We were a group of 27 people we had 13 rooms, we had asked the night guy that was by the front desk if we could use the back bar are to pray 7am, he said sure no problem because the bar doesn't open until 430pm. It came 7am we started to pray then the girl that was at the front desk came and said we need to leave we asked why she said we can't pray we asked are we allowed to talk in the lobby she said yes so we were talking she said again that we have to leave the area so we went outside she came outside and started again that we need to leave we can't pray even outside. It was disgusting of her to act like they acted 70 years ago. We would like to hear back from the management

Best price-for-value hotel! There's no better location than this! Everything in Budapest is in walking distance. We crossed the entire city by foot when the hotel was the center of our circle. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is great. The rooms are not specious. However, we didn't need them to be - we were out 90% of the day. There's an option for breakfast at the hotel, but there are a ton of restaurants and cafes in the near vicinity of the hotel, so options are in abundance. Will definitely stay here again next time in Budapest.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and is very clean. The location is simply unbeatable - in the heart of the Jewish quarter and only 3 minutes walk from the Airport bus that runs 24/7. It is in a cul de sac (Asboth utca) so you have the added bonus of complete peace and quiet in a zone that is infamous for its late night wine and dine culture. The housekeeping and reception staff are courteous and hospitable. I wish to mention Miss Alexandra and Mr. Aria who were super friendly and keen to help (umbrella, bag storage, city into etc.) They are the individuals I had most interaction with but the other two receptionists (a male and a female whose name I forgot) were also great. The positive vibes made me feel I was in a home away from home and it compensated for the fact that the rooms in the second week of November were cold at night because the central air conditioning system was switched off. For guests sake I hope they are switched on by now because night temperature is almost freezing (I recommend guests inquire specifically about this before completing their reservation).

BREAKFAST SCAM!!! They lied about inclusion and then charge you- Beware! To add insult to injury they turn around and questioned my integrity claiming I knew I had to pay for breakfast. The Manager and Reception staff went on full assault rather than admitting they created a misunderstanding and having me pay for their incompetence anyways. Common practice is to let people know whether their room includes breakfast and then give them the option to pay for it seperately.

The room had very unpleasant smell in the bathroom all the time. The beds are NOT comfortable. All and all it would have been an “ok” experience until i found out not only the bed was not comfortable - I booked a double bed room and asked it specifically in the reservation. And got 2 beds joined together instead of a real double bed, which i only realized on the last night when they suddenly separated on me.. When i came to the reception, the unpleasant and not really service wise Beatriz told me this is MY problem that I didn’t say anything before and this was the last night! Never ever going to this shameless hotel again

The hotel experience was fair, and it does have an ideal location in central Budapest. The staff however, is another story. The reception accused us of not paying for a cup of coffee after another staff member told my wife and I that it was complimentary. I’ve never had an experience like that at a hotel and just seemed out of place and unprofessional. To add insult to injury that same staff member triple checked that I actually paid for parking the night before.

We arrived in the morning after a night flight, we were tired and all we wanted was to get to the room, from the moment we arrived we were treated nothing less than perfect and already at ten in the morning they told us that our room was ready and that we could have it. The staff was amazing, they helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was stunning. A highly recommended hotel, we really enjoyed ourselves.

i booked for extra night so we can have early check in, and i called the reception one day before to confirm, but when we check in, they said they dont have the information. the lady who answer my phone said she is the hotel manager and she said they ran all the reservation into no show.

Good but not perfect. Stayed for 3 nights with colleagues. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. First night I showered I managed to cut my toe in the shower. Likely from a sharp tile edge. Luckily it healed fast from the fine line cut. All 7 of us all suffered separately in hot rooms with air con that didn't work. We checked with the reception and they admitted it only heats this time of year as it's cold outside. Well it was scorching in the hotel so they should have it on!! Breakfast buffet was varied and vast. Location is great for restaurants, bars and metro stops.

The rooms were fine, could have been a bit cleaner, there were some hairs in the bathroom and on the bed. Good location, really close to everything. Breakfast was good.

The BEST hotel in Budapest without a doubt! This is my 4th time staying at Eurostars Danube and I loved everything! Starting from the clean and polished room, the delicious breakfast and the dedicated stuff who do everything for the satisfaction of the guests. Everything was just perfect. I'll definitely come back again soon.

Nothing but praise! Their staff is absolutely top notch! They provided exceptional service from the start! Being greeted by Aria and Catherine was delightful, and then our concerns were addressed promptly by the Hotel Manager Ms Garisoain! Couldnt Express the joy we had staying in this hotel! Made our whole trip worthwhile

Had a fantastic four night stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and answered all our questions. The rooms were clean and as advertised. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Budapest in the future.

location is perfect👏less than 5 minutes away from bus stop or metro station. if you take flight, bus line 100E provides 24-hour direct airport access to the hotel which is really convenient! Service is also really perfect. The only shortage is you cant get city view from your room.

Stayed for 4 nights Monday to Friday in February. Pros: room was clean, staff are lovely, breakfast had excellent variety and quality, and location was ideal. Cons: the room was very hot and air con is switched off during the winter. Staff at reception could only suggest opening the windows (which open a few inches). Bins are collected daily and it's there is a busy night life around the hotel so each morning we were woken up by the bin lorries as the windows needed to be left open.

If not the location everything else about this hotel is not worth it. We booked a superior room with my wife and the room is far from superior. The lady on the reception was absolutely not a good fit for a receptionist overall and it dragged to the bottom our experience. Parking is difficult as every time you have to ask someone on reception to open it for you so you have to leave the car walk for a couple of minutes ask to someone to open the gate than walk back and park your car. I really wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Great hotel, my friends stayed here after a Airbnb disaster, their room was huge and had a patio. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and gave us all towels for the Szechenyi Baths and shampoo and bags for our swimsuits.

We are very disappointed!! 1.We arrived at 10:00 am, after a sleepless night. The receptionist Angela was so rude to us, we asked for coffee(we wanted to pay of course) she didn’t show any intention in serving us. 2.On Sunday we arrived to breakfast at 10:45 and they close at 11:00. while closing the buffet (that took them some time) they turned off the lights on us in the hall. 3. We added one night and paid for it full price because we wanted to leave at 19:00, we came back to the room at 16:00 to find it not cleaned up at all. If one star given - its just because of THERESA - one kind and very amazing receptionist who tried her best everytime we asked for something.

It was a safe place to stay, but I wouldn’t book here again. The most notable problem were their pillows. They felt like pieces of toast, were thin, and couldn’t be squished/adjusted. I ended up with a severe neck pain because of these pillows. I couldn’t move my neck for a few days and had pain for over a week. That definitely put a damper on my vacation. Other things of note were the stains on the curtains, rips in the duvet and office tape to patch up peeling wall paper. The breakfast was like a standard continental breakfast that you’d get in an average American hotel for free — the food was low quality but there were more options than normal. I personally wouldn’t pay for that breakfast.

Had a great stay here. Immaculately clean everywhere, very helpful staff. Would have liked a bigger seating area for coffee and general relaxing. There's no restaurant, just a breakfast bar, but the breakfast itself was perfect. Perfectly located to explore Budapest. Convenient to the metro and airport connections. Would definitely go back.

My staying was pleasant. A good old school English breakfast and the most important for me, a quite room ! Also the location there is excellent, you have access to all the public transportation only by walking 5-10 minutes and you are 10-20 away (walking) from the Budapest nightlife. Quite and safe area. Totally recommended!

We booked 2 rooms for us and for our children and ask for them to be close to each other. It was hot day. We got 2 rooms on 4th flour. The air-con was not working in one of the rooms. It is off-season and covid time. Hotel is defiantly not full. They offered us to move one room to 6th flour. We refused since we couldn’t leave the children 2 flours down. After a while, they found 2 rooms on 6 th. We moved our things and left out to tour the city. When we got back around midnight we found out that one of the rooms was not cleaned after previous guest!!!!

Great location in the city centre, lots of restaurants and bars nearby but still the room was very quiet. We had a great sleep as the bed was massive and very comfortable and a/c was perfect. The room was small but we did not come to Budapest to sit all day in our room. Bathroom could be an issue as it is literally 30cm from your bed and the sliding door do not isolate well or offer privacy, so definitely not for the couples in their honeymoon phase :). The decorative sheets on bed were stained and never received any new ones (not that we care much about that). The rest was spotless however one could do some maintenance works in the rooms. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, another hotel buffet. Would deff recommend as we got an amazing night sleep and due to location we had not used the public transport at all in our 3 days stay. Amazing staff, very smiley and helpful no matter the time.

    - The good: VERY professional TEAM at reception. Angie, Aaron, Diego, Gita, and two more i dont remember the name. They have a very good mood and attitude. Perfect check in of an avalanche of a bus with 70 People on july 29th. - The less good: nothing

We got the superior room with balcony. Very spacious room. We slept hours more than normally. Due to Covid -19 the breakfast is served 50 meters down the street in a restaurant. The hotel is very quiet, although it is in the city center. We would book again next time we visit Budapest.

Found this place great. Much easier than getting a plane. All the staff are lovely. It's easy to find your way around and a lot quicker than any other means of transport. Made the whole trip and experience much more pleasant!

Best location, perfectly clean, warm and kind stuff members- including the breakfast team, the receptionis- Beatrice! The manager was very nice and everything was just perfect. The room (superior) was very clean, warm and with a big bathroom. Breakfast was very good as well. Highly recommended for those who wish to have a wonderful stay in Budapest.

First of all the staff was absolutely amazing! The manager Angie was so nice and welcoming, made us feel at home. The staff- Alvaro was amazing and also Beatriz and Theresa. Such a great staff and so nice and helpful. Angie and Alvaro especially made our stay the most pleasant it can be. Every need that we had was met. We even had an incident with a drunk person and Beatriz protected us like a lioness. The most wonderful treatment I have ever received in a hotel, you should be proud!

We had a nice stay at the hotel. The room was quiet, clean and modern. The only negative point was the poor service at breakfast. It was constantly half empty, apparently spoons are rare and the kitchen lady was just rude.

I stayed here for 10 days by myself and the staff at Eurostars did everything to make me as comfortable as possible. The front desk staff always says hello and bye and you enter the lobby; the always recognize you & are willing to help with anything and everything. The breakfast and kitchen staff was always so welcoming and helpful, as well. The people at Eurostars make the experience so well worth it.

Stayed in the hotel back on April 2022 with family. The hotel personnel is very helpful and they do great job. We enjoyed the connecting rooms in 2nd floor and the location which is central but in a very quite alley. The breakfast was fine (except the scramble eggs). Highly recommended hotel.

The hotel does not look and neither corresponds to a 4 star hotel status. The only good thing during stay was breakfast. We stayed in Standard double so I do not recommend to book it: room is super small, the bed was all covered in dust, the furniture was all scratched and not looking presentable, the shower floor also all scratched and colored so looks dirty and all disgusting. Unexpected noise at 5 AM and in general it is not quite area to stay (which we did not considered to be loud) The staff was nice, however no one asked about our stay or managed to fulfill the request to and instead of advising that they do not facilities (specifically freezer) to process our request, they took the stuff and in the morning it was not the frozen condition we expected the thing to be. Never again booking this place and do not recommend to stay.

Great hotel, loved it and good locations. But whenever we have a question about the room prices the reception staff becomes very rude... also the room had some ants on the walls which was not pleasant at all.

Our experience on this hotel was amazing!!!!! And the most of our amazing experience is because of your best worker- Beatriz , she was so nice and kind, she served us with a smile and joy of life, and she absolutely make us want to come back to your hotel again. All our family (3 rooms) was be impressed from her. She is the most kind that we ever met!! It was a perfect vacation and most because of Beatriz! Thank you Beatriz, we’re so appreciate that you are like you’re. We will come back soon!!! It was amazing

I really enjoyed my stay in the Eurostars Danube Budapest hotel. The double room was big enough for one or two people, there were drawers and a wardrobe for clothes, a minibar fridge and some tea, enough power sockets and a quite big tv. Breakfast had a variety of sweet pastries, I liked the pancakes with chocolate and caramel sauce best. The mugs were a little bit to big for the portions of coffee coming out of the machine, so the cup was only half full (or half empty ;-) ). The service was kind of "to fast", my plates were already taken away when I finished my last bite. Also the coffee cups were cleaned too soon (probably because they looked half empty). The service at the reception was polite, friendly and helpful. Sometimes, they argued with each other. Furthermore, they forgot to call the taxi to the airport we ordered and had to call it again resulting in us being little late for our flight. All in all, as the location of the hotel is just perfect, I would definitely stay here again.
