The photos look great and other reviews made us certain this would be great. Everything in the hotel is pretty and clean, and the staff is particularly friendly and efficient! The breakfast is also really good and leaves nothing to be desired. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the bathroom and toilet situation. There is only a tub with no shower so the floor gets very wet and uncomfortable and just yucky. Moreover, there is no door to the washroom so it is very uncomfortable to shower knowing you are in basically the same room as your friends that are in bed. The staff tried their best by putting a makeshift curtain in the bathroom which unfortunately falls easily and creates more annoyance. There's also nowhere to put your toiletries except the floor. Now the toilet is in a separate little room of itself, next to the bed, without a window OR vent so whatever happens there stays there for a while. The whole situation is really awkward. This might be a good choice of hotel if you really enjoy having soaks in the tub and are alone or with your partner, but absolutely don't come with friends or if you have trouble getting into a tub. It's all just so weird and uncomfortable. After a long day walking this beautiful city, I really look forward to a relaxing shower, but instead I fight with a silly design that does not benefit anyone.

We loved our stay here! Kind, extremely helpful staff - went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. Wonderful wellness center featuring a jacuzzi, wood sauna, relaxing lounge areas. Rooms were quaint and efficient with quality name brand touches like L’Occitane toiletries and an espresso machine + tea and an electric kettle. Breakfast was certainly a highlight with so many tasty options in the dining area of the main floor. So many places to relax in between exploring Budapest. Close to everything downtown.

Situated in a perfect location in the heart of old town, it's a great choice for couples. The hotel staff is kind and helpful. In the check-in they offer a welcoming drink. Rooms are clean and properly equipped. The shower has missing rack for soap, which makes it necessary to squat while showering. There's a minibar offering selection of drinks and snacks. The air conditioning has wide adjustments, however forgetting it on for the night (with the default setting) resulted as a runny nose. If pillow feels uncomfortable, there's a selection of them. Services are diverse relative to the size of the hotel. The Memorise Skybar and restaurant has a beautiful view over the roofs of the old town. Cocktail selection is wide and food is good. However, it's only open at Thu, Fri, and Sat evenings (as of 6/2022). Wistro33 restaurant on the first floor was closed at the time. Not all waiters spoke English comprehensively, and this caused a small mistake in the restaurant order. The hotel is easily accessible from the BUD airport by bus 100E. Many sights, restaurants and shops are in a walking distance's away. The breakfast is diverse with coffee served at the table. The breakfast area can be busy and noisy at peak times, but a free table is released quickly. The splendid bathtub and sauna were the main highlights to the overall experience. An excellent value for couples visiting Budapest for a few days.

Good hotel in the touristic centre. Rooms pointing to the streets are very quiet. Shower its not convenient,a lot of water on the floor. Breakfast room with enough tables , good choices food. Sauna wasn't open for everybody only advance booked.

The best hotel of Budapest ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The morning starts with a delicious breakfast. It does not matter if you want a full English breakfast or just some fruit. Everything fresh and from high quality. The fantastic coffee (and tea) are complementary. There are 2 booths were you can sit or you can sit in the common area. The rooms are also beautiful. Very good bed and various free options you can ask for. Like extra pillow (also special pillows) and an extra topper. Bar serves several drinks and in the evening you can eat here. Everyone we have met is very nice and helpful. We rented e-bikes and we were able to store them inside of the hotel. Thank you for our time in your lovely hotel and hope to see you soon. Special thanks to Daniel for this great coffee ☕.

Very comfortable hotel with a great breakfast. There is a sauna and hot tub and a rooftop bar. Conveniently located just a few steps from the Kalvin Ter metro stop (3 from the main train station), and easy to go anywhere in the city. Also offers limo service to the airport. The staff is top notch; very friendly and accommodating. The place to stay in Budapest.

Fabulous Hotel in such a central location. The interior decoration was the nicest I have even seen, very trendy and Art Deco. The staff were amazingly friendly. I loved the breakfast. I especially loved the wellness centre which included a sauna and hot tub.

Absolutely, the perfect hotel. Great location to explore this beautiful city. Room was very clean and "roomy". A nice roof-top view of the city from 5th floor. Breakfast was excellent with many delicious options to choose from. And last but not least, the staff was super nice and helpful! We felt very welcomed and even got a birthday card and some chocolate. Will definitely come here again. Thanks!

A wonderful hotel with extremely friendly and welcoming staff, a large buffet breakfast and everything you could need. They welcomed us with a cool and refreshing drink upon arrival and were very kind. They also have a little refresh station on the ground floor with some baked biscuits and cool drink. There is a business centre with a computer and a kids play area too with lots of toys. Lastly, a rooftop bar is also available for evening drinks. Breakfast had a mix of hot and cold food. There were decadent pastries, a variety of yoghurts, fresh fruits, tea and veggie snacks too. They also served proper barista coffees which were excellent. I would definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it to everyone.

Great Breakfast spread! Close enough to walk to most things. May rack up alot of steps but walked to Buda Castle, parliament, St Stephens Basilica and Hero square across 3 days. Also clos to subway but we didn't use that.

Wonderful hotel. Great service. The breakfast was soooo good! Tons of variety. Only downside is there are 6 steps to get to the elevator and no ramp, plus a couple steps at the entrance. That’s a pain if you have a stroller or a disabled person with your party. Otherwise, perfect!

I have visited this hotel at least a dozen times and to me it deserves easily more than 5 stars. Kind and attentive staff. Great breakfast and rooms. In one short phrase home away from home. I hope to visit the hotel for many years to come.

Boutique fun hotel in a great area of Budapest. Exposed brick and frosted glass sets a nice ambiance that continues throughout you room! Our room had a a nicely appointed bath with basin sink mounted to an antique sewing machine and the towel warmers were made of exposed 3/4 inch copper pipe. The entire hotel has unique pieces top to bottom. Bohemian chic. Very cool! Any needs or concerns were addressed immediately to our full satisfaction. The area of the hotel is in a busy trendy area and the nearest subway is very close. It is in old town so is a bit tucked away but a decent map or e-map will get you there, as will a taxi…to the door. Having had enough of the city noise and smells we opted for a quite drink on the rooftop patio…and stayed for an expertly crafted full meal! Duck and deer were on the menu and the duck was expertly cooked. Many other local choices as well. Fresh and relaxing patio dining without the traffic. Check out the website’s own photos. And BTW air conditioning was a bonus. A Top notch experience!

Such kind and considerate staff, an amazing breakfast, comfortable rooms, all in a central location. My partner and I have had a wonderful stay and can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. The staff in particular deserve the highest credit. They’ve made us feel welcome and taken care of. We’ll definitely return.

My friend and I cannot say enough good things about this place! Service, friendliness, rooms, breakfast, airport shuttle, all excellent! We loved that when we came in at the end of our day, there was fresh lemonade available. There is a selection of 5 different pillows! They put a topper on my bed to make it softer! Honestly, this place is great and a reasonable price. Also very central to everything... every time we wanted to go somewhere, it was between a 5 and 15 minute walk. You cannot miss with this place. Enjoy!

Very nice and clean hotel, conveniently located in the city centre, Pest side, close to landmarks and public transport. Few steps from the bus stop from the airport. Breakfast is delicious, with lots of vegan options and lactose free milk. The hotel is no smoking and rooms are carpet-free. Rooms might have some improvements in the AC system and the curtains. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They managed to arrange an appointment with a hairdresser in the neighbourhoods, a very hard task due to the particular day of the week. I couldn't be more satisfied with my week-long stay and will definitely come back.

Great location, two minutes walking from Kalvin tér where metro, bus and tram stop are. Really nice place, really quiet, modern but warm and cosy at the same time, room super clean and good smelling, with water and coffee included. Nice spa to relax a few hours after a day walking in the cold😂. I liked the choice of bath products and the decent hair dryer. Staff really friendly, everybody speaks a perfect english. Breakfast very good. I can’t find anything that I didn’t like.

Amazing hotel, everything was perfect. Very good breakfast, a nice room and a relaxing spa with sauna, jacuzzi, training room and a cold bucket. The hotel was in a nice quiet back street with little noise and it was close to restaurants, grocery store and clothes stores. Me and my family have nothing to complain at. We were 3 people.

Overall, A great place to stay when you are in Budapest! Value for money, comes with eat all your can breakfast that was very good Fantastic location. In between at Stephen basilica and the House of Parliament both of which are very walkable. Tram, metro and buses are about 3mins walk. Rooms and toilet are very clean and well arranged. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. They offer to replace your pillows or provide extra bed topper just to make sure you feel comfortable. The only mistake I can think of the hotel did was they forgot to replace our towel, water and toiletries on our 2nd day but they immediately corrected this.

We stayed here for 5 nights and we liked it a lot. The staff was polite, there is a SPA area which is mostly "private" since there's nobody there. On top of that, the breakfast was wonderful - the food was always fresh, they have a professional machine for coffees, they squeeze you fresh orange juice. The only thing which we didn't like that much was the bathroom and the cleaning service. On the first night there were 4 different types of towels - body, hands, face, towel robes. On the other days they changed only the body ones and we needed to ask for new ones of the other types. Also, the bathroom is poorly designed and the floor is always wet

Very good hotel in a very good location. Breakfast is also good and rooms are nice (nothing special) . It was nice to have a safe in the room , but there was no door in the bath area of the room as you can see ! Recommended anyway!

EXCELLENT hotel in District V. Kind of a perfect central location in Budapest, as it’s on a quiet side street, close to the action (centered especially in District VII) but without being subject to all the drunken debauchery & noise or being in “the heart of darkness”, heh. Also not far from the Central Market & the bridge to get to the Buda side. Exceptionally friendly, welcoming, professional, warm & kind staff (all of whom speak English). They’re breakfast is OUTSTANDING! Truly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in my travels. The coffee is great quality, & they know how to prepare it properly. Everything is exceptionally fresh, & mostly sourced locally. Rooms are good size, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean & modern. Wi-Fi is strong, small gym & hot tub downstairs. I literally only have positive things to say. Truly a fantastic place to stay when you’re in Budapest. & sometimes you can get lucky & find a good, last-minute deal on booking.com. Note: there are several “Hotel Memories” in Budapest (& I’ve stayed in a couple). However they are NOT affiliated with one another, per my conversations with staff. Strange, I know. But at the same time, you will FEEL the much different “vibe” in Hotel Memories Old Town, for example, versus Hotel Memories Rumbach (near the synagogue). Rumbach is cheaper, not as nice, & caters to a different (read: younger, partying…) clientele in Districj VII. Still nice, esp for the price, but Old Town it ain’t, heh…

Very good central location, you can do everything at foot if you like walking. Warm welcome with a glass of home made lemonade. Perfect double deluxe room, elegant, spacious, warm industrial style decoration. Fabulous breakfast. Restaurant/rooftop bar a must, small menu but excellent food. Cocktails to die for. Staff are very attentive. Perfect stay. Freedom regained.

Very comfortable, cozy, and clean rooms with a refreshing design, friendly and very attentive staff, central location, great breakfast, and a nice rooftop bar with a view. I’ve already been here at least 4-5 times, and everything was always great.

We absolutely loved this place. The staff was kind, attentive, and always ready to help whenever they could. The rooms were beautiful, cozy and clean. The location is perfect for sightseeing- within walking distance. The market hall is just a street away and St. Stephen's Basilika is short 20 min walk from the Hotel. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had a vast variety that we would have needed another day to try everything. Highly recommend the hotel to family and friends visiting Budapest and we would definitely stay in this hotel again if we came back to Budapest. Thank you! Danke! Asante! Köszönöm!

Me and my sister stayed at this hotel during our visit to Budapest beginning of July and I have nothing negative to say about it. From the minute we got there we felt welcomed and cared for, we was offered a complimentary drink when we arrived which was a really nice touch as well as the free small bottle of wine in our room :). Anything we needed from extra towels or even a cup of ice all the members of staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room we stayed in its self was very nice and the beds were comfy - the shower was my favourite part (proper shower). Honestly I would recommend this hotel and anything we did or visited was within walking distance (also walking everywhere meant we saw more stuff).

Just one word is enough. Wonderful hotel. I booked a room for my friend to celebrate her birthday. Because I could not be there with her, I asked for the help from the hotel manager so that she could stay there happily. The hotel arranged everything perfectly, more than my expectations. I was moved by their excellent way to treat their guests. She happily reported to me how happy she was in the hospital. If you want to spend a wonderful time in Budapest, you do not need to wonder which hotel you should stay at. Their hospitality will surely exceed your expectations.

This is absolutely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are extremely small, even without a place to put your luggage. There is an good coffee machine in the room but without capsules. Instead of that they offered us tickets for free drinks in the bar but we could not be served because the bar was closed for a private event.🤔🤦🏻‍♂️

Staying here for four days and only on day one and feel compelled to review immediately- from staff, room quality, services or food- outstanding. Need Google to provide me an extra few stars to award.

Excellent choice to stay in Budapest. Best location, nearby of public transport. Friendly staff. The room was nice decorated, always so clean enough Towels and toiletries. Unfortunately we couldn’t try the rooftop bar but we’re looking forward to back soon. Breakfast is really good the staff makers you cappuccinos or espressos. Maybe a bit more fruit in the buffet would be perfect.
