I would highly recommend to avoid this hotel! We came here with a big group of us and it took us 2.5 hours to initially get our room key from reception. As well as this, the bar was not open so we could not get a drink, so we were sat in the lobby by the entrance. The manager here was extremely rude and made us all feel intimidated and unwelcome. He told us that this was a family hotel and that we should not be in there, even though we had just paid a considerable amount to stay there. The hotel was laughed at by taxi drivers every time they dropped us off as it is known for its bad reputation. The best thing about this hotel was the little bar.. if you were to come out of the hotel and turn left, there is a little bar with a 'Sopranos' sign just outside on the roof. The lady who owns this bar is lovely and well worth a visit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! I must also add that only 1 plug socket worked in the room and they were all hanging away from the walls. This was the case for 5 other rooms which my friends were staying in. Very out-dated!

This hotel is not so fine. The only really really nice thing about it is the staff at the reception, they were very helpful and nice. The room was rather big but it was not very clean. The walls had stains that could have been easily cleaned. The bathroom had no hanger for bath towels and the shower was not clean. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold stains. The room smelled most of the time, it was like someone was smoking in the next room and the smell was in our room. It would have been nice to have some plugs for charging the phone, we needed to shut the light to use the plug. There was only one hanger in the closet and we are a family of four and were staying in a room with four beds. The beds were fine. We could not sleep well as there were young people shouting and running on the floor, outside the rooms. I can not understand why this is allowed. There are other people trying to sleep. For us was the hotel more like dormitory than hotel! Good: the staff (the best part of this hotel), the size of the room, the bed, the air condition. Bad: mold stains and dirt on the walls and ceiling, no hangers, not a good night sleep because of the running and shouting. That was for us the worst part.

The hotel was perfect! Staff were very friendly and helpful (Thank's to them!) Room was very clean da good condition. Breakfast was also very very good. P.S. 27 of December was my wife's birthday and when we came back to our room, we got a gift from hotel's manager. Our trip was very good. Thank you!

While booking the room, there was information that the parking doesn't require a reservation. Upon arrival, I was informed that they lately changed their parking policy, they currently require a reservation and there was no parking space for me. When it comes to the room, the tap was broken and there wasn't hot water coming from it. The staff refused to exchange the room or the discount. Finaly they repaired it after 24h. One of the beds creaking loudly at the slightest movement, waking up all the inhabitants of the room several times a night. Seats were greasy, dirty. So were walls. In conclusion this is the worst three star hotel I have ever visited. I suggest avoiding it.

Room is pretty old. And my room was infestated with bed bugs!! Staff was equally shocked and replaced me with another room promptly. The service from the staff was efficient and good. They gave me a box of chocolate as a form of apology. Nevertheless, the cleanliness of the hotel is not acceptable Be sure to check your beds before lying on it.

Really helpful staff, some didn't speak English well but didn't hesitate to try and help anyway, continental breakfast was amazing, 30 minute walk from the city, i would consider coming back if visiting the city.

Stayed for two nights. They had renovations happening but it wasn’t very disruptive. Room was ok for what we needed but it was a little rough around the edges. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice however they didn’t have a toaster and no option for them to toast the bread in the kitchen so one for all you toast lovers out there to note down! Overall, I’d say it’s nice if you’re staying one or two nights but if you’re planning to stay longer and want comfort, choose somewhere else.

Very friendly and helpful staff, large rooms and decent shower. Location is a little far from the main tourist attractions (30 minute walk). Other than breakfast, (a good variety of tasty food), no food is available at the hotel, which is a little inconvenient.

Reasonably low prices, but not great. Would not recommend. Rooms are not soundproof - you can't get a good nights sleep, hotel bar is not open as advertised. Rooms are not too clean, very uncomfortable and old beds. Staff is mostly friendly. Stanfard breakfast. Secured parking is very expensive; 12€/24 hours, but if you don't want to park in the street, it's the only option. Also, they have a lot of young guests in groups, which can get a little loud. Location is good - only 10 to 15 minute walk to one of the main metro/tram stations.

As a whole, my sensation of the stay is as been in a two-star socialism-era hotel. Staff is kind, but doesn't speak English much. Neighborhood - it's close to downtown - walking distance, but it's in the Arab-populated quarter and it's quite noisy due to tram and other crowds. Breakfast is okay. There is a private parking lot - 12 euro per day. Most likely I would pick another one for my next stay in this beautiful brisk and bountiful of experiences city.

The hotel's location is very good, it's easy to walk to main attractions in the city center. The staff are very polite and helpful. Our room was big and comfortable (for 2 adults and 1 child), but during our 3-day visit noone came to clean it, probably we should have asked ... I'm not sure. Breakfast is excellent. In general, we liked the hotel and can recommend it.

This is of course a budget hotel so you get what you pay for. The value for the money is pretty decent. I stayed with friends in a family sized room and it was huge, plenty of room. Some of the furniture in the room was broken or falling apart and there were very few outlets. The linens and towels were all fresh and clean but the bathroom could have used some more work. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was pretty good. The biggest downfall to this place is the location, it is in a very sketchy part of town. During the days it's fine but after dark you would not want to walk around here.

I was staying in hotel 5 days, the staff was always helpful and really nice. The breakfast was great! The hotel is renovated, but our room was really big and comfortable ( maybe not modern so much but every day we were going out to sighseeing, so modern room it wasn't so important for us) the room was cleaned every day by staff. The staff in reception and in the canteen was fantastic!
