Hotel Gozsdu Court Budapest provides comfortable stays in the heart of city. This also is the home to most happening place in the city. There are number of clubs and restaurants in the area where you can experience the city night life. Being right in the city center you can literally walk to all the main attractions. The apartments provided by Gozsdu Court Hotel are fully furnished and well equipped.

This hotel can not be recommended. Services that were sold as included are surprisingly not included when arriving. The hotel stuff appears friendly but are in fact not guest friendly and are unable to have respectful conversation. Their level of conflict management is very low and childish. During the check in they made several mistakes, tried to give us a smaller appartment than booked, without bath tube and no breakfast, although we booked it. After we complained we could change the room and the appartment corresponded to the description of the booking confirmation. Although the room quality is poor and very run down. Old and cheap furniture that are partly broken like some kitchen doors and the bathroom door. Walls are not properly made up and features are loose. For the windows it is the same. Positive is that the air conditioning is working properly and the beds are comfortable as well. Room service is also friendly and motivated. Another lousy fact is, that the rooms are very far away from the building of the reception. You have to walk several minutes, cross some streets until you arrive to a completely different building far away from the actual hotel. Nothing of that is mentioned in the description. The worst is the breakfast. The bread was mouldy, how disgusting. There was water coming out of a fridge making the floor very slippery and the staff did not care when we told them. There was no fresh fruits and also no vegan options at all. This breakfast can not compete at all and is not worth a 3 star hotel. The breakfast staff is running between the guests and pushing them away because they want to hurry with their work-always shouting 'sorry, please, sorry, please'. I have never seen such incompetence in a hotel. I am wondering to what extend the management is aware and tolerating that bad service quality. My conclusion "Gozsdu Court Hotel" is not more than an expensive hostel!

RUN AWAY! AVOID IF YOU WANT A GUARANTEED ACCOMMODATION. Having made a reservation on the hotel's website 2 months in advance, we were informed by email half an hour before our scheduled arrival time that there was no accommodation available. Of course, at this point we were on the way between the airport and the hotel. When we arrived at the reception, a rude woman said that there was no accommodation and that (surprisingly) we could look for somewhere else to stay ourselves. When asked if the hotel offered any compensation for the inconvenience caused, she said, without hesitation, that she couldn't do anything and to speak to the manager we would have to come back the next day. YOU CANNOT CALL THIS A HOTEL!

Sadly staff were less than helpful or informative beyond the their extensive rules. Helpfulness is not in their vocabulary. The apartment was clean, and spacious, however the hallway lighting to the entrance door did not work and the hallway was full of clutter making it unsafe in the dark. The shower doors fell off and the hot water setting was scalding...how is this if housekeeping services the room before our arrival? It was an experience not to be repeated inspite of the good location!

I would most sincerely recommend this hotel to everyone. The location of the hotel is phenomenal There are many beautiful cafes and restaurants nearby. Also the Metro station is less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. Breakfast included in the price of accommodation is so good. There no one can stay hungry because the food offer is really diverse 👍 The room is really clean and tidy I really have nothing bad to say. Looking forward to stay there again when I visit Budapest next time.

A harsh one star review. So much is good with this hotel it saddens me to give it one star. The good parts first. Central location , excellent breakfast large apartment. A bit tricky finding it since reception is on the first floor in a normal looking apartment building . We actually had to ask our way the last bit. The one star is due to the fact it is impossible to sleep since the hotel is located right on top of the bar street. They play music and do horrible karaoke up until 5 a.m. This is by far the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I am not particularly sensitive to sounds. But this was horrible.

Huge space for a small price. The catch? You can’t sleep AT ALL. I cannot believe they even allowed this place to be a hotel when the noise is from 10PM until 5AM. I repeat, SEVEN HOURS OF NON-STOP POUNDING MUSIC. Absolutely horrible and I don’t know who gave them a high rating because this is not a hotel it’s a party house.

I was surprised by this hotel in many ways. We booked a prestige appartment with balcony for one night and found that this spacious appartment offered all comfort you need and more. Airco, complete small kitchenette, washing machine separate toilet and shower, good beds. We had a small defect to our shower hose which made showering difficult. Also the sofa bed was not very comfy. Very good hotel location right in the nightlife hotspot. Our room was on the backside, so we had a quite night. Perhaps not perfect, but i would book here again!

ONLY reason why to choose this hotel is the location. All other atributes are bellow average. Room is not that bad but is located directly under the roof, so its quite hot there. The AC was not working. The worst there was behavior of the staff on the reception. I have never seen somebody as arrogant as the lady there. It was really unacceptable. She made a finish to our conversation telling me that if I have some problem I can leave the hotel.

I have stayed with him from Sunday until Friday.we have checked out on Friday morning. In overall my experience was good but there was some problems with my stay. I'm used to a big and rich breakfast so the breakfast in there wasn't sufficient for me. On Wednesday and Thursday we had a problem with the towels the staff took our towels to give us fresh ones and we didn't get any. Obviously we Talked with the staff several times they said they didn't have any towels to bring us and then when I talked to them they said they will bring us towels and in fact there was no towels at all we have to wash our Towels on our own expense. In addition the Wi-Fi there was horrible.

Great location and fairly big rooms. As you don’t need help from the counter, you’re all good. But if you need a towel (because the cleaning staff took 4 dirty ones and left only 3) then you’re in trouble. When we called the reception they said that maybe the hotel is fully booked and there aren’t towels to provide…. Also the rooms are very cold without AC/heaters. Beds are not comfortable.

I was there in July the place was dirty and I chose to pay by cash while booking and They asked for credit card information and they took 1€ when I got there I asked what is it for they said it’s for guarantee your staying and it will be back to my account after 2 weeks and it’s been almost 2 month nothing came back to my account I tried contacting them they were rude and I still didn’t get anything back it’s not about the 1€ it’s about costumer service and being honest and not lying and not stealing but the staff were nice at the property I live in Hungary for 5 years now and I’ve been to many hotels but this was the first time such thing happened to me and I don’t think it’s okay

Horrible experience !!! It was a Great location that is the reason why we booked however , RUDE SERVICE - the manager was extremely rude , we asked him for directions and he replied that I cant do anything if you cannot find it . He was rude and not at all cooperative as I was travelling with kids . We were made to wait for 45 minutes when we finally found our way to the reception which by the way is away and in a different building to the rooms . HIDDEN CHARGES - Extra hidden charges were applied at the time of checking in . Then we were asked to walk into a separate building like 600-700 meters away behind the actual court for a room entrance we couldn't even find and no one responded when we called them . We left the booking we had already paid for and went ahead to stay in Radisson Blu after a much disastrous experience with two kids late in the night after a long train. Would not recommend this hotel if you are a couple or travelling with kids . We wasted our money and booked another room at 12 in the night .

Super location and perfect place for your stay in Budapest. Parking is a little heck in this place, €60/day is way too much for such a place plus horribly narrow streets!! But Overall fab restaurants and absolutely amazing vibe!!

The location is in a strict centre which is great, but night clubs are nearby so there might be noise. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but it really needs toilet renovation and a new sofa. Although I booked an extra bed (sofa) in the room, it was not prepared for us, we had to do it ourself. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. It was not perfect but for the price we paid I would book it again.

I do not recomend because: 1. Dirty hand towel in the toilet, probably the service forgot to change it. 2. From the very begining of our stay there wasn't warm running water. Nooone informed us about the situation before arrival, via mail or phone. We decided to wait for fast fixing the problem. In the late evening I called to the recepion, they informed us that there's a problem and promised to fix it till morning. At 7am there was no change. Noone from the hotel service informed us about the situation. We couldn't evan take a shower during whole stay. Till now we do not have any response from the hotel because of our complaint. Totally disaster.

Dating to 1901, the beautifully redeveloped Gozsdu Courtyard, once the hive of activity before the Holocaust, has in recent years emerged as a top nightlife destination in the district. Lined with restaurants, cafes and bars, this passageway comes alive every evening, pulsing with music and merriments along its 200-meter length.

I loved the rooms, but the reception didn't explain everything properly and i didn't like the place because it's so crowded

Big apartments with everything you need. They are in several separated buildings along touristy passage with bars, and restaurants. Swimming pool is not in one of these buildings, but near. Garage is outsourced, also near. Sound isolation is excellent. Maybe more kitchen accessories would be nice. And it is very hard to find front desk, one should take elevator and go to the first floor, of one of many buildings, it's like a reversed game of escape room. Breakfast is very good, although place does not have plenty of space.

Hotel was a bit confusing at first because the reception was located in one building while our accommodation was in another. The apartment itself was quite worn out, but it served its purpose for a night's sleep. However, the breakfast turned out to be surprisingly good and surpassed all the other breakfasts we had during our trip across Europe.

Its perfect central location in city center, big apartment rooms with kitchen and bathroom. You can make youre own food. There is training center close with discount for residents at hotel.

Accommodation is perfect as well as the service. We had a lot of difficulties to find the reception as the place is very hidden to say the least and nobody around here helped us with directions.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Budapest The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Budapest Highly recommend!

Hotel provides good apartment with small manageable kitchen. There are few small utensils and plates as well. Staff is good and helpful. In Budapest there are many old buildings and this building is new and at good locality. Metro/tram is around 500-600 meters away from the apartment.

Apartment was very nice and affordable. However, they advertise a pool; there is no pool. There is one in the gym owned by another company nearby, that costs 6000 HUF for 1 day. If you are thinking of booking because of the pool, look elsewhere.

I was unsure whether to give it 3 or 4 stars, but for such a cheap price I chose to give it 4. The location is really good, close to the center and to the different public transports in the city. It is located in a neighborhood with a lot of night life, ideal for young people, but despite this the rooms are well sound proofed. Not all the apartments are located in the main building where the reception is, but you can easily reach them on foot (1/2 minutes). The staff, both reception and breakfast staff, were very friendly and helpful. Although I have read many positive comments about the breakfast I have to disagree, not much choice and with a limited selection of sweet things. Another flaw is the outdated bathroom (and some furniture).

Excellent location, close to the opera House metro station, inside the city in a very live part of town with cafés restaurants and bars. Make sure you ask for an apartment that's not overlooking these as it can be noisy at nights. We were lucky to have a garden view and no noise. Breakfast was very rich in choice, the service was great! I would come again

For the price it’s good. Not the highest standards for the rooms or breakfast; however, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the 3-bedroom spacious apartment in city centre location cost hardly anything. Would recommend if you need space over luxury. If you want nicer breakfast there are hundreds of top notch cafes within a couple of minutes’ walk. Firm comfortable beds. Own cooking facilities.

Great location for accomodation with friends, but for families I think it's crowded and noizy. Rooms OK,but ready to get refurbished

Very nice and central hotel. Good rooms and a restaurant court right next to it. Don't eat the eggs for breakfast.

I had the most comfortable, clean and relaxed 2 weeks stay at Gozsdu. Big rooms, great and healthy breakfast, friendly staff and best allocation for young and outgoing person.

The location is fantastic if you want to be centrally located. The facilities are typical of a three-star hotel in that it is functional without being luxurious. Superficially everything looks great, but sometimes there is the need for a little additional maintenance or care (e.g. the towels I was given were dirty and the shower head was not working so well). This is nothing terrible but it would be nice to sort these things out. The breakfasts are a good buffet selection. The staff that I spoke to at the reception and at breakfast were friendly and polite. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby but I visited during the lockdown period when there was a police curfew so cannot say whether or not it would be too noisy.

Awesome place, even tho it is in the middle of busy and noisy Gozsdu Udvar the windows can keep the room quiet. The room was clean, well equipped and with a working AC! Everything is within walk distance and the staff is really welcoming.
