Good location, affordable option compared to near by hotels at this clean level. Hotel Zenit in Budapest offers a serene retreat with its modern amenities and central location. Tourists praise its comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and delicious breakfast. The Danube River and major attractions are easily accessible, enhancing the overall experience. A blend of tranquility and convenience makes Zenit a top choice for exploring Budapest's beauty. Guests at Hotel Zenit rave about its contemporary design, creating a chic atmosphere. A simple hotel, nothing more than that, small rooms and the hotel restaurant charges astronomical prices. We have a couple of friends who rented a car through the hotel and had an accident and the rental company mistreated them and the hotel completely ignored them, just a shame. Zero in service to the guest. "be careful"

Really great location right in the city centre and in front of the Danube, super clean although we did have a weird clown thing under our bed. Really lovely service, on our last day after checking out they let us use the library to do some work. The only thing I would say is that our room was outside the cleaners room and they would be super loud in the mornings shouting at each other at 7am or before.

Great place, great location. They should only improve the breakfast. Eggs are the center of their concept but are far away to be cooked as they should.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Between the Danube and the main street. A very spacious family room. The rooms are clean. comfortable bed. The hotel staff is charming, courteous and helpful in all our requests. The breakfast is nice. Highly recommend!

Stay here! The staff were so helpful and kind. From our late nite check in, helping us find the best dinner cruise, printing train tickets-- everyone met us with a smile and yes, I can do that for you. Our room was lovely. Breakfast ample. My only small suggestion is to ask the man who makes your eggs to be nicer, less grouchy.

Stayed here for several nights. Perfect location, and near to most of the Christmas markets. Easy to find and it has a grocery store, bakery, and many restaurants nearby. Great for walking around and felt very safe. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was also spacious. There is a safe in the room, and a refrigerator. The hairdryer was somewhat of a pain because it is very sensitive and turns off while drying hair, but no big deal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean room and facilities. Bed and bedding were super comfy. I would definitely stay here again as I enjoyed being in close proximity to all that I wanted to see and do! There is also a tea kettle in the room and they provide coffee and tea. Shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, shower caps, toothbrush kits, lotion, and hand soap were all provided. There is also a mini bar, but I didn't try any of the items.

Payed 180€ for 2 rooms and one night including breakfast. Everything was clean, calm and the women on the reception was very friendly. Its central in the city of Budapest and still not so loud in the night. You also can find some body lotion, shampoo etc. in the bathroom. My room got two windows but the only thing you can see, is the the reception and some other windows. I was quiet satisfied for the price. I will come again.

Not a quite pleasant experience. We were first given the room 318, and found hair on the bedside table, which is quite obvious. Felt a little bit disgusted. Then we were changed to room 108, facing courtyard. Not a good view. In this room they gave me two shower gels instead of shampoo. This is the first time I saw a hotel with no spare plugs next to the desk. Cant image this is a four star hotel. One thing needs to mention is staff service is good. But details make a difference.

Zenit Hotel is very strategic hotel if you would like to visit the city centre of Budapest. The hotel is signed as a 4* accommodation, but few things are not belonging to a 4* hotel. Cleaning level is quite poor, even the furniture in the bathroom is quite old fashioned and not responding to the standard for a 4* hotel. Sound insulation is quite poor (I slept quite bad last night due to some guys who were shouting in the corridor without anyone from the hotel crew who checked the situation) and even bed was not a high level one. Breakfast was a plus, no discussion at all, but for the wellbeing of guests I'm expecting more attention to details...

Was offered this hotel as part of a budget impromptu trip to Budapest with my partner! The reviews looked good so we're pretty hopeful! We weren't disappointed! Arrived early morning on Sunday, unfortunately we couldn't book in until 2pm. Spoke to the women behind the desk, she promptly pulled out a map and circled a few points of interest etc, and off we went. Returned back at 9pm, checked in and the hotel and room was everything we had heard! Very clean, modern and mostly the staff were ak helpful! On the return back to the airport on check out, the staff had called the transfer company for us and the driver was waiting! Can't fault the place or the staff, will definitely be staying again if we visit Budapest!

We been at the hotel with our 3 children, stayed at the family room which was so big and comfortable! Clean and lovely. Minibar and two bath, really good. We didn't take the breakfast... Hotel was close to the main area just walking around. Close to metro and bus. To the Dnuba bridge. All was perfect, aspecialy the people and the front desk was nice answer all of our questions! We will be back for sure!

Our Christmas at Zenit Hotel was an absolute nightmare! Despite being situated in a prime location, the entirety of our experience was nothing short of disastrous. Rushing to catch a taxi to our next destination, our kids were forced to abandon their breakfast, wasting food because the heartless staff refused a takeaway, even though we had paid for it. This infuriating policy, ruthlessly enforced by individuals like Zita and the chef, resulted in hungry children on Christmas day. We are utterly disappointed, vowing never to return. The audacity of treating paying guests this way is beyond comprehension. We're contemplating reporting this egregious behavior– paying for a service we couldn't even consume on such a significant day is nothing short of a scam. Zenit Hotel's blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and their callous treatment of guests is absolutely appalling. A strong word of caution: steer clear of this establishment; their customer service has the potential to turn your experience into an unforgettable nightmare.

Hello everyone, we had a very high quality and service experience at this hotel, the staff is great, approachable and helpful in everything. I would like to mention the employees Lia (kitchen worker) Daniel Naomi Pablo (front desk workers) who made our stay pleasant, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Good hotel with nice large rooms. Only things ruining it is the view if the back of the concrete monstrosity called the Marriott.

Very nice hotel, nice and helpful staff. The only thing i would change is that it needs a little update of the rooms. The design is really nice, but there are details that could be fixed or repaired. I was expecting a little more from a 4 star hotel in terms of how fresh and maintained the rooms are. Other than that, perfect! Superb breakfast!

We booked a standard double room which had 2 twin beds. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel’s location falls in center of Budapest near all the main attractions. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants found a few minutes walking away from the river. Below is a summary of my stay: + -Decently Clean -Location -Price -Close to transportation (taxis, trams, boats, etc…) -Friendly staff - -Rooms are slightly small -The Lobby is bright with plenty of light but the other floors have a dark decor color -The Marriott is blocking the river view Overall it’s a good place to stay.

Great affordable hotel in a really good location. One small thing, the wall fixings in room 209 need repairing such as the towel rail next to the sink and the electrical outlet next to the hair dryer. Apart from these small things it was a great experience I would stay again if visiting Budapest

Very nice hotel direct in downtown for a fair price. As a little one problem I see very expensive parking in parking house.

Amazing experience in Budapest. Clean hotel in the very center of the city. The staff is extremely polite, kind and available for any inconvenience. Huge breakfast buffet, loaded with any salty and sweet goods. Must stop for a couple of days on vacation in this beautiful city.

It was a fantastic experience at Hotel Zenit. What worked well was: Location - It has a fantastic location, 2 min walk from the Danube river, 6 min walk from the metro station, 5 min walk from bus stop and 2 min walk from the Budapest fashion and shopping street. Most of the the attractions are walking distance from the hotel. Disliked · The bed - it was a bit hard, it could have been more softer to make it more comfortable. The AC - the Air conditioning had a mind of its own, and wouldnt cool as needed. We had to keep windows open for a while at night to keep the room cooler.

We (2 adults + 2 kids) spent one night at this hotel and our stay was pleasant. It was a "Double Room - Connecting", that suits our requirements in full. 1 room was equipped with the master bed and another room - with the transformed sofa. The room was clean. Unfortunately there was no any view from the window, but this is not actualyl a minus to the hotel, as we understand, that all rooms cannot have a great view. Also, due to a early check-out we couldn't join the breakfast and we were offered to take some fruits/water/sandwiches to go.

Spacious rooms with modern look, though a bit used up. Bathrooms equipped with a nice tub. Good location, friendly staff. Great breakfast, with fresh juice and eggs made for you on the spot. Just the breakfast room is quite dark and you don't really see well

  • 4/5 Robin K. 1 year ago on Google
Nice breakfast and friendly staff. The rooms could be maintained better. Especially the bathrooms are not cleaned pretty well and you can see it in puts. Otherwise the location is nice, as you can reach all main spots by walking. The restaurant is nice

The hotel is very central! Close to restaurants, shopping districts, and transportation links. The receptionists were very helpful too. Shoutout to Maryam who arranged us our airport transfer and kept our luggages after check-out so we could tour the city before our airport taxi arrived. The rooms were clean and they had an effort to be eco-friendly and encouraged guests to join this initiative. There is a Hungarian-Spanish-Italian restaurant in the hotel that's great if you're too tired to go out for dinner. Breakfast options were good and delicious too. The showers were amazing and it seemed like an endless supply of hot water. The reception area is spacious and had very comfortable chairs / couches if you were waiting for someone or something, you can sit there. The hotel is close to the dock where the River Cruise was parked so it's very convenient.

Hotel is very good. Staff is polite and very supportive. Place is clean, functional and very well located. Basically you are close to very good restaurants and main touristic places in the Pest side.

  • 2/5 Phillip M. 1 year ago on Google
The bed was bought 30 years ago and the mattress toppers are reserved for premium rooms. Maybe just have one on standby in case anyone complains? Also, the rooms feel have an insane asylum vibe or a hostel. Just add something to this jeez

  • 3/5 Dafna Y. 1 year ago on Google
The location of the hotel is excellent but the maintenance of the rooms is not suitable for a 4 star hotel. Broken door handles, a broken towel rack and more... The cleaning lady didn't fully provide service either, we constantly had to ask the reception for things she forgot to put in the room, such as soap, a towel for the feet and more. In contrast, the receptionists were super helpful, pleasant and welcoming.
