It's a shame you can't put negative points, because this hotel would be a minus 10. First: you can see it in the photos. It's the most antiquated thing you will find, but that wouldn't be terrible if it were clean. It is extremely dirty! Second: room cleaning sucks! Mold, dust, noisy aircon (at least you have one) we even found a chewing gum stuck on the floor of the refrigerator. Absolutely disgusting. Third: and not minor! They say they are not responsible for valuables left in the room, that there is a safety deposit box: well, DO NOT USE IT !!!! they stole euros from it; the worst thing is to go and nobody does ANYTHING!!! The answer was... it never happened and we trust the staff, besides they could do it with other rooms. Well, no! I don't care, what I do know is what I was missing. The police are absolutely useless so they take advantage of this. The only positive thing? It was Bernadete who did the check in and the check out guy. Don't ask for the manager because he does NOT exist. It is the worst dirty hole in the universe. Don't even joke about staying here. It is better to walk a few more steps to the center than to fall into this dump.

Nice hotel in a central location. Rooms and accommodation are decent for the price. The staff are good and always around to offer a helping hand 👋🏽. Good for large groups.

Room was clean inside, although the shower was frustrating to use as the shower head shoots directly between the doors and out into the bathroom floor. Previous guest smoked and you can smell it in the room and from the dirty bottle of cigarette water left on the windowsill. You can also hear other guests in their rooms very easily as there is not a lot of sound proofing - not recommended if you have kids as they will hear everything going on next door.

Great experience all around. The gentleman at the reception spoke English, French, and Hungarian! I wouldn't be surprised if he spoke more languages. Their breakfast was great. They were very acommodating and went above and beyond to help us be more comfortable with a toddler. The artwork throughout the hotel is splendid.

False advertising. They turn off the Aircon. So no climate control and no side windows. No information about it. Our room had room windows, not useful in a thunderstorm. Receptionist admitted the aircon is intentionally turned off to save money. Con artist place. Reception is obviously told to not contact manager as I asked to talk to him and they refused. Beggars belief it doesn't have a lower rating.

Cute and very affordable rooms in a great location in Pest. We especially found the staff super friendly and helpful. Almost everything you need is in walking distance and there's is a kiosk and a post office right across from the hotel. The only downside are the very thin walls - we could hear almost everything from the neighbouring rooms. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay though and will most likely come again when visiting Budapest!

It's a nice hotel. Pretty good location. Rooms are fine, although housekeeping has a lot of room to improve. Breakfast not worth the money. Bulgarian flag outside is upside down which means war, but so far such hasn't started.

Nice & comfortable. For a budget hotel, the stay has been very nice. The bed is superior to almost any small hotel I've stayed at in Europe. Well positioned in Budapest with easy access to the metro and tram.

Location is excellent. All metro and bus lines are so close by. We were spoilt for food outlet choices as well.

Great service but not clean rooms with chips and coke under the beds and Pretty Bad location away from center city.

It’s as cheap as it is not great. To no fault of the staff, who are lovely. It’s just a cheap hotel. Don’t expect much for the price! Furniture is old and sheets “escape” during the night cause they are quite small for the mattress.

We came looking just for a central clean and comfort place to sleep, nothing more. On the first night, we got a 2 single-bed room due to some mistake (probably a reservation mistake by Ista, our travel agency, which ordered it from Expedia. Go figure...). It sucked. It wasn't a good room at all. Ruined the first night. However, the staff replaced this with a double bed room for the rest of our stay. It was a decent double+1 bedroom. High ceilings, big windows, and plenty of space. No tea/coffee in the room. No water except bathroom's sink tap water. The toilet had a smell. I hope the hotel takes it seriously and fixes it - it is a no-go otherwise! Room service came at 2pm on our last day, it is too late, we wanted to sleep. So we didn't get room service for one of the nights. All hotel reception workers were super friendly, and the location was good. This was what makes our experience eventually positive!

The towels and bed covers were not perfectly clean. The hotel is cute and old stile. It's fair compare to it's price.

Even though we faced some system-related problems, the hotel's staff were professional and solved them as quickly as possible. I definitely recommend

The place itself is quite old, you can see it due to all the wood furnitures. Bed was below average comfort-wise, ac was ok-ish.

Good location, a bit dated but clean. Ideal location for exploring Budapest

Pros - Super value for money in terms of a European capital city. - Excellent location. - Helpful staff. - Large, quiet rooms with high ceilings and ample storage space. - Good quality air conditioning. Cons - Discreet areas (such as skirting boards and shower basin) were dirty and even mouldy at points. - Shower would come loose from holder if turned up too high, causing it to spray everywhere. - Bed sheet was always put on shoddily and thr beds themselves were clearly worn. - Very outdated.

I really enjoyed my stay at the property, the room was clean and spacious, and the location is fantastic, in walking distance to some fantastic food places and hotspots. I also want to add that the staff at the hotel are absolutely fantastic, very very helpful and will do anything to help you. I want to give a special mention to the special and wonderful Reka, Reka is the most fantastic staff member of a hotel i have met, Reka is very informative and very smart, and provided me with all the information that i could ever need and really made me feel welcomed. I wish all staff members of hotels everywhere were like Reka. I believe the hotel is lucky to have a amazing worker like Reka!

An old hotel with a rather poor breakfast, but you don't expect anything else for this price. Especially considering the good location. I set 2 because of the extremely low level of cleanliness. I have not had such a dirty room in my entire life. Dust is everywhere, garbage lays under furniture, other people's hair all over the bathroom, stains on towels - horrible! The request to clean the room again more carefully failed to produce a result - everything remained just as dirty as was (( P.S. If you take a look at their 3 stars certificate (which hangs at the entrance) you will find that it is expired a few years ago ))

Vintage and stylish hotel close to all sights. Very kind staff. The room was spacious, bright and clean with new carpets on the floors . There is a parking garage 20 m from it and a shop 24/7 even closer. The street is quiet even though it is in the centre. . .

Better than I had expected, considering how cheap it is for such a wonderful location. The rooms are spatious enough and clean, the bathroom is really nice and the hotel itself has a very unique style. The breakfast was not that good though.

Room condition 2/6 (walls dirty, mattresses are worn out). Bathroom in bad condition (water pressure very weak, stone shower tap - water barely flowed, bathroom dirty, no normal door - replacement folding door fitted, requires renovation). It is not possible to regulate the air conditioning (air blows directly onto the bed). The fridge after leaving the room did not work.

Extremely dirty, very unfriendly staff, disgusting breakfast. When I asked for an extra towel they offered me a shower mat. I asked the manager's phone number and they refuse to communicate it. A never again experience!

Nice Priceworthy hotel nice central location in the middle of the party district in Budapest. No breakfast service was the only negative about the visit.

Surprisingly, there're twin beds in my room even though I booked a single room - thus it's cozy. Thanks. Good location in the city with good price. There're many restaurants nearby. Hotel provides good buffet breakfast - simple but adequate for the day. Quick check-in and check-out.

It was a good hotel. The room was spacious, clean and it had a bath tub. The only thing is it didn't have a desk but it did have a beauty table. The place was near a Starbucks and it had various bus stops near so it was easy to go to the touristic places. And it was nice that it had a list of the touristic places near. The services at the reception were really good.

Excellent location, very quaint and sympathetic atmosphere, large rooms and tall ceilings, really helpful and nice staff. Better noise isolation would be better, but it's still perfectly fine. Would definitely stay here again.

At first the room seemed nice. But🤦🏼‍♀️ when we came back from the city at night and the five of is started to take turns to shower, it appeared that the drain in the bathroom floor was clogged and all the filthiness started to flood the floor. The AC seemed not to work properly and since there was no cool air coming from there at all and it was so loud, we decided to turn it off. But somewhere on that floor it was still on and I could only sleep few hours. It was like sleeping in a restaurant kitchen. My bedsheet had tiny holes in it. 4 beds for 5 people. We checked it- they had forgotten to add an extra bed. Other than that location was good, the receptionist spoke english and was friendly, telling us about nearby shop and tram stop. Probably gonna stay somewhere else next time.

The worst experience abroad I've ever had. Old, dirty and without air conditioning. It was hot in June and every time we complained about the air conditioning, they said they had fixed it, but nothing was ever done. When we checked in they promised us a refund on the amount paid, but they never credited anything. If you have the option, choose something else...
