Booked this hotel through jet2 and found it to be a great location central for everything, a couple of nice restaurants near buy and great bar called the pointer 2 mins walk away. First impression of desk staff was miserable when we arrived on the evening but she turned out to be lovely in the end, the 2 day staff were Always smiling and happy to help.. its 30 euro for late check out. The hotel reception and breakfast area is very good and modern. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, my only complaint would be could do with tea/coffee making facilities and no safe. Good thing about lift you need your key to use it and you can't travel above your floor. All in all great hotel.

There is a tourist trap if you are visiting with your car. After you exit the parking of the hotel you will meet a fork, where on the left of the fork you will see two uniformed personnel. They are not the police, they are not there to direct the traffic, they are just luring you for a 100€ fine. It becomes a pedestrian zone at certain times, so just follow the sign to the right of the fork and do not go to talk to them. They do not signal you to go the correct way, neither do they have a cone or something on the road. Just avoid them.

Family room was smaller than usual, water from the shower was leaking from the bathroom to the room through the wall. Nice design and ok location but hotel is nothing special. Breakfast was very good. Its not worth the money. They charge parking 20e per day.

A quiet neighborhood and central location to everything: food and restaurants, shopping, and stores; metro train, tram and bus stations; banks and foreign exchange outlets; etc.

Small Hotel but friendly stuff. breakfast was good , you find everything what you need to start a day. Big plus is the underground parking.

If construction work is your cup of tea, then this is the hotel for you. Drilling and banging from morning till evening.

Situated in the heart of the city. Very near to public transport systems. Clean and neat rooms. Nice and generous breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. Mr.Adam assisted me with a very detailed plan for my day out. That was awesome.

I know it's a budget b&b, but the cleaning is bad. There was hair on the towels, our room wasn't cleaned even when we left the door sign to get it cleaned, so by 11pm we arrived on a messy room with all used (and very wet) towels on the ground. On top of that we noticed a strong smell, and when we opened the shower, there was a brown water flowing for a couple of seconds. Now, as for location it's good, close to the central market, on a quiet block on the street. There are some grocery stores nearby.

We had a very pleasant stay experience, we did early checkin, which was good. Breakfast is also very good. Hotel staff is always helpful, and room clean service is everyday available.

Very good location The bus from the airport for example goes straight to the hotel Good breakfast, staff An umbrella was presented There is no refrigerator and safe

Budget hotel chain in a convenient location with renovated rooms and helpful staff. Our renovated room on the 9th floor is standard size with an attached modern bathroom, high ceiling and a beautiful view of old town rooftops. The location is super convenient - steps away from Metro 2 and 3, trams and buses with access to most tourists hotspots. There are also plenty of restaurants, café, bakeries, supermarkets around the area. Note: There is no safe, no kettle, no bar fridge in the room. There is a Ironing room on the 3rd floor. There is no common seating area on the ground floor as it is currently under renovation

Very disappointing stay, air conditioning was broken and we were never told, so we had it running for 2 hours before we asked reception and then they told us. Breakfast was only ok, construction going on in the hotel so any sleep we could get in our warm room was interrupted by drilling sounds in the morning. The staff were apologetic but nothing was done to fix any of the issues except for opening our window a little more and in such a noisy part of the city, this just prevented further sleep. a discout, partial refund, or voucher for future stays would have been nice but we receive nothing but sorry's

Such a dissapointing, shocking and infuriating experience. Checked in at 3:30pm, went out for sight-seeing and got back to the room at 10:00pm realising/finding out that my jewellery pouch, containing a pair of ear rings and ring, was missing. My mistake that I had left it in plain view (on my bed). Such incidents only harm the credibility/reliability of the hotel. Of course I reported it to the hotel manager at once. They checked cameras the next day and informed me that personnel entered the room to bring a towel. Hotel manager assumed that they did not stayed into the room long enough to take anything. (how many seconds does it take to pick up a small pouch?). Anyway, my jewels was not found.

The location of this hotel is amazing. The airport bus leaves right around the corner and if you arrive from Keleti Train station, there’s also a direct metro line. You’re close to lots of restaurants and the jewish quarter, but there aren’t many outside noises. The breakfast is good. And I have to say the staff is AMAZING. They were so kind and helpful and really contributed to my high rating to this hotel. Because the rooms are ‚just‘ okay. The bathroom is so tiny! Especially for tall people, it’s going to be tight in the shower and on the toilet… otherwise the rooms look modern and the bed is comfortable. But I have to add how LOUD the hotel is. Barely any outside noises, but you hear the showers and toilet flushing from next door, people walking in the room above you etc, and the doors are really heavy so they slam shut super loudly. Maybe you should put some information signs on the door to let people know they have to pull them closed instead of just letting go - Because many other guests let the doors slam shut early in the morning on the weekend and also after 11pm, and it’s quite annoying when you’re trying to sleep. Also, as I was just staying for the weekend I put the „skip the clean“ sign on my door at around 8.30am and both times, I still came back to a cleaned room. If I had known someone would still enter my room, I would have cleaned up some of my stuff and it made me a bit uncomfortable having all my things on display… if you’re going to clean the rooms anyways, why even offer the „skip the clean“ option? Especially if this would give you Accor All reward points which somebody would maybe like to have… Overall, I loved the location and the staff, but this is only a hotel to stay in if you’re away the whole day

This ibis gets 4 stars mainly for the location. Ibis is ibis - no matter where in the world you are and this one is no different, so you know what you get. Nothing fancy, but clean with good service and this one also has great location if you want to tour the city.

The hotel is at very convenient street, vaci street and central market are really close, but there are few things that can make a difference at your stay. At first we noticed that the trash at the bathroom were not empty when we entered the room the first day. This makes you feel that the room is not clean enough. Moreover, at breakfast we did not have the choise of a praline such as Nutella, merenda etc . If you dont like marmalade or honey you will not be very satisfied. Although there were some mini sweets like cream with vanilla, if you were unlucky and didn't go early at the breakfast you wouldn't have the opportunity to taste them because they didn't refill. Overall, is a good hotel with kind stuff but they can pay more attention at cleaning and breakfast choices.

Nice and central budget hotel close to restaurants, pubs and public transport. Very central location near Kálvin tér close to the Dabube and Vaci street. And the airport bus 100E will take you there within half an hour. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms simple and small of course, like you would expect at a three star Ibis hotel. Not really a real temperature adjustable airconditioning unit in the room. But more of a fan blowing cooler air into the room. But the temperature in the room will not get under 24 degrees Celsius on a hot day. I didn’t book breakfast, but because of the status of my membership in the Accor loyalty program, the breakfast was complimentary in the weekend. I tried it out on a Sunday. I will give you a good start for the day, but don’t expect a full English with bacon or real sausages. Normally they charge you €11 and I would not pay that, because there are many options better and cheaper close to the hotel. The bed was comfortable and shower simple but adequate. The price I have paid was around €80 a night. A bit high, but it is the middle of Summer in the tourist season. If you like a little more space in your room and more luxury, there is a Mercure hotel just across the square.

Three night stay in mid-October. The hotel's location is simply superb: both the busstop to the Airport Express bus as the entrance to Budapest's splendid metro system are literally around the corner. The rooms are clean and look nice. Okay, the shower reaches to your shoulders if you're tall, but honestly I didn't mind, because everyone working in the hotel was very friendly and helpful, and to me that's what matters most. If I come back to Budapest, I'll definitely choose the same hotel.

Rooms are clean but a bit small and windows are towards a quite crowded street. Nevertheless i had a nice and comfort stay. To check out the city just perfect - really close to tram and metro.

Very close (100m) to Kalvin ter metro station and E100 airport express bus stop. The receptionists were great and very helpfull, especially Adele (if I recall her name correctly). The room and the facilities were very clean. The breakfast bouffet was basic but OK.

Good hostel. Located in the center of the city. Staff is helpful. You can access it directly with the bus 100E from the airport. It is only a five-minute walk at the first stop when you arrive in the citywhich is a big plus.

Very well located near a train station (kavin ter) and also walking distance to city centre and many attractions. On main road full of restaurants and bars and ATMs. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. Room a bit disappointing and bathroom not working well as shower damed (water not flowing). Otherwise good value for money

I was a guest back in 2018, but want to thank the excellent staff in Ibis Centrum for help on my most recent trip to Budapest in September 2021. I went to the hotel to ask for information about getting a PCR Test, and the gentleman on reception called 'Daniel' was extremely helpful. I don't speak Hungarian, so 'Daniel' phoned the clinic and arranged everything on my behalf. When the Test Results were emailed to me, another Staff member downloaded the Certificate, and printed off 2 copies for me to present at the Airport. Thanks for everything guys ! Keep up the great work, and I hope to see you all again soon ! :) Marc, Dublin, Ireland.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location of the hotel is very convenient to basically everything you need to see and visit in Budapest. Rooms were kept clean and breakfast was plentiful, despite the covid situation. All in all, a wonderful stay with wonderful people!

Budget hotel with rooms a bit dated. Location is not bad with transit nearby. There is airport bus stop just behind the hotel (Bus # 100) which takes you to/from airport directly in 30 mins at very affordable cost. There is nice lobby sitting area with a bar. The hotel is a bit old with not many options on TV. It definitely needs to be upgraded and modernized. Breakfast was average.

  • 4/5 CRST B. 2 years ago on Google
Room was clean, location is good(close to Danube, Citadel, restaurants, center), personnel was nice and helpful. Parking offered by the hotel is also good if you travel by car. Only issue was that around 5 in the morning the TV turned ON by itself (no image, only sound 😅).

  • 3/5 JW V. 2 years ago on Google
Rooms were small and dated. Shower was about the same size as a cruise ship. Food was very good. The staff was inadequate... some of this may have been a language barrier or simply lack of training. The lobby looks great, which is misleading compared to the rooms.

Hi Sorry for wrong Review That was by mistake. The real review for the hotel is very bed. I have to changes 2 rooms even then the room tempract was not ok. Food is breakfast was with very limited access. The only good thing was the location. For Indians it is like a chip Oyo.

Good position, good breakfast but absolutely cold rooms!!!!!!! The ventilation on 20 to 30 degrees was giving cold air!!!! Caught a really nice cold because of you, thanks. Also, the soap is only liquid, not a minus, but just so you know.

Nice central located hotel. Very conveniently placed whilst visiting. Although there was building works at the time it didn't hinder the stay at all. Good value for money and lovely staff.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel, the room was comfortable, cleaned every day and good quality towels were provided. The location is really good and the young guys and gieat the reception were very welcoming. I Don t give it a five stare rate because there wasn't a kettle in the room. Anyway, it s a minor issue and I do recommend this hotel
