Super hotel in absolutely the best location … right next to the Danube river and chain bridge plus near fashion street, the Ferris wheel, shopping area, Starbucks, casino, Basilica, and all the cafes…. Great value and highly recommended hotel bang in the centre of everything you want to see and do !!

Let's start with the location, this is the only reason you want to book this hotel. You are literally at the edge point of everything. Get out of the hotel, turn left - walk 200 meters and you take the tram/bus to go anywhere on Buda or the Pest side. Come out of the hotel and turn Right, keep walking straight and you are at the fashion street. Greeted with Hard Rock Cafe, Budapest right at the corner (more on HR cafe in their direct review). The rooms are Small, if you are two ppl in the room with two suitcases, then there is no space to move around. While you find a lot of metal hanging in the room to try and give a different vibe to the room. It doesn't really help. These are functional rooms designed to only let you sleep when needed but not to chill in the room. The breakfast was WOW! better than most of the Central Europe hotels and the service staff is very friendly. Location wins for this place, hands down.

This hotel is good choice if you want to walk around the city because it is nearby all the nice Touristic attractions. The breakfast is good the staff are super friendly. The room are quite good the bathrooms are bit small and only with shower box.

First, the location is 10/10, unbeatable. The hotel looks and feels brand new. the design is fresh, modern and unique. stuff was friendly and helpful. we were satisfied by the room. bed was very comfortable and the AC worked as expected. there was a chain lock on the door which added an extra layer of security and made as feel safer. the Wifi was surprisingly good, not obvious for most of the hotels. there wasn't enough vegan options at the breakfast.

This hotel is amazing! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit snug but they work wonders with using the space effectively. I was really impressed with the breakfast (which is included). Great way to start off the day to tour this beautiful city! 🙏

A very clean and modern hotel on the Pest side with excellent staff. A lot of the attractions are walkable from the hotel. The Christmas Market is within walking distance. Basic amenities are in the room, and you can request extras like body lotion, tooth paste, etc. The breakfast buffet is amazing! Keep up the great work!

Great location/hub for exploring Budapest. Modern and very clean. Air conditioning perfect. Comfy beds. The staff are friendly. Good breakfast selection. Only negative would be there's no view, but that's not a problem really. Your minutes away from fantastic views along the Danube.

This getaway for a surprise for my 50th. Hotel was 5 min walk to Chain bridge, where funicular 🚠 went up to the Castle!. Breakfast was a huge choice where everything and replenished consistently. Tables cleaned and all staff polite, friendly and great level of English. Modern and comfortable rooms. Budapest is a beautiful place, highlight was a boat trip at 19.00 to see the city light up!!! Would recommend hotel to anyone. Thank you so much!!

cant honestly review the hotel itself, because we booked the room and due some issues with their reservation they can not accommodate us. But i can give five star for approach they took, when they booked us 5star hotel as replacement and make sure we have a place to sleep after 12hours in car. Beautiful hotel in the centre of Budapest so near to Danube River where you can begin your exploration of the city.The stuff is very polite and the rooms are very nice.I fully suggest it.

We stayed 4 nights for my partners birthday, they prepared a little card and some chocolates for him! Perfect location. Quiet but close to main attractions. Very walkable area and lots of restaurants around. I suggest you use the bubi app to rent a bicycle nearby and explore the city even more. Breakfast was good, choice of different fresh breads, eggs, cheeses, salami, pancakes, tea, coffee, sweets. 24/7 reception and table tennis table available in the courtyard. Room was not too spacious but that was okay for us as we only stayed a few nights. Tv with international channels and room was fully air conditioned. Clean bathroom, bed and pillows were a little bit too hard for me but I got used to it, my partner loved it so I guess its a personal thing. Overall I would definitely choose this Hotel again when in Budapest!

Location, location, location! If you want a cheerful hotel smack in the middle of town, within walking distance of most attractions in Budapest, at a reasonable price, it's a good choice. Good breakfast too. Rooms are pleasant but very small, and service could be improved (bed was not made or made quickly, toiletries were not always replaced).

Excellent and fashion designed Hotel just in the high street of Budapest. In the same street with shops and few embassies around. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Nice rooms. A top level lobby with games bar with big screen. Continental breakfast was delicious.

Great value hotel for how centralized it is. A lot of attractions very close by, everything can be walked to or reached by the subway. The breakfast is very, very good. A bit annoying that one elevator was down, but stuff breaks sometimes, that's to be expected. Room cleaning was excellent, beds were very comfortable, the rooms were nice and modernized, and the TV was large. If I come back to Budapest, I will very likely find myself back at D8 again!

Had a great one night stay here and would definitely stay again. The price was right and the front desk staff were friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and I’m not easily impressed when it comes to cleanliness. I recommend checking out the breakfast, it was enjoyable and the staff works hard to keep everything well stocked.

Breakfast buffet is a bit of a disaster. The line for coffee was long. The scrambled eggs were disgusting 🫣. It tasted like something was in them. Check in process was smooth. The girl was nice. Bathroom is tiny. Mattress is hard.

Once again I stayed at D8, my usual place when I visit Budapest. Nice modern rooms (although small), clean, friendly staff, superb location, and prices are OK. Maybe some possible improvements on the breakfast, but definitely a very good choice for all your trips to Budapest centre.

Met up with a friend who is staying there. She said her room is nice. We had drinks and dessert in the lobby lounge area. Very pleased overall. We both thought it was rather strange that they could not charge the tab to the room.

D8 Hotel is a newly built hotel in the centre of Budapest. I must say that this was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in this city, if not the best. The staff is highly professional and helps you with everything you need. They even told us to call them when we needed a taxi if we were out somewhere in the city. That is good service. The hotel itself is modern and has a good looking design. There is a nice bar with good bartenders also. We did not try the breakfast, but I'm sure that's also good. The locations is within walking distance to almost everything you need when you're in Budapest. I highly recommend staying here!

What a fantastic hotel to stay in while in Budapest. All staff are friendly and welcoming. A perfect location 200m from the shops and the river Danube. Lovely clean rooms. Excellent breakfast choice. With I could have taken the pancake machine home. Definitely recommend this hotel for a visit and I will be staying here again on my next visit to Budapest.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay at the D8. It s well located near the river and central within the centre of Budapest, a short walk to most sights. The hotel was clean and welcoming and had a decent selection for breakfasts.

I had no bad words about this newly built hotel, from service, to food quality and the stay it self. The staff at reception were amazing from checking us in to even going the extra mile to calling the airport for our lost camera. The rooms are very modern and clean and kept tidy. The bar area is lovely and do nice drinks. Would highly recommend if in Budapest.

A few minutes walk from the end of the Chain Bridge. A great location on a pedestrian street so no traffic noise. Rooms are small but comfortable, functional and spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the usual continental affair but plentiful and the pastries are awesome. Would highly recommend this place.

My stay at the D8 Hotel was absolutely flawless. Breakfast provided was very nice and plenty of options. An easy commute to other parts of the city with Metro stations easily accessible by short walks. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for 3 nights, enjoyed it a lot, small but comfortable rooms. Very nice breakfast, and impressed that they keep restocking even up to the end of breakfast time. Great location for exploring the city. Road outside not loud at all so no disturbances. Provided luggage storage after we checked out for a few hours.

We booked this hotel for it's proximity to the chain bridge and how walkable everything would be. Unfortunately the Chain Bridge was under renovation when we arrived (my bad), but even so everything we want to do is easily walked to. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The rooms are small but has everything we need and more. I'll stay here for any future trips to this beautiful city.

Cozy and welcoming, it does make you feel like home. Plenty of choices for breakfast, wonderful, warm people and absolutely great location. 1 min from the river and from the high street, but still on a quiet dead-end road. Nothing luxurious and over the top. Exactly what you need to feel like home.

Very nice hotel with excellent location and very friendly service. The space is well designed and the decoration is very new with style. The only improvement potential is the breakfasts , specifically in scramble egg and bacon, not well cooked. It's also missing fruit

Great modern, new and clean rooms at a very fair price. One missing star for the breakfast. It has good options but the quality of it is very low. From the juice to the eggs/sausage/cheese are from the lowest quality. I think it would be worth to invest a bit more in the breakfast since it's not in accordance with the hotel itself.

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is awesome, walking distance from all the big monuments and not even a minute walk from the river. Rooms were a bit small but that waw the only negative thing. Modern decor and great service. Also great variety of food in breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is newly renovated and it looks great. You can see "the hand" of a designer. We were very happy to see that the service is also very good. The reception team welcomed us with a big smile and helped us with info about the city.

Great breakfast; close walking distance to public transportation, downtown attractions and boat docks. We stayed here prior to our Grand European cruise for a third of the cost where Viking sends you for pre or post excursions. Rooms are on small side as expected. Service was great.

It's not a cheap hotel so I expected a bit more. I requested the room to be cleaned but I stayed for 4 nights and the sheets were the same which is crazy!! The floor did not look clean or cleaned as well. Anyways, this being said, it is in a good location and breakfast is ok, so I'm trying to be "fair". Being in a place that is clean is very important to me, specially if I'm paying for it...
