Great located hotel of the hotel, 15 minutes walk from the city center and Two minute walk to Oktogon metro station. Our room was basic, not very big and the bathroom need renovation, its very small in my opinion. Very delicious breakfast , additional price 10 euros per person but it's worth it. If you are leaving early morning, you can ask for breakfast box, the staff was very friendly and they spoke English very well.

Friendly and simple approach to good accommodation in excellent central location. Our double room was spacious with modern decor. Breakfast involved a healthy set of options in a simple setting.

Medos Hotel was a delight! We stayed there for three nights during a weekend trip to Budapest. It is located in a very central part of the city, 2' on foot from Metro line 1. The room was new, comfortable and cleaned daily. Also it has an amazing breakfast with many choices. It will be my first choice when I visit Budapest again.

Location of the hotel is great! It is near to every touristic points and metro stations. The room was cleaned and breakfast was delicious. Room was bigger then expected. The personal was very kind during our stay. The only thing I had the problem with, was the internet as the connection got lost from time to time.

Lovely spot, good staff. Nice clean room and facilities. We booked an airport taxi through the hotel and it was 30 minutes late though, so I would recommend booking your own and being very specific about the pick up time. Other than that a great experience in an amazing city for a very good price.

,We booked a non refundable reservasion unfortunately due to unexpected circumstance we had to cancel. The hotel was considerate of us and refunded all funds for the reservation immediately. This indicates that the hotel's customers are in first place, we are very thankful for that and we will be back for sure.

Excellent reception (they checked us in 2 hours in advance) Room at 9th floor was nice with balcony and good view over Budapest. Breakfast was normal (continental with fresh products), good coffee Everyday cleaning, but unfortunately they didnt change our ashtray for whole stay, that was the only downside Overall excellent place and good price

It's a nice hotel at a great central location and we enjoyed our stay there. Staff is generally friendly, although the older staff at breakfast can be a bit grumpy. They should also be careful with deploying staff that has a cold, especially in a covid epidemic you could see the guests did not appreciate that. Breakfast is okay. They offer a lot of variation but the quality of the food is average. Sometimes we skipped breakfast to get better pastries/bread at the Spar around the corner. Cleaning is also okay. They clean the room daily and properly. There were some cobwebs in the room when we got there and towels are not always free of stains. The airco functioned well and kept the room nice and cool with temperatures outside reaching 35 degrees. The airco is quite noisy especially the first 30-60 mins after starting it. The view was disappointing. I added a picture of it. It's a matter of luck which view you get. I expected the superior rooms to at least have some view. All in all the hotel provides a relatively good and cheap base to discover Budapest from.

Bad room cleaning, hair scattered on the floor and bed, dirty coffee cups and spoons, dusty furniture We chose a Superior Double Room, which was nothing superior! We were next to the elevator, very noisy. The view from the window was a wall of the building opposite. Almost no natural light Breakfast wasn't bad, but in my case I had few alternatives. Not to be repeated! PS: good location

Nice 3-star hotel, well located and very convenient to metro and tram. We enjoyed our 3 night stay there with very stable Wi-Fi and good air con. It’s losing a star as the facility is a bit old. In general the room and the hotel area is clean, but we just had the misfortune that one of the bed sheets had marks on it.

Good location, good price, great breakfast, a bit shady looking, and the room doesn't need a TV when my computer has a bigger screan.

Good breakfast, room and location. Nothing to fault from out 1 night stay. Met my expectations. Odd set up with the lifts etc but got around fine! Bit noisy from emergency vehicles etc in the night (and we were on floor 7) but not a fault of the hotel!

Normal old hotel, room with a window to the next building so no view. Breakfast is normal too but with a view to the garden so its much better. If you want to stay mainly outside, so this hotel is fine

First experience in Budapest, and I was looking for a safe hotel close to tourist attractions. I can say I made a perfect choice. The rooms were very clean, with a wonderful view, and the staff was friendly. Tourist attractions are relatively close (Hungarian Parliament, Chain Bridge). The breakfast was very good, and we also had access to a garage for our car. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything you need, coming to Budapest for a city break. Clean room, kind service, perfect location, quite wide breakfast products selection. Place is dog friendly (20eur for a dog per night).

The place is less than 10 minutes walk from main train station. The receptionist is very friendly and the room big enough and very clean and well decorated. You also have a kettle with instantaneous coffee and tea. The WiFi works perfectly fine!

We had a superior twin at €65,- per night incl breakfast. Monday - Thursday in October. Rooms are new decorated - clean, beds good. Pillow could be better. New bathroom - shower head holder was loose. Hot water and good spray. Breakfast selection is good enough. Don’t expect too much but for the inclusive price it is more than good. Metro and busses just around the corner. City Center within 5 min. Safe area. Many places to eat and drink - a bit up market. Louis Vuitton shop and alike on the Main Street - you get the picture. So top class location (but also Burger King at 500m at Octagon square - if you crave for that). They were redoing the small park in front of the hotel - so when that is finished I guess that makes the setting even better. Friendly reception. Breakfast room well maintained.

The location of the hotel is excellent, however, it is a hotel that provides the minimum service for the stay, they do not provide hygiene products, they only offer two bottles of water per room during the entire stay. They clean the room daily, but do not change towels or sheets unless you pay extra. Breakfasts are simple, there is no in-room food service or meals, they only serve breakfast from 7 am to 10 am. The evening receptionist, although friendly at times, ignores requests for extra time for check out, you can ask for it a day in advance, but they ignore it, they call the room with a rather rude tone of voice, demanding immediate eviction. The bathroom is small, but the flag is uncomfortable, as you can easily slip. The interior view per room, not worth it at all. Although Budapest is beautiful, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Small hotel in a very central location. 10 mins walk from the train station. Metro stop is close by. Tons of good restaurants all around Stayed in a two bedroom suite that was recently remodeled. Very nice view overlooking a small park. Front desk staff were always friendly and helpful.

Before I begin addressing things, we booked the double room with a balcony. The room is nice but not very big, the balcony was definitely a huge advantage and upgrade. It has a small fridge that comes with water, a water boiler and a bit of coffee and tea. The bathroom and shower were the part we liked less. Although we got enough amenities like towels and soaps, the shower just doesn't close well, and it doesn't matter how you try to avoid it, water comes out of the shower and we even had a small flood in our bathroom, just from a 4 minutes shower. We fixed it by using towels but still a curtain or a better glass door would make it perfect, it didn't ruin our experience by the way. The reception staff is nice and we really liked the breakfast options. And again, the balcony was really nice, we got a good view of the park below and different points in the city. I recommend this hotel very much.
