.

Can't praise this beautiful hotel enough. Upon arrival, I was given a free upgrade as well a sweet treat of chocolates in my room, as I was staying a week. The front desk staff, concierge, bellman, and airport shuttle driver were all efficient, informative and courteous. As it was raining during my stay, umbrellas were offered when going out. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Daily maid service occurred as well as evening turndown service with chocolates at the bedside. Free bottled water was replenished daily. I didn't take advantage of the daily included breakfast, but did pop in to find it looking delicious. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel, especially during the Christmas Market season as it's literally a three minute walk to the large market infront of St Stephen's Basilica. As well, three minutes from the Danube River and many of Budapest's wonderful city highlights. Will definitely stay here again.

We spent the end of the year in Budapest, and our choice was the Prestige Hotel. The main reason for choosing this hotel was its location, making it easy to reach most of the city's attractions. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and the breakfast truly diverse and catering to all tastes. The staff is very friendly and proactive.

Prestige Hotel Budapest truly exceeded my expectations. The staff's attentiveness and warm welcome made my stay exceptional. The hotel's immaculate condition and well-equipped amenities added to the overall comfort. Its prime location within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants was a definite plus. I will certainly choose Prestige Budapest again and highly recommend it to others.

A fabulous and elegant place to stay in Budapest where the staff are very kind, attentive and efficient. They make you feel at home, yet you feel pampered too. The front desk concierge and manager were extremely helpful all along. Definitely one of the best choices for Budapest. Location excellent too. A few steps from the river and 5 mins from the basilica.

This hotel was nothing short of wonderful! We checked in very late, tired from traveling from the US and were greeted with a very friendly and knowledgeable concierge. He gave us the information for the room, the surrounding area and a map with the highly visited spots as well and informing us of the Budapest Go app, which has all of the public transportation info on it. The suite we stayed in was clean, had air conditioning and even came with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate! As far as I’m concerned, this is the hotel to stay in in Budapest and next time we return, we will stay in this hotel, as well as recommending it to anyone who will listen.

Really good hotel with high standards and rating. It feels like they are thinking about everything down to the smallest detail. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean and well-equipped. There's a Jacuzzi on the 1st floor for the guests to enjoy.

walking distance to everything. Gym for the size of hotel is tiny. I can see it being very crowded when hotel is busy. Rooms were clean as expected. parking is very overpriced at 28Euros/night when you're already paying so much for the room.

Great hotel. Amazing staff who are friendly, professional, helpful and kind. Amazing location near the river, Parliament, Széchenyi Chain Bridge, St. Stephen's Basilica and so many delicious coffee shops, ice cream shops and great restaurants. Excellent restaurant downstairs which serves a wonderful breakfast every morning. A new favorite for our family. Can't wait to be back.

An absolutely Beautiful hotel. On arrival, we were greeted by very friendly and professional staff. As this was a mini-moon, the hotel chose to surprise my wife and I to an upgrade to a suite. I couldn't faulter the room. I can not put into words how luxurious and beautiful the suite was. We wish our stay was longer. We will 100% return to this amazing hotel. The location was perfect. Fantastic hotel in an excellent location for exploring Budapest. The staff were very friendly and service was great. The maids worked hard to keep everything in place with the room being cleaned daily. Thank you to all of the staff for making our Xmas break a wonderful one.

Excellent choice for a short stay in Budapest. Staff was great, hotel decorated nicely and was very clean. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the Chain Bridge is closed for the next year or so. Once open again it gives you direct access to the Buda side of the river.

Beautiful hotel, big and comfy rooms, great shower, amazing breakfast. Very clean! Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent location, walking distance to all main areas. We stayed in a room with no outside windows, so there is no fresh air (the windows are only to the inside of the building). just take that into account if it matters to you (heating was working great). Great stay and I'll definitely would be Happy to come again 😊

A truly fabulous experience a big thank you to reception staff for their experience and advice of local transport and areas of interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our suite room with attention to detail of little treats and immaculate dressing. We enjoyed it so much we have all ready booked in for next year as Budapest is an amazing city and the prestige hotel offers such a amazing service to its guests.

This hotel is beautiful. Every staff member is welcoming and so friendly and helpful. Our room was fabulous and there was a bottle of wine and water left in the room on our arrival. Very nice touch. Each night the curtains are pulled and chocolates are left on your bed. Bed is so comfortable and we had CNN and BBC News channels so nice to be able to watch TV in English. The room was lovely and warm and the bathroom was super clean with fresh toiletries left for is each day. It even had underfloor heating. The breakfast was buffet with great selection and excellent service. Hotel is close to Christmas markets and shopping area and we were able to walk to lots of attractions.

Glamorous looking hotel with nice extras like choice of pillows, coffee pod machine in the room and bath robes. Very friendly and helpful staff. If I could make a suggestion it would be to consider having scrambled eggs available as part of the hot buffet selection? the wait time for egg orders with just one chef in the kitchen was frustrating for many guests who had tours or other activities to attend.

We recently traveled to Hungary on Business and stayed at the Prestige Hotel Budapest. The staff was excellent providing assistance with just about anything you can imagine, like booking a rental car, information on local events, assistance with shipping packages, or ordering a taxi, the staff was great. The rooms were spacious and clean; and the location was ideal for Business or Leisure.
