It was a very unpleasant experience. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The rooms are small with dirty sheets. There was no air conditioning in the rooms. The bathroom had ants in it. The hallways and the numbers of the rooms were really confusing. The breakfast was awful. The oatmeal tasted like sand and the other food was really bad too.

One of the worst hotels I have ever been in. Hotel rooms look nothing like what the website(s) advertises... The elevators are also not working, not convenient to take the suitcases to the 4th floor with people who have difficulty walking. No refunds!

The receptionist told us we have to pay parking for 48 hours, 10 euro/24 hr. Receptionist behaviour very very rude. Rooms are without fan we ask on reception to provide fan so they totally ignored and told us we have this problem for n every summer. And an friendly advice, do not eat there. The food is totally gross. The breakfast was awful, you can't eat anything and the rooms were not clean Bathroom is totally broken and very very bad condition.

The rooms are very different from those on the website.  They are worse!  The furniture is very old, not clean, the toilet is very dark and small, although when we had booking it everything was much more good.  There is no sound insulation at all.  When the neighbors washed, it seemed like they were doing it in our bathroom.  Breakfast is ok for this prise.  Half an hour walk to the center. Parking was 20 Euro from 10.00 to 10.00 next day.

I have to say that this was a bad experience. But, for the price, I can’t complain too much. My grandma always tells me you get what you pay for and in this case Susan was 100% spot on. The location is sub-par, Buda is not the nicest part of the city and up a big hill to get back from the inner city. If you’re on a budget this could be an okay option but you might just end up spending the money you save on transport to the city. One final thing I will be kicking myself if I don’t mention - the breakfast. Or the lack of. It might’ve been the worst meal I have ever attempted to force down myself - broken toaster, ran out of eggs, everything looked soggy. And they had no nando’s sauce! My grandma Susan also says breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so this was a real disappointment to me. 3/5 stars. Let’s just say I won’t be recommending this place to my dearest Grandma.

I'm extremely frustrated with the hotel and feel compelled to share my experience. The hotel consists of three buildings, none of which are any better than the others. The entrance is dark and the connections between the buildings feel like a maze of catacombs. It's a complete nightmare trying to find your room. Now let's talk about the rooms. They are downright filthy, and don't even think about finding any electrical appliances. Each room supposedly has a minimum of three single beds, but forget about any comfort because there are no pillow tops provided. Can you believe it? To make matters worse, we were completely tricked by that Turkish Holiday Website, "tatilbudur.com." They led us to this horrendous place that is worse than any hostel I've ever stayed in. I'm beyond disappointed with this hotel. The lack of cleanliness, basic amenities, and the overall experience is simply unacceptable. They need to seriously step up their game and make significant improvements.

Decent hotel. Good prices. Rooms are average, service is ok. Breakfast is less than desirable, I found two eggshells in the scrambled eggs…

Everything there is dated and dirty. The receptionist's or security guard's (?) tone is extremely rude to guests and shows complete lack of normal human communication skills. He talked to us in a cynical, degrading way. Same with the waiter and the bartender girl/waitress. If you want to have the most awful experience regarding customer service, I'm encouraging you to go there! The people working there must not have been properly trained how to talk to guests I guess... still, normal human interactions and communication style is the bare minimum you would expect at any place, not just a hotel. Please train your staff properly or don't run a hotel if you are not able to speak to your guests in an acceptable way. This hotel is in serious need of a full renovation, modernization, and hiring the right personnel!

As for the location of the hotel, it's not close to the city centre but there is a good bus connection so that issue can easily be solved. The thing I would highlight is the friendliness and attentiveness of one of the receptionists, which made my stay better by providing me with information and an early check-in. He was talkative too, which I appreciate 🫶🏼 My least favourit part was the decoration and general look of the building and my room. It looks a bit depressing, the walls and furniture make it look like a hospital with that dark teal colour. My room faced the back of the building and the view was an unkempt back patio. The bed was sufficiently OK, but the pillows are so soft that even if you stack two of them your head lays flat on the bed. Some of the towels as well as the bed sheets have stains on them (they are not dirty but they look like it). I would come back if needed but I would be more eager to go back here if the decoration of the place was revamped and modernized a bit (please re-paint the walls in another colour!) Another good point of the hotel is that it's not noisy, it's actually quite calm and the breakfast is tasty and offers good coffee.

Simple cheap hotel. good location: near bus and tram stops. Free parking if you pay cash for the room is a nice advantage. A simple breakfast in the morning is a good start to the day. We had a room with 3 beds. Everything is very simple, morally outdated. But clean and neat. There is a TV, the Internet too, but no refrigerator. We did not see any bugs or cockroaches. the building looks a bit like a former hospital or something like that. Suitable for a budget stay.

Wanted to get a room here, and since the reviews were mixed, i asked to see the room before we took it, but the receptionist insisted we pay first and refused to let us see a room without paying ahead. Bit sketchy.

I did not stay at the hotel overnight, only there for a workshop conference. The staff was friendly, and the food was good.

This hotel was advertised to booking for 9990 fiorints (26.68€). My brother stayed there for 1 night, next day the reception man asked for 133.00€!! My brother was tired enough and could not calculate the conversion fiorints to euro, and finally payed the whole amount of 133.00€ he was asked for. Circumstantial thieves at tourists!

Five star for the location as it was nearest to the spot where I need to be. Hotel needs a complete refurbishment. Not enough towels. Hygiene level 3. Very basic accomodation. But... It's cheap and it serves a purpose. Breakfast included. Scrambled eggs and mini hotdogs, cornflakes (different types), yogurt, tea and coffee. Additional 10€ for the garage parking slot.

The hotel is pretty average. Nice location, not expensive, good breakfast and polite staff. General comfort is low level, sometimes it's dark in the corridor, little of complementary facilities, very hard bed. Good enough to stay for a few days

It is 2* hotel, but during my stay the most important was fulfilled - the room and the bed was clean. Cleaning staff has changed our towels each day and they've made the bed as well. Receptionists were nice and friendly. The most funny thing I've experienced here was broken light in the elevator. The price for accommodation for 2 nights for 2 people was just great. Don't have high expectations about this hotel, but it can fulfill the basic needs if you want to use the room just for overnight sleep. The only thing which I didn't liked was that our room was facing the road so the noise was quite loud with opened room window. Except this it's just OK hotel for budget trip to Budapest. Parking is 10E/night. Hotel's wifi could be improved.

I have pondered what my opinion is on this average hotel is. Though the rooms are nice, and the location is quite central, the breakfast… the breakfast broke my heart. Never have i seen a place have “basic spread”. It is simply blasphemy to say the least. And to say the most; quite horrendous. Nothing about the breakfast was good, except for the fact they had coffee. However. Only two variants. Satisfactory. Rooms were ok.

Located close to the city center (about 20 minutes by walk). Hotel itself is big, but to get from one part to another you can get lost. Rooms have sometimes a weird smell. TV only in hungarian.

It's not expensive but for this price you can get an Airbnb. Do it! There is absolutely no communication between the staff members of the hotel and they blame the guests. Not just unhygienic but also extremely disrespectful. Worst experience of my travel life.

Decently clean room with comfortable space but honestly, bathroom and toilet could use a makeover with good fixtures and designs convenient to use! (looks outdated and cracked in places ) Complimentary breakfast is a plus.

The staff is extremely unfriendly (apart from the cleaning personnel), especially the reception. If it is not xenophobia than it is just poor character. If you are the first time in Hungary, dont go there or your view of the country might get ruined. Dirty rooms and no hot water.

I can't give more than 2 stars, and I'm giving 2 stars because the hotel is near the centre of Budapest (15-20 minutes walk). At first you have to pay 10 euros additional for the parking place, but anyway the parking door was kind of open most of the time. One of the guests had problem with the car, somebody scratched the car on purpose. They called the police, but anyway I doubt somebody helped. The room was pretty cold at night, and the bed sheets were literally smaller, so we had to sleep on the mattress. The blanket was shorter then needed. The toilet was clean, but there was no garbage bag. Breakfast was okay. We were 7 people so we had 3 separated rooms. We all had the same problem with the sheets and coldness.

Well, if you are looking for a short stay the place is OK, the rooms are small, no air conditioning or fan, also no toiletries. But it balances with the breakfast and good location close to the bus stop and around 15 minutes to the center. Also if you have bags you have to walk for a long corridor and use some stairs even if it has an elevator.
