I would give six stars if possible. Radisson Blu Budapest was an oasis for us on a scorching hot day. Flawless and polite check-in, large, well air-conditioned room, and a lovely lobby. Newly renovated and well equipped gym and spa area, outstanding breakfast, all in a central location. Staff was always smiling and helpful. Highly recommend for a trip to Budapest.

Radisson by name but not by quality. Positive aspects include the very good location, the underground parking garage (which was full when we arrived), the breakfast selection, and the fair price. The negative parts are all related to the room itself. Cleanliness is lacking, the temperature is too hot even with air conditioning, and the sound proofing is simply awful (you could hear guests from other rooms snoring during the night).

Thank you very much for a fantastic stay in Budapest. It was our first time and it was easily the best city we have ever visited. Your rooms are fresh, clean and the bedding is to die for!!! The hotel is beautiful and the staff were so welcoming and helpful!! Thank you very, very much. (P.S. thank you also to the receptionist who helped us track down our airport taxi in which my son left his phone. The driver made a speedy return to the airport with the phone. Thank you!! ).

The location of the hotel is central and the service was decent. The breakfast buffet was nice as well. They gave small things to do for our kid which was thoughtful. However we had booked the family room but it was too small even to move around. We could not even open our suitcase for that reason I am giving three stars.

The best of the best, just outstanding service and quality. All the staff was lovely with my little dog, the rooms gorgeous, beds , sheets , pillows, mattresses extremely comfortable, they smelled like toasty floral almonds. Please pay the breakfast if you go, it really worth it , was just amazing, national and american options, fresh salmon everyday, variety of cheeses, fresh fruits, cured ham, the a la carte eggs were outstanding, a hive for you to harvest your honey for your tea!! The staff will bring to our table a water bowl for our dog every morning, they treat our dog like a princess and gave us a special spot at breakfast so we could take her with us. Check the pictures. Thanks for making our stay the most pleasant. We felt in heaven and my dog as well!!

This hotel is a very good choice to stay for citybreak in Budapest! All sightseeings are few minutes away by taxi and 5-6€ cost. Room was very well equipped- toiletries, very good coffee machine with capsules and super comfy bed and pillows! Breakfast is very good, almost all you may want. Lobby is nice and personnel super friendly. On the ground floor there are very good cafe recommended by locals with large choice of food and sweets!

A wonderful hotel in Budapest. In the very center, a 10-minute walk from the Parliament and the embankment. Many restaurants, bars. Transport junction 👌🏻 Perfectly comfortable in everything. 🛋️The rooms are very comfortable, clean, everything is renovated and smells)) there is a coffee machine, a kettle, a minibar. White bedding, soft bed. TV with channels in different languages (Hungarian, French, English, German, Spanish). ☕️ breakfast - buffet from 6:45-11. Very tasty, diverse. In general, we are delighted.

Excellent customer service, great breakfast, clean room. Our request for late check out was fulfilled promptly. The only rather negative matter is the cost compared to the size of the room.

This hotel fully met my expectations. Staff is very kind and equipped with good English skills. The lobby and rooms are pretty nice, and what is even more important - super clean. The cleaning stuff is there on time, makes sure the room looks flawless. There is everything you need in the room. It was pretty quiet, beds were comfortable. Amazing. Recommendations from me.

Clean, tidy, neat rooms. Its located in a place with restaurants around, groceries around, pharmacies. Easy access getting to attractions with all modes of transportation around the area. Friendly, helpful, kind staff. The cafe had a lovely dessert the globe. Must try.

Modern and clean hotel. Good location, well connected by public transport plus walking distance (20 minuted) to Basilica and Parliament. Breakfast has a large variety of foods BUt it is more about quantity than quality.

Stayed there for four nights. Rooms are big enough, well equipped with a big TV, Nespresso coffee machine, Italian shower. Daily cleaning was always quick and spotless Fresh water and cookies always available at the reception Only down point would be its location, indeed it’s a bit far from the heart of Pest (15/20min walking)

This is by far one of the nicest hotels I have been. Bed was super comfortable, clean rooms and bathrooms, there was a mini fridge in our room. They have a fitness center, indoor parking (paid separate), bar/pastry shop, and a souvenir store. It is very central located near the city center, there are lots of restaurants, bars, shopping nearby. Staff was super friendly and the buffet breakfast was delicious. They had eggs, sausage, salmon, cold cuts, cheese, fried potatoes, hash brown, pastries, variety of breads, fruits, yogurt, fried veggies and regular veggies, coffee, juice, and tea. Excellent!

In the city, close to most of the attractions (the best way to get around is to rent a bicycle, but the public transport is also very cheap and fast). Rooms are renovated, nice furnitures (although the room feels a bit smaller compared to other places, like during renovation they separated rooms to have 2 rooms from 1, but of course it is still enough for a stay for 2). Our room was cleaned nicely. We were satisfied with our stay at the hotel.

Hotel location is excellent, so many attractions are 20-25 minutes away from you + the staff are helpful in the reception but the concierge service and the cleaning service was not that great, nobody offered to take our luggage when we came in and the cleaning level of the rooms is not up to standards, they don't replace your towels or properly make your bed. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay with variety breakfast items in the buffet.

Spent the Xmas holidays in this hotel with my family. The location is great and the staff was super-friendly and kind. Budapest had great sightseeing places and overall we had a wonderful time here.

Very nice hotel in a nice location in beautiful Budapest. But don't expect any refill of your water in the room. 1 bottle (sparkling and still) for the whole length of your stay! Ordering extra water can only be paid in cash and not on the room bill! Incredible for such hotel that you don't get water and they just don't serve you. So buy enough drinks outside in a supermarket is my advice.

The hotel is top class. Centrally located. Very clean, big, spacious and airy rooms. The staff is very professional. Their in house cafe is very nice. Nice selection of desserts and savouries. Good coffee Highly recommended for a luxurious stay.

The location is good near metro, shops and restaurants. But the hotel service and standard is lacking for a Radisson Blu brand. Firstly the room has quality issues. My first night aircon was not working and the next day they sent technician to fix it. After 45 mins, they left and claim it is fixed but it was obviously not fixed. I requested for a change of room and it was hesitantly given and not apology for inconvenience to guest. In my new room the soap cradle is loose and face mirror tilt is faulty. Two bottles of water was given on the first day but not replenished at all in my 4 nights there. All the staff seems to be grouchy and it seems like none of them were trained to greet guest or even smile. Pity. It has potential to be a nice hotel

Very comfortable bed and room. It is about 10-15 minutes to the main attractions but near many restaurants. The safe in our room was broken, but we just left our passports and such in a backpack in the room, and it was fine. Nice toiletries and Nespresso included. AC was great since it was hot!

For a friendly price we got a really great stay at Radisson hotel. I was surprised to be in a luxury hotel, near the main station and not far from the center of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even when we're in a loud location we heard nothing in the room. We slept very well. I can only recommend this place.

Room is a bit small exactly like the pictures the space behind bed is miror only but room and toilet are super clean and packed with everything that anyone can need even threads and needles , service is slow and only one bottle of still water is provided for the whole stay -location is considered far from the center but near to a big mall , metro and bus stop .

Staff really helpfull. Clean and fresh hotel . Breakfast room is clean and big with the food excellent . Ivd been staying here for 4 years on and off and I'm never disappointed.

Not bad. It's a conference-type hotel so a bit generic. Staff were helpful and breakfast was excellent . Location is great and central. My room was smallish and so had mirrors on the walls to make it feel bigger, but it was clean. However it faded the interior of the block so it was a pretty grim looking view

My stay at Radisson Blu was absolutely amazing! The hotel exudes luxury, the service is top-notch, and the amenities are unparalleled. From the comfortable rooms to the impeccable hospitality, every aspect of my experience was superb. I had an unforgettable time and highly recommend this hotel for a truly indulgent stay.

The good part of this hotel is that it is places near city center, 10-15 minutes walk. Beside this I cannot see any other good point. The bad parts of this hotel are: - the hotel is advertised with parking on all platforms which is a big SCAM, they don't have parking available because the parking is full all the time (to small and it costs 25 EUR per day if you are lucky to have a free spot). - the prices which they practice is for a luxury hotel but instead you get dirty floor carpets and a small room cramped with old furniture - plates and cutlery are dirty for breakfast, I have shown dirty plates to the staff and they treated me like " What are you talking about this is normal here, GTFO". - there are only 3 elevators which are not enough for the number of rooms which they have - bathroom drain tub was with rust and mold.

It was such an amazing choice and experience to stay and go with this option. I selected it as I was also planning to propose to my partner. The event team helped me SO MUCH and, in cooperation with the reception and reservation Team, I felt so calm and confident that everything would go as planned. Thank you so much EVERYONE.

Hotel is quite impressive looking at the lobby, we've got high floor (8) room, which was OK, with enough space and most amenities, including good coffee machine. Reception staff is good but not very efficient. Breakfast - good, lots of options, eggs made to order which I really liked. Underground parking is expensive and rather tight, but surely very safe. Internet connection was good, but with some hiccups. Looking at the downsides, the check-in process was very long, like 30+ mins. Room is heated only by AC which is difficult to control and noisy. On high floors you can't open the windows at all, not even slightly. Lifts are noisy and feel like they need rather urgent maintenance.

The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection, and we thoroughly enjoyed it (it was better than Hilton's we later had). It included some Hungarian food, not just a standard western style breakfast buffet, which made it even more enjoyable. Ah, make sure to try the cappuccino. It was delightful.

Nice hotel, with good location and excellent breakfast. Rooms are a bit oddly shaped wich make them feel a bit cramped, but that doesn't necessarily feel uncomfortable or unappealing. Bars and restaurants/fast foods for easy grabs nearby. Budapest must see locations in walking distance. I personally enjoyed my stay, so much so that I've already made another booking. P.S. They have underground parking wich for me is a big plus.

Stayed here in November for three nights prior a Japan trip. Booked a standard room and got upgraded to the largest suite, as being a Radisson VIP member. The staff during check-in was nice and accomodating. The suite was in the old part of the building with high windows, a large sofa, two tv, coffee maker and two bathrooms. We loved it. We also found a small snack and water in the room with a welcome card from the manager. The breakfast was nice and well done, however you should go early otherwise it will get full quickly. The house keeping was really slow. Two times we had to call in to get the room made up in the late afternoon. This is an area for improvement. One time when we called, the male receptionist was rude, which I found very unprofessional. Checkout was a blaze again, with the food discount applied correctly.

I have slept really well along the trip in Budapest. The pillow and bed are so good. The housekeeper changes the towel and cleans the bin every day. The staff are service minded. We can leave the luggage safely before check in and after check out. The location nears department store and bus stop. Really worth payment!

The girls at the front were very nice even though I asked the same question several times they didn't loose patience with me and were very kind. The "ice pop" itself was delicious and it was 100 vegan. I happen to have a life threatening allergy to milk so I would instantly feel if anything even touched milk. Very recommended 👌🏻

Beautiful room (recently has gotten a massive renovation, we had the suite), the public areas such as the lobby and restaurant were also clean, modern, etc. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we're comfortable. The suite also had some really nice bsthrooms, with great facilities, such as mirror heating up to prevent fog and a speaker from the living room TV.

Nice hotel, good and tasty breakfast. Big parking. A little bit annoying the sound of the police and ambulance wich are passing by very often.

Hotel is located in a nice area, close to city center but far from the noise. Rooms was spacious, clean, even if is a 4* hotel they are not offering slippers Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options and healthy choices. Great coffee, which is rare at many hotels:) Disliked · Staff at the reception was pretty slow, I had to wait above 20 minutes for the check in process, it was the longest check-in ever...at the end to discover he gave us the wrong room, lucky there was no one in the room when we checked the card. Parking lot is very tight and spots are small, should be better signalized the one way route.

Beautiful place with big space. The service is very friendly and the staff is as well. Last time I only ordered a lemon tea, but the it was presented was fascinating. Classy, very classy. This is a high value place with a great lounge. Will certainly come back here more.

Probably the best value for money you can find. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are comfy and staff takes good care of their guests. The hotel is away from the crowded city centre but close to 4/6 tram (which takes you just about anywhere) and M1 and M3 metro lines, which take you just about anywhere you'd want to go as a visitor. Also, the Nyugati station, where trains to Bratislava, Brno and Prague leave from is mere 3-4 minutes walk away which is very convenient (and there's a shopping mall too). All of this comes at a very good price tag as well, making it a no-brainer for me to stay during my visits to Budapest.

I have to say that rarely I have found such good hotels. As you can see in the pictures the hotel is very well cleaned, rooms have many details on lights, music, free water, tidiness.. Really great. Then, fantastic breakfast and really enjoyed the service as well. Absolutely recommended

It is a fancy hotel with polite staff. The beds are comfortable, the toiletries smell good and you can prepare your own espresso in the room. Coffee was refilled every day. We also had tea, hot chocolate and complimentary water. We were told from the beginning that we had to pay for the parking at check-out. Everywhere in Budapest you pay for the parking. The hotel is close to many landmarks. We like walking so we visited the city on foot. You have to try their cakes, especially the Globe and Madrigal.

Really really nice hotel. The spa area was amazing. I went there almost every morning and had a nice avocado toast for breakfast afterwards. The cleaning staff would be available almost the whole day and was always refilling coffee and milk. Staff in general was nice as well.

This hotel was surprising. It exceeded my expectations. It was picked by our tour group and I expected a "cheap" facility. The look of the hotel is expensive looking on the inside. The food was excellent. The room was spotless and had U.S. plugs. Although small, the room was very nice with a nice size bathroom and huge shower.

  • 3/5 Farid M. 2 years ago on Google
not really the best service. The hotel is beautiful, great building and setup however they lacked service. First Tamas at the reception " if he don't like you he won't smile, he will give you a bad room and he will tell his colleague in Hungarian not to help " that was my first impression very unwelcoming from him however the colleague who checked me in was nicer. Housekeeping issues, dust on the floor, under the bed and under any corner. i have a problem with dust i asked twice to hoover my room and it was done once in 6 nights stay. i had to ask to open the window so i won't get sick. I understand the problem because they only have one housekeeping lady for entire floor without help definitely she's over tired and hotel seems that they don't supervise. Same with public areas only Georgina who does the cleaning and it is not enough. the only person who was truly truly helpful and gave the best service is Istavan from banqueting and his breakfast team, he is the one who truly provided a 5 star service and smiled every time we spoke, everyone in the hotel should learn from him. without this i would have rated 1 star.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel for 5 nights. The room and bathroom is updated, comfortable and large. Plenty of storage and good lighting. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

great looking hotel, wonderful and central location, beautiful entrance and lobby, fantastic staff! unfortunately tho very thin walls/doors. of which the latter can’t be closed in a “silent” way… in order for anyone ( at least on the 7th floor ) to close their door you have to slam it which can be heard through all rooms. unsure how this has not been addressed yet to change the locking mechanism to allow the door to naturally fall into it’s lock. this will wake you up at night etc. otherwise great hotel!

I travel a lot but this week was the first time staying in a Radisson Hotel. The overall experience was very good! The room was very nice, bed very confortable! I will surely stay again in Radisson hotels and also, in my next trip to Budapest, this hotel will probably be one of the top choices.

Great location to most attractions. Just a quick walk to the basilica, opera house, vorosmarty square, parliament, fashion street etc. Very clean and friendly staff. Great places to eat just outside the door. Also super easy to catch any transit from if you’re going to the other side of the river. Super convenient to get to and from the airport on transit.

Lovely hotel, great quality rooms and facilities. Breakfast had a good range of self service and a la carte items. Nice gym. Friendly staff. A little way out of the hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants in the town centre.

I stayed here last weekend with my Partner. Our room was beautiful, very clean with comfortable beds. All staff were extremely friendly and accomdating. The hotel is in a perfect location for us especially being our first time in Budapest. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Good location. Good breakfast with variety of different options. Rooms are clean, comfortable, cozy. Staff is friendly. Pillows and beds are far from ideal in terms of comfort. Some amenities you need to ask for like slippers, shower gel. Bottom line is it's a nice place to stay when visiting the city. Good value for price, but don't expect luxury hotel.
