The room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a pleasure to return to after a day of exploring the city. The room was spacious, providing ample space to relax and unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided added an extra touch of convenience, from the well-stocked minibar to the in-room coffee and tea facilities. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment throughout my stay. The modern bathroom was a highlight, featuring a refreshing shower and luxurious toiletries. In addition to the wonderful room, the hotel's breakfast was a delightful experience. The spread offered a wide variety of delicious options, from fresh pastries to hearty cooked dishes. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the presentation was equally impressive.

Great location. The room is tiny. Door has been broken into. No coat hangers in the closet. Broken towel rack in the bathroom (I guess all dirty towels go on the floor?). Sheets are too short for the bed. On the plus side, the bed is large and comfortable.

Stayed at Arcadia hotel for 2 days for a business trip. Located at prime location of deac city center location, contrary to it's 4 star display, the rooms in which me and my friends stayed represented 3 star rating. The rooms either single bed or double bed were relatively small with somewhat older furniture but bathrooms were nice and newly done. Internet wifi remained out for 1 day and nothing was done to fix it. Breakfast offered was very nice and variety to choose from. So overall, For the same price one could have better options or they should lower the price depending upon the rooms they offer.

This is not a four star hotel, but this hotel is OK. As can be seen in the pictures, the room is unsafe as per fire regulations. The door closer has been intentionally removed and not refitted. This should have been put out of use by maintenance when removing the closer; if not, it should have been identified as part of housekeeping checks. The hotel also would not allow me to amend my second booking when we were due to return after travelling elsewhere. It was a week before my first stay when I realised I had made a mistake. They claimed the hotel was fully booked on the day I should have booked - yet their booking system would allow an extension to the day before. It was non-refundable, but I would have expected compassion, flexibility and negotiation rather than lies. The hotel breakfast room is well-restored and has a beautiful map on the wall. However, if you want specific items, you need to pay for them, e.g. an omelette, etc.

We looked for a hotel right in the center of Budapest for one night and this was it! Why 4/5? Our main point of getting the room during our layover was to rest at night but we couldn’t until about 12am as it was very loud - we stayed on 0 floor - right above a few restaurants. Although the front desk were extremely polite and nice upon booking, it would’ve been more helpful to be warned of the noise prior, perhaps we’d choose another room on higher floors or on the other side. The room and bathroom were very clean upon our arrival and generally offered lots of space. There is AC, heater, TV…. all work well. In terms of the view - our windows on one side were blurry as they were facing the street right above a restaurant, so we couldn’t see much from there. After traveling to so many places, we were surprised not to find complimentary water in the rooms for the guests. That said, rooms also provide a mini bar that comes with price. Overall, good price for quality! Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends traveling to Budapest if the above could improve! Thank you Arcadia!

The hotel itself is great. The superior king room (more like an apartment) was one of the better hotels I've stayed in, with the staff being friendly. Breakfast was good with a choice of scrambled eggs and bacon or sausages or a continental breakfast, both of which were more than ample.. The only downside and the main reason for the missing star is the local noise. There must be a nightclub or something similar in the area as most nights it was thump thump music. However, it did stop about 22:00 ish most nights, but then you get the eateries and the outside dining noises. Earplugs sorted it out for me, but it might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. If I was back in Budapest, I'd probably stay here again, though I'd just make sure to take the earplugs.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent location of the area. My boyfriend proposed to me, and for an extra cost the room was done with pictures, balloons and sparkling wine which was just perfect! Roberta <lady from the breakfast room> was absolutely fantastic, made us feel so warm and welcome. We will be back next year and wouldn't dream of staying elsewhere. The breakfast selection was amazing, so much choice. Rooms are very clean and very modern. Thank you Arcadia hotel and Budapest you've been amazing and we certainly won't forget you!! X

This hotels location is exactly where you wanna stay in Budapest, It's right in the "City Jungle". Within 100 meters you have more pubs, restaurants and shops then you can count. There's also supermarkets, tobaco stores, liquor stores and a tourist information botique. You have the bus, tram and subway right outside, plus the big road from where you can flag down a taxi anytime. Jewish Quarter, Fashion street and the Ferris wheel is within a few minutes walk. The service from the hotel staff is nothing short of exceptional, they are extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. I do recommend to stay in a room near the ground, because the elevator gets a lot traffic sometimes before noon. However, as seen in one of my pics you get a sweet view higher up.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Perfect location in the heart of the city but the hotel was a let down. There's no light in our room only 2 little lamps. We couldn't get in our room for an afternoon because our door lock/key card was broken. It's ashame the hotel could be so much better

Location is excellent - close to many city attractions. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Rooms are ... different. We ordered 3 identical rooms, but all 3 were slightly different. This is historical building and it's planning cannot be changed. Booking through the Hotel website is quite cheaper than ordering through other sites.

Great location and friendly staff, however, I would not say that this is a 4 star hotel. The rooms are a decent size, nice than expected however they are not cleaned thoroughly. We had cobwebs in the bathroom and hairs all over the place that weren't ours. The cleaners eat in your rooms on their lunch breaks which is very unprofessional. The showers and baths are the worst! Unless you are 5ft and under, you will not fit in the shower let alone the bath!

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It’s on the Pest side of the city, specifically near a lot of bars and restaurants. The location is comfortable if that’s what your looking for but it was very loud in the evenings. Which brings me to my next point- NOISE. The walls and doors are super thin we could here everything! Doors opening and closing on the floor, people dragging their feet in the corridor, water in the pipes… EVERYTHING There is AC in the room but it’s set to 25 c and you can’t change it at all. When I called the front desk- they offered to bring a fan to the room. 🤦🏼‍♀️ The first night we asked to switch rooms to a different floor ( since there were people playing music and talking outside and we heard it like they were laying with us in bed) but, of course. the hotel was fully booked and the money unrefundable. Also- not enough lights in the room, the bathroom door didn’t close all the way, same with the shower door. Honestly, disappointed from the hotel. With all the noise and the ac we didn’t get much sleep and it affected our vacation. Wouldn’t recommend

We were the last weekend and all were fine. Good relation price to quality. We had a problem with the energy in the room and They sent us an engineer quickly to solve it. The best the location and the kindness of the staff.

Me and my friends have just got back from at stay at this hotel and couldn’t recommend it enough, was close to everything lots of things to do and lots of bars and restaurants in walking distance. The staff at the front desk were lovely and helped with anything we asked. The rooms were brilliant, comfortable beds and amazing shower. Had a little noise from the outside but nothing that caused a bad experience.

my friend and I chose Budapest as a place for a weekend trip, he wanted to sleep at this hotel. I don't choose this type of hotel, but I didn't mind it. The price was acceptable, I was surprised by the equipped bar, hairdryer and bathroom, yes, and the agreement was fine, when paying for the bar

Not a bad place to stay. Im used to more comfortable beds but large enough room very clean and loads of space for clothes with an optional safe. Minibar offering corner shop prices very affordable rather than overcharging.

Great room size and bathroom, very clean, great position in the middle of the city and wonderful staff. Andrew was really helpful and very enjoyable to have a talk to despite it was 2 in the morning. Good value for money. Been there 2 times and definetly we‘ll go again. We‘ve travelled with 2 small children that enjoyed the view over the street all morning.

Spent only 2 nights here recently. Although I have had already a quite good experience with the hotel, I still think it deserves only 3 stars. I had stain from the previous user on the toilet in my room, which is unacceptable considering the current pandemic situation (I have proving pics as well). The TV in my room was also not working, hence, I could not watch the initial European football cup games (not that it was super important, but still inconvenient). I received no cleaning service either on my second day, meaning, that my towels remained a bit dirty and my trash was not taken care of. I am not sure, whether I would stay at this hotel the next time. Highly unlikely. Also I recognized that the evening staff at the reception drank alcohol during his shift and refused to help me with the TV issue. The location is indeed really central, but there are better hotels nearby, which are also in a less noisy neighborhood.

For a 4 star hotel wasn't very clean, and also the breakfast was very bad with a very low quality products. We pay for Superior Double Room, 1 Queen Bed and they gave us a very but 2 single bet room. and they told us they don't have at the time but they charge us a Superior Double Room, 1 Queen Bed.

Although the rooms are nice and clean, this is our first day and we stumbled upon bad service. We had two rooms. One of them, had no lights in the toilet. We asked the reception to switch rooms and she said they are fully booked and the maintenance guy already left. Only after I insisted that they’ll fix it, they sent someone who fixed it. Later on that day, we turned on the air conditioner because it’s freezing in here, and it’s not on heat mode. You can’t change it by yourself. Again, I went to the reception and asked to fix it and they said we can’t do it because the maintenance guy went home. How come, a fully booked hotel, does not have a maintenance guy on shift for these cases. They looked like they don’t care the we ate cold in the room. Terrible experience .

The room was really dark without the central ceiling light. Equipment was quite old. Breakfast good and girl at the desk nice and well comunicating. The location is perfect but for this price could be found probably better looking hotel in the neighborhood.

Highly recommended! ✨ Perfect location, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, spotless cleaning, great facilities, excellent price/quality ratio. Everything was flawless: from the process of making the reservation, to arranging some small surprise for arrival, through check-in, booking experiences and receiving advise from the wonderful reception staff (everyone deserves a personal mention, but we would not be able to remember all the names!), enjoying breakfast, check-out, and leaving our luggage in storage for some hours after check-out! The hotel has a very good maintenance for a historical building, the room was very comfortable and well equipped, the windows do an amazing job isolating from outside noise, breakfast hall is lovely and breakfast is outstanding, changing a little bit every day, and the staff made us feel at home all the time. Special thanks to Roberta, whose warmth and care made it all even more special. We will come back for sure! 💖

It’s located in the heart of Budapest. It’s right near the Deal square. You can access everything by foot. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing that was bad was the location of the room, it was right next to another room and you can perfectly see everything in the other room and vice versa, so if you want to have privacy, you can’t open the curtains nor the window. The staff was very polite.

I stayed here about a month ago. The staff was really welcoming and nice. The location of the hotel is great as well. I have to shoutout Anna at the front desk because she was very nice. They were quite busy when we arrived, but she made sure she helped us with everything we needed. She got us parking nearby, allowed us to store our bags until the rooms were ready, and gave great advice for places to visit. She was fantastic, and had the best attitude while it seemed she was handling a lot at the moment. I definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!

How would I start this? Firstly, the gentleman had rushed the checking in phase - I didn't mention nothing about that I wanted it rushed, they understood I was late for the concert (KISS) and they put me through the checking in and even helped me up to the room and spoke about which cards what. I had appreciated this as my bus was 1 hour behind schedule. The following day I had to pay the tax as I didn't pay it when I was checking in. The young lady had greeted me again and asked how the concert went and who I went to see, she had another lady colleague with her and asked about my travels, I felt appreciated as a guest, I felt really welcomed (I've never felt that before). I had mentioned that I would like to visit budapest again and the said young lady would get the business card and tell me all the details and how it would I would be able to get a discounted if booked directly through the hotel. I would like to further say the location was great, it's, depending on how fast you walk, around 40 minutes to get to each spot, however there are some nice little areas around such as cafes, takeaways, restaurants and even some small stalls.

They should really put auto close on the doors it was bit annoying. And breakfast was a little short on hot food. Only 2-3 choices. Above that very nice hotel. Perfect spot in the city, nice view. Staff was very nice.

We stayed here in October, a party of 6. It is a well priced hotel with a great central location, all the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with excellent shower. The breakfast was plentiful and very satisfying with a good sized comfortable breakfast room and amazing helpful staff. Could not fault anything, we will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was decent with a good selection of breads, cold meats, scrambled eggs etc. The front desk staff are amazing and so helpful whatever your query, also the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. If visiting Budapest again I will definitely stay here. Thank you for a great stay. Seán and Mar

On the website it says that there is gonna be a bath as so I really needed it to be a bath but there were no rooms available with bath although it said so on the website. But!!! The staff at the hotel were so nice and helped us with everything they could and we appreciate their efforts! The hotel itself is very clean and nice, but the ac is not strong enough and we were a bit hot But overall very good!

Friendly staff. Nice breakfast room, but very basic breakfast. Very central location. Toilet not clean. Lift is dirty and always takes long to arrive. Hotel and room do not look like the pictures. Room walls where damaged and not clean, on the added pictures you can see a few examples of this. Conclusion: way too expensive for what you get.

This was definitely the best hotel I've stayed at. We've stayed for 3 days, really just using the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast. And, I am impressed. It is the definition of a perfect, "by-the-way" hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and ready for use. As for the staff - they are the most friendliest and kindest l've met. Prices were fair and reasonable, check-in was fast and direct, the rooms weren't too far from the elevator. The parking though was a little further from the hotel, around 200 meters in distance, but that can go under the radar, because of all already said. The view was also pretty astonishing, even though you can see the street and the building, it's beautiful at sunset. Definitely recommending i

They canceled my prepaid room with the excuse that they’re temporarily closed when they in reality ate overbooked and they canceled me two weeks before arrival and stil haven’t received the refund amount which I paid. I would say very disappointed would never recommend this hotel at least do not get a prepaid room. Im also trying to contact with them about my refund amount and I’m not getting any response.

Just don't book at this hotel ever. Following the war in Israel, I asked the hotel to cancel the reservation I had made, serving in the army during this difficult war, and flights to Budapest are canceled every day. The hotel showed no sensitivity, does not consider our situation and even though we are all experiencing a difficult time, completely ignored our request and rejected it. Asking everyone not to approach this hotel and not support it in any way. By the way, I previously stayed at the hotel a few months ago and still, despite this, the hotel decided to treat me in a disrespectful manner. shame on you.
