I stayed here for four nights during my trip to Budapest. I wouldn’t say that the bathrooms are the cleanest but it’s okay. It’s perfectly located and it’s affordable. The rooms and the beds are okay as well.

I’ve been stolen 100 EUR in this hostel when I left my things in my appartment. This is chrap but not tyr best place to stay when you are nearby.

On booking the rooms looked a lot better than in fact. The walls are thin and the building hall looks shabbier than the hostel. The good thing the price was the most cheap despite the Sziget Festival going on. Everything was either booked or too expensive. Be aware of difficulties with parking. What disappointed the most: During the reservation it was told we would have a free locker we can use after check out. It turned out on the reception ( it was written on a wall) that the loker is 10€. During the check out we wanted to take one and to our surprise there were no lockers at all! They proposed us to leave the stuff near the common fridge were everyone has access. Had to argue with the management to leave the belongings in a room for a few hours.

Awesome place to stay. Breakfast was yummy, location was fantastic! The unit had an elevator and gave residence free access to a refrigerator. A towel can be rented for a €1.50 and the staff was so kind. I can not stress this enough! The staff was incredible. There was a problem with our payment and the staff was not too terribly concerned. They just asked that we return when the manager was around. I was sure to ask when the manager would be in thinking that I ought to come down as soon as the manager arrived to sort things out so there would not be a problem, but the staff assured me there would be no problem. Since we were staying for 4 days, we could just come see the manager anytime before check out. Amazing, right? Only negative comment, the floors were a bit creeky, but when you stay somewhere with this much character, that’s part of the charm. If you sleep lightly, just bring ear plugs.

Reasonable option when you search for a cheap place to stay for one night in the Budapest center and you don't expect too much comfort.

Had a nice stay there. Will return for sure the next time I visit the city.

Best location you can get. Very central, next to a big club and the best ruin bar in budapest. theres also a really cool bar just downstairs. staff are nice and understanding. if your a young traveller this is it. if you want a quiet night sleep maybe not so good. but for us it was a solid 8.2/10 🪱🎩

The girl in the reception was amazing. Very helpful and very kind. Also the cleaning girl was very nice. The location of the hotel is very good. But don't have high expectations. The room with 6 beds is very small and old. I don't think the sheets are very clean. The common area was very simple and old. But it has kitchen and big dining table. Also there is a bar down which might be annoying to someone who wants to sleep at night but its not that bad. Who wouldn't want a bar with different types of music next to him. It was very convenient. The bathrooms are very good

Directly in the city centre, easy to reach by public transport. The staff is very nice and I had a few interesting chats with Christina. The price is amazingly cheap, even though breakfast is included. The mattress is very thin though, which makes it hard to find a comfortable sleeping position. The blanket is also thin and the bed wiggles every time the person above moves.

Stayed here 1 night only, so people who stay longer might have different opinion :) Good cozy clean place with a great atmosphere; breakfast included; a very good price; perfect for 1-2 nights staying. Nice location but there was no hot water or I just didn’t manage to get it from the tap :))) I didn’t take a shower (1 night only !) so that was not a problem actually.

This hostel seems to be split into multiple parts, one being the same building as reception, which looked nice with a chilled out friendly atmosphere. We however weren't staying at this part of the hostel, and instead were taken on a 5 minute walk to a completely different building. The receptionist was friendly and it was good of her to walk the guests over to this other building. The building we stayed in was fine, but certainly not as nice as the building the reception is in. The room was actually very comfortable and the building itself was quiet (it has other residents in, so it isn't like a typical hostel were the whole building is somewhat crazy). If I stayed again I'd make sure I got a room where the reception is located if possible.

This hostel was really nice! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and it is quite close to the center (really close to the instant club if you wanna go party and have a good time!!). The staff was super friendly and I could even have breakfast at 6am, prior to the normal breakfast time, since I had to catch an early train! Thank you! I'll come again! :)

We had a really good size room for the 2 of us, 2 double beds (as per other reviews the mattresses are quite thin but still comfortable!) A sofa and a table, plenty of plug sockets and a perfect temperature room. We had some nice Velux windows that looked out into the city and the breakfast was basic but exactly what it said on the tin! Towels were 150fl each to hire and they require a form of ID as a deposit. The location is perfect! Busy area but high and behind a courtyard so quiet. The door is quite hard to find with an A4 sized poster on the wall next to the main door, but it has a code and felt secure. Minor downside is the shared bathroom, the showers are hand held and there is one toilet to a group of rooms, not quite sure how many, but for the 4 days we were there we never struggled to get a shower or use the toilet? Cute family, clean place would recommend highly as value for money for a budget holiday! Thanks for helping us discover this beautiful city! Nice hostel. The staff is especially very friendly and helpful. They also let you store the luggage at no extra cost. The building is a nice example of old apartment architecture of Budapest. Would definitely come again.

Wonderful hostel, with a decent breakfast included in price, staff are so friendly and helpfuk. Sophie, Gabriel and Mathew left such am impression on me that i will be returning for sure if i ever come back to Budapest.

Not again. The 2 stars are only for the really friendly staff and that the hostel have a good location. But I had the private room, which first is beside the stairs, secondly it is between 2 group rooms and the bath. And to made it worse a washing-machine on the opposite of the door of my room. The point is, that every time someone goes to bathroom you can hear every step, you can hear the shower and the toilet to. And they used the washing-machine in front of the door at 9am. So no long sleeping for me, because till 1am the people from the group rooms used the bathroom. Not forget to mention, that the breakfast is from 8am to 10am and this is the only bathroom with a shower. So everyone tries to get clean before breakfast and runs in front of the door. I really want to enjoy the many bars in the area, but it's not possible with no more than 4 to 5 hours of sleep.

Cool hostel in the heart of Budapest. We made an Mexican-Argentinian night with the receptioner (Matthew) and this makes it perfect. We will come back for sure!

Small but good hostel. The cleaning is not on the top but its quite good for this price. And the guy on on the reception Matthias is our brother we love you bro thanks for everything!
