Cleaning is quite superficial. There is a lot of dust on the pictures and shelves, they have probably never been cleaned, and there are a lot of cobwebs in the corners. There was a cockroach on the bathroom floor. Good location. Close to the center and Lidl. Good staff at reception The lock in the room jammed from time to time.

The rooms were quite dusty and could do with a deeper clean, our room wasn't made up very well when being out, bed wasn't made and bin wasn't taken out even though it was full. Although the service was great and it's a perfect location to everything in Budapest. Breakfast buffet was nice too.

I enjoyed my stay- the room was nicely air conditioned so I was very comfortable during my stay. It was a very quiet room which I really appreciated. The staff were helpful and let us leave our luggage for part of the day. I was not a huge fan of the breakfast. I would say the room was good value for money, but the breakfast was a bit expensive.

Even if you give me money, I wouldn't go back. The room was dirty and small. The size of the shower was ridiculous! Called the front desk multiple times, nobody answered. I had to get down to ask a simple question, "can I drink out of tap water?" Yup, that, and I had to take an elevator down. The walls are incredibly thin. You can hear your neighbors as if they were in the room with you. The internet wasn't strong in the room, so you had to get down the lobby to do work. Then came the old man, holy than thou, who works as a manager of this restaurant. Oh my god, I asked him for more instant coffee, and he acted like I was bothering him. When I asked for more than one sticks, he said, "for this, you usually called housekeeper." Usually? I'm not a regular. And no one answered front desk, what do you think non-English-speaking housekeepers can do? With that, he gave me a sharp "good night." Ah, this whole hotel, did I owe you money? I don't. Unbelievable.

Fantastic location. But the room was full of dust, the fridge was filthy dirty and there were stains on the walls. A strange smell came from the carpet. The staff did not greet you when you entered, and the staff were generally not very service minded.

4 days 3 nights stay . Perfect location 5minute walk from Bridge . Loads of reasurants & bars around. Quiet area. Safe area. Staff nice & helpful. Breakfast not great yet for the price it is what it is. Over all a good hotel central location and great price.

Good hotel for a good price. Location is great, city centre, metro just few minutes away. Bed good. Breakfast good. What's not to like :) Recommended. Definitely coming back if in Budapest.

An old, run down hotel with thin walls. My door stuck and could only be closed with strong force (causing loud noise). The bathroom including the toilet seat was not well cleaned and the glasses there were wrapped in plastic while still wet. There were long black hairs on the floor, on one towel and also on a bedsheet. In a different room there was a yellow pill lying on the floor. There was a fridge but no minibar. The portier was unfriendly, but at least helpful. The for hotel-standards minimalistic breakfast was difficult to get as there were insufficuent seats. Some guests had to wait a long time to get access. AC worked fine but was very loud. There was camera surveillance in the corridor which I don't like. The location is fantastic which I guess keeps the hotel afloat.

A very old..need renovation kind of hotel. The location is great, and there are good bars and restaurants around. Staff is bored and unwelcoming. The continental breakfast was boring and the worst in my life. ( and I travel a lot and my favourite usually the breakfast....well bot here).Very overpriced. Have better hotels out there for cheaper.

Before we arrived I had read negative reviews about the treatment from the people of the front desk but when we arrived the man was very kind to us. The room was clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable. Overall very nice experience

We arrived late at night on 23. 11.22 It was very difficult to communicate with the Reception man he was not happy at all that he is on working And on all of my questions he responded to me I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T CARE and the question was where I can find a BUS Parking space..... In the city center you must find where to park bye yourself if you are with a big group of people with a bus no possible to park somewhere around the hotel City centre do not have parking for buses.

We really enjoyed this hotel, it is well located. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was top 10. The staff is very gentle. I recommend it.

Room not cleaned throughly, cigarette stubs under bed. We stayed 3 nights but only had complimentary coffee etc provided on day of arrival, no bottled water at all.

The rooms were fine and staff was friendly. The main advantage of this hotel is the location. But the breakfast offered was pathetic.. do not take the breakfast or take anything from the restaurant even if offered for free. Choose this hotel if the location is your only preference.

The hotel has a perfect location, we were very satisfied. But the middle-aged man at the reception was very arrogant and rolled his eyes when we asked him for something. Never ever. the date was 31.3-2.4 Thank you for the bad experience

The room has not been properly cleaned before we arrived. It seemed as if only the sheets and the towels have been changed (at least I hope so). The bathroom was quite diagusting. There were stains on the toilet seat, in the toilet, on the sink and in the shower. There were also stains on the wall opposite from the bed that I wiped off with disinfectant wipes. The smell in the room was unpleasant due to air-conditioning. Also, the staff is not very friendly. Noone greets you when you for example enter the lobby. As the price was quite high, I was very disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel, if cleanliness is important to you.

Great value for money. Rooms small but well apppointed. Great shower head. Breakfast more than you can handle. Location perfect to all parts of the city, walking as well to 2 close subway stations.

Nice beautiful Hotel, three stars, but also is the breakfast poor, scramble eggs, fried eggs, some pastry and croissant, cereals, jam. The housekeeping doesn't do a good job, some of the staff are rude, they call us at midnight for loud music but we were sleeping, he didn't even apologised. NICE beautiful Hotel, but need to do better with the staff.

Decent hotel to stay at if you just need a place to stay however the photos are slightly deceiving as they show newly renovated rooms but you will most likely receive an outdated room. The windows only open a crack and if you are unlucky enough to be on the top floor it gets very hot very fast! Even with the cold weather of February, we was sweating through the night making it difficult to sleep.

Stayed 3 nights at the hotel. Front receptionists are very polite and helpful. Room was on the first floor but surprisingly very quite although on the front side of hotel. Room was reasonable good size and very well kept. On a negative note is the breakfast were food is served in a very closed size area and people literally cramped in each other. At least the coffee machine must be placed in another area. In view of the current global pandemic, this area must be better organized. Also, food must be better served and available during the whole time.

Great hotel with a central location! A number of bars and restaurants near by and assess to public transport. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The buffet was horrible. The hotel was fully occupied, but, only 2 people were working, cleaning and serving in the cafeteria. Tables with dirty dishes, the fruit... look at the pictures... The room looks smaller than the 20 m2 I read in the description, the equipment of the bathroom needs a change... I didn't expect that from a big hotel in the center of Budapest.

This is my first day and I had a hopeless expérience with this horrible hotel. There wasn't water in the room and I asked the receptionist and the reply I get is that I came at 10pm. Whatever time I come one bottle of water is the least service they can do. I am irritated the very first day. It's better not to stay here when you have children. My baby was very thirsty she isn't a year old yet and they told me they can't do anything about it

Budget hotel. No cafeteria. No room service. No room cleaning, only on request. Room is clean though by own choice

The doors could not be close so you had go slam them waking everyone up, you could hear the street nose early in the morning and opposite room coughing due to the old building. The breakfast selection was very poor not much choice when you paid for it. The mattress covers were dirty and the bathroom was unclean. Would not visit again. Needs reinnovating and too expensive as I feel like i was in a hostel.

It is a very good located hotel, in the old city center, near all the touristic important places. Very good breakfast, clean rooms, new elevator, personal very polite. As a weaknesses - the room was too small and to much noise from the street (our room had view to the street at the first floor). Maybe it's better to take room with view to the other side of the hotel! I select 5 stars because of the position of the hotel and because the report between quality of the services and prices was ok!

Amazing location, decent prices. Room was not the cleanest and the door to the hall is not at all soundproof - i woke because of the housekeeping starting work every morning at 8 (the vacuums, closing doors, talking). I had room 105 next to the elevators and the sound of water in the pipes was also very loud.

This hotel served us well. It was clean, the breakfast was well organised and there was enough variety for all, with an exception of fruits and plant based (lactose free) options. Only minus was noice in the morning coming from the street due to trash collectors, since windows don’t seal well anymore- the hotel would definitely benefit from a renovation. Overall experience was good, the location is amazing and we had fine vacation.

Rooms are basic but ok. Outdated but you have most of what you need. No safe, soap and shampoo in a hard-to-operate device, nothing perfect but all good enough. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok but limited and the same each day. Quiet and good location. Great for the price.

Service is nice. Food is perfect. Room are cleaned and comfortable. People are welcomed despite of some customers who reacted racism in the elevator. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Location's great, within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants as well as attractions. Also with the option to take trams, buses or metros within 5-10min walk. Fast WiFi. Only downside was that the double bed was actually 2 single beds so there was a gap in the middle and it was uncomfortable to sleep.

Excellent location, central, close to most points of interest. Kindly staff. The cleaning was ok, although it can be better. Comfortable bed, very clean bed clothes. Good breakfast but not very varied if you stay for several days. We feel very well the 4 days we stayed at this hotel.

For a four star hotel room was small. Limited breakfast options. In fact same options each day. Didn't understand why would they not serve simple sandwich bread also in the breakfast? There was not even English breakfast tea available. Location is best though and I think we paid for that.

The room was dirty, the fridge wasn't working. The Lady at the reception was really unfriendly. First she wanted us to move to another hotel, but she didn't want to tell us why. We haven't met one friendly employee, which was really frustrating.The only positive point about this hotel is the location. We could get everywhere in very short time. We will not come back tho.

We were greatly impressed by the hotel and we highly recommend it. The location was PERFECT, very close to the bridge and shopping streets, but a bit aside of tourists' noise and distractions. At the corner there are very nice, tasty and price-friendly cafes. The service was good. Reception service was polite, pleasant and useful. Breakfast and the dining room service was GREAT!...not too varied but basic, tasty and proper. Rooms are comfortable. You will not regret.

Shower wasn't the cleanest dark/black spots caulking areas, No coffee access other than breakfast time, had two coffee machines ready to go But couldn't use, Early morning desk clerk wasn't friendly/ rude. No real extra service / care for guests. Location great, won't recommend.
