probably havent been in worse vegan restaurant, and I have been in many across world. Everything you can buy here is only deep fried and salty stuff. Guys, when will you put more imagination into your meals? Vegan doesnt mean tasteless burgers and fried everything.

The Best Vegan food to eat in Budapest City. My daughter and I spent her birthday week in Beautiful Budapest. We stayed local to Vega City. The Staff are amazing and the food is absolutely amazing. There is so much choice and the restaurant is beautiful, clean and staff attentive. I truly give Vega City top marks as one of the wholesome vegan spots that I have sampled. I plan on visiting again soon.

Honestly, I don't think you can fail here. I had a server guide me through all the various available options and hey, viola! I ended up with a banquet of a vegan meal, including smoothie, enough to satisfy the most hearty appetites. This is like a McDonald's or KFC, but without the crappy, life sapping food! There are two floors, you can enjoy your meal while you watch the traffic and the people go by outside. Go for it here, indulge, or even over indulge as I did and go back for second helpings! Enjoy. I can't recommend enough. When you're done try and leave your tray on the rack on the ground floor. Update, I walked in there with a foot injury as a result of falling six feet from a ladder. Very cheap too and portions are filling even if you get small bowl. We saw a lot of people bringing their own containers to take food away and it seemed like a popular place. I really like their Indian dishes where they maintain super hygiene and deliciousness at the same time. One day my card was out of money but still they served me food and asked me to pay later which I really appreciated and respect such Samaritan gesture. This place is one of the best vegetarian/vegan places in Budapest if you look what do you get for your money. I wouldn't say you get the best quality but it is the most fair place I know. They have nice dishes and stuff too. If you live in Budapest try it for a lunch or dinner but don't go too late, they are closing at 19:00. My favourite is the tofu in mustard sauce. On the negative side around lunch time the line ends outside on the street, which can be seen as a positive feedback too :)

You can eat your food on their outdoor patio (unless it rains) or ask for a take away box. They accept cash, card or even OTP SZEP card as payment. Downside is, that the place is pretty small, so you don't really have a chance to sit down inside and they're a bit on the pricier side, but it's worth it.

The staircase is a little bit scary because the glass steps are moving awkwardly. Anyway, this place is a nice option for people who like to try new stuff or vegan food for the first time or who just are vegan and love to enjoy good kitchen. It was, however, quite expansive though.

This is one of the best Vegan restaurant in Budapest. I was told that this is a meat & wine country and I'd struggle finding a Vegan food. I found this place by chance while talking a walk of the city. What caught my eye was people lined up out side the restaurant, I thought what is that people wainting in line to eat, then I realized it is a VEGAN. This place was jam packed, I found a place to sit and boy the food was amazing delcicious. It was very resonable price, I think I paid US$ 6-7 for a pasta with mushroom soup, and a potato, carrot, beet Lasgna kinda thing. Staff didn't speak much english so I am not exactly sure what it was called. They took my US Credit Card, sometimes in Hungary that could be a problem but not here.

I hunted this place down but was so disappointed. The girl that served me was unhelpful and sullen but when speaking to nationals she was beaming. I had a Thai burger which I thought would be heated, was cold which I thought was bizarre and by time I got to the end I felt sick and it has given me heartburn since eating it. The meagre portion of salad the girl allowed me contained mostly red cabbage and cost 550 ft. I'm afraid I won't be returning.

Chinese veg soup, and Greenpean w/ paprika eggplant subj on millet. Also brought home a couple treats for friends which were as good as they looked!

I'm vegan & this place was not so great for me. It has a daily menu (for each day of week) with food in front. It's great that one can see the food before choosing. Choice on Monday was very poor: mostly fried stuff. I ordered something in Indian style & pure (unidentified ingredients). Both didn't have much taste, the veggies were overcooked. In conclusion, one can't find here (on Monday, at least) nice healthy vegan dishes. Though, lemonade & atmosphere were really good.
