The rooms, while a bit small, are comfortable and the staff is excellent. Their free breakfast buffet is a nice bonus. You are also close to public transportation and many of the major sights are within walking distance. This is a good place for a short visit to Budapest.

This is a real gem, probably the best hotel price/quality! It's rated with 3 stars, but it's much better than and it probably beats quite a few 4 star hotels in the area. The breakfast is good, continental, and always fresh with a good selection. 24/7 reception, the rooms a freshly decorated. The location can't be better

A very good and high-value hotel! The staff were super helpful and kind! Location: perfect, very close to everything (transport, airport bus, landmarks, etc). Also felt like a safe area. Room: fresh and recently renovated, rather small room too. There was however some issue with the shower door's sealing causing leakages... Breakfast: good food and very complete! The hotel should consider offering filter coffee as well, since there are only two coffee mills and the lines to get coffee get very long. Additionally, the hotel could consider booked time slots for breakfast, at times it get very crowded and the restaurant is not too large. I would stay here again!

Hotel location is in the city center close to everything. Hotel is super clean, modern with everything you need. Rooms are big very pretty!Stuff is professional beyond helpful and kind. We arranged to stay here for my friend birthday and they brought complimentary champagne she was beyond have for this gesture. This is our to go Hotel forever! Thank you for excellent customer service. We will recommend you to everyone!

It was such a lovely experience. The staff was very friendly and ready to accommodate all our needs. They offered a list of good restaurants, they prepared two breakfasts to go since we had to leave very early and have paid for breakfast. The room was big and clean. We were lucky to find park in their private park place. All in all, the guys from the hotel were the best: smiling, helpful, always there if you need something

We loved staying here! Perfect location in the historic Jewish Quarter. The staff was over the top helpful, enthusiastic and polite. We couldn’t get over the welcome we got each day! The breakfasts were incredible! Restaraunt quality and huge variety- it was a treat each morning! A feast! We would stay here again! Rooms are tiny, no real closet, but we managed and thought the location, breakfast and eager staff made up for it!

I really like to stay at this hotel. Location is super, straight away in city centre. Restaurants, shops are around. Airport bus 3 min walking. I booked some excursions and also 10-15 min walking from the hotel! Super polite and positive staff! Always smile, very helpful! Very quick service, my room was ready at 1pm instead 2pm. For sure when I come back to Budapest I come back to ROOMbach Hotel!

The pros: -Excellent location, easily accessible to mass transit, downtown core, synagogues, entertainment centre. -First class breakfast -Very polite, friendly staff =Good value -Room overlooking the back courtyard is quiet The cons: -Standard room is tiny; fits two people but just barely -No dressers or real closet, just an open area next to the door, with hanging space and shelves -Bathroom floors are porcelain tile and incredibly slippery I would definitely stay here again, but would upgrade to a larger room or junior suite.

We loved our holiday and our third stay at Roombach Hotel, the hotel is excellent and staff extremely kind and helpful, ready to meet every request and make your stay as confortable as possible. The location of the hotel is really perfect for exploring Budapest, being right in the vibrant old city, with amazing restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel is modern and clean, double rooms are a bit small, but if you need more space there are larger ones to book. It is our third stay here and we stayed both in the larger rooms and in the double rooms and we enjoyed all our stays here. Breakfast is very good with plenty of options, coffee also very good, the hotel has private parking that can be booked if you are travelling by car. A very nice touch was the complimentary beer and wine we found in our room with a note thanking guests for choosing Roombach for their stay during the Rammstein concert. This shows precisely the respect and attention they offer their guests, we loved our stay here everytime and will come back again when in Budapest.

Perfect hotel if you want to explore Budapest City center. We came by car and could conveniently park in the back private parking of the hotel and left the car there during our whole stay. Staff were super nice every time we had a question, rooms were clean and the breakfast was diverse enough. The only "drawback" was that it was at a very lively area so if you wanted to leave the window open during the evening you do get some noise from outside, when closed it's perfectly quiet. The same "drawback" is actually the best part about the hotel, so many bars and restaurants nearby means an active and fun city break. It's 5-10 mins walk to almost all the best squares in Budapest.

Rooms are very small and it gets hot quickly (especially when there is a pretty girl with you inside). Unfortunately, AC doesn't work and you can't open the windows. Breakfast is only okay. Great staff improves the rating.

Located 5 minutes from the Deak Ferenc Metro station. As i missed my late night flight, i arrived this hotel mid night around 2am without reservation. The lady at the desk finally managed to get a room for me after a 20 minutes waiting. Rooms are very clean and classy. Nice atmosphere with a beautiful front desk. They have a breakfast menu with dining. Great service. Staffs are kind.

Great location. Staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast included (got early booking deal) offered hot items like scrambled eggs, beans and Hungarian sausages, alongside breads, cheeses, meats, pastries, Yoghurt and muesli. Nice selection and comfortable dining area. Room was very clean, warm, comfortable beds, we gad a rooftop view from our room (8th floor) and could glimpse the Danube. Fantastic place for exploring the Jewish Quarter and having a drink or two in the ruin bars. There are nice little eateries very close by and you are a short walk from the Metro station, buses etc. The room is compact, shower only but suited our needs well. There is also an ironing room available if you need which was useful. Just ask at reception. Minor quibble is that it would be nice to have some hand soap in the room.

The hotel's staff provided outstanding service. Breakfasts were delightful. The room, while beautifully clean, was a bit compact and lacked coffee-making facilities. However, the staff offered coffee for a reasonable fee of 1.5 euros. The location is truly remarkable, situated in the heart of Pest's city center, close to numerous restaurants, bars, shops, and convenient transportation options.

A good standard and nicely decorated room, the room was on the smaller side but you cannot beat the service or location for a city break. The selection for breakfast was great and the staff were really friendly. The hotel is ideally located and easy to walk to the tram or bus.

Amazing location, good clean rooms and amazingly professional staff. I would like to give my praise to mister Bence who works at reception. If you visit this hotel, look for that guy, he's a wizard when it comes to making guest wishes come true. On a scale 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) I rate his service 12! We felt welcome from the very first moment we stepped in the hotel and over the course of ten days, the impression even improved. Highly recommend this hotel, we'll definitely come back.

The hotel was nice and breakfast was good. Staff was very nice 👌 I want to leave a review of a “romance package”. I don’t recommend, although it was nice at first glance, the chocolate was very low quality- not at all pleasant. Too expensive for what we got.

Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good, the only thing is that it’s the same every day and not a lot of variations, but that’s fine for a few days of stay. If you’re tourist this place is perfect because you can reach a lot of touristic spots by foot. There’s a parking also which needs to be paid extra. To sum up, I highly recommend it.

We stayed there one night only, but the room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great! And all of the staff was very friendly and fluent in english. Great location in center of Budapest in walking distance of everything.

Top location ! In the heart of the city, walking distance to the Jewish neighborhood famous for restaurants and nightlife. Walking distance from the metro station and from the airport bus stop. The breakfast was really good, lots of food, sweet, salt, cold, hot … The young staff was really nice and helpful ! If the future will bring me again in Budapest I will choose ROOMbach for my stay. Location is good, minutes to everywhere. The buffet breakfast is decent, scrambled egg and sausage with a cup of coffee. The room is a bit small, but the staff is very nice and helpful!! Highly recommend. I’ll definitely return one day

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the location is perfect for walking distance to most places (especially to lots of bars and restaurants). The hotel is very nice and clean and the beds comfy. The duvets need to be bigger though. There wasn’t a kettle/tea/coffee facility in the room and the towels are very worn and thin and need replacing with new ones. I would stay here again.

I’ve stayed here on every trip to Budapest and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending. The rooms are comfortable, good shower, staff are friendly and breakfast is delicious. The hairdryer in the bathroom wasn’t great, but that’s the only drawback.

The location was mazing and the staff were even better. After a long day of travel I got a ginger and Jameson in the lobby and took it to my room to relax. The breakfast was fresh and delightful with wonderful coffee. I had a scare thinking I had lost my passport. They responded within 45 minutes that they were searching and included an image of what they had found. The location was off of a wonderful bar street with great people and drinks.

Great location for trips around the city, very close to Szimpla and other must-see places in the Jewish neighborhood. Room was decorated with taste, working AC, the only downsides were the shower (the shower head was quite dirty), the sheets on the bed constantly sliding off the beds (might be useful to get longer ones) and room next to the elevator where you can hear the elevator quite late. Very nice staff and great breakfast.

Nice hotel in center Budapest on the Pest side, great acces to public transportation, close to the shopping street. Rooms are on the smaller side and blinds should be a bit wider. But great service, breakfast is the same everyday but that did not bother us. We will consider ROOMbach when we come back to Budapest

They have me an upgrade to a "premium" room that was supposed to be the newest rooms. The room was pretty nice and a good size. Room was pretty clean though showing its age. Water pressure was good. Good location though taxi's are cheap. Overall, I'd stay here again

We stayed at Roombach hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stays. The hotel staff are very helpful and always have a smile on their face! We had the free breakfast buffet in our deal and that didn’t disappoint - it was nice. The only con i would say is our room was quite small but other than that the location of the hotel is amazing! We researched the area before coming and it was just 10/15 minutes away from all the tourist attractions - loved that! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is doing a city break trip and is looking for somewhere close to everything! :)

Excellent no frills hotel in Budapest City Center. Great location, clean and comfortable beds, which is all you need for a city break. Breakfast was more on the basic side, but with some nice extras like letscho and spicy sausages. Staff at reception was welcoming and friendly and they seem to care that you are enjoying your time in Budapest. Thumbs up, a really pleasant surprise!

Tiny bathroom with horrible very old towels that were exchanged when requested - if they have nice towels why not give them to us???. 1 tiny shower gel and one very tiny hand soap for 2 guests, no coffee / tea maker or bottle of water, basic in every 3 star today. Disappointing room which could be easily corrected - not cheap hotel - spare us some soap! Staff very nice and happy to assist at reception and dining room. Would not return if room facilities not improved. Surrounding hotels we tried are better.

Pro's: - located in the heart of the city; - available parking (18eur/day); - clean room; - breakfast starts very early (07.00am); - friendly staff; Con's: - at night, the streets can get very noisy (i would suggest to get earplugs in case the room is on the street side); - the bathroom door does not offer too much intimacy; All in all it was a good stay.
