Nice place on Kopaszi gát. Personally didn’t like to potatos going with the steak. Also the meat was very tough and the Chimichurri was hidden under the meat and not as tasty as I know it. Overall a very good and also busy place during the summer month. One of the better restaurants on Kopaszi.

Always a good time. The food is consistently good, I had a non-alcoholic cocktail which was fantastic, and the mango mousse was out of this world. Hard to get a table at times but worth the wait.

The mozzarella was ok, but nothing special. The trout was a bit dry so we asked for a topping (that one never arrived). The service was weird: some waiters were very professional and friendly, some waitresses just forgot about the order (twice), or bought the food without forks+knives, so we had to go and get them for ourselves. At the end of the evening, we asked but didn't get the bill for a while, when another waiter came along to let us know that the place was about to close so we should have settle the bill (that we already asked for). It's a pity that the toilet doesn't have a/c, it really feels like being in a sauna. Otherwise the place and surrounding is fancy.

Cozy place! Love this restaurant not only in this location. It has great quality in all their points. Lovely drinks and fresh food. Staff is also attentive and cute. Sadly didn’t make any food pictures tho ❤️

Great. This area of Budapest has seen some nice developments over the last few years — and so have the restaurants spread on this small island: the food served here is of great quality, and you have a really nice terrace to enjoy the outdoor view of the nearby waters. The salmon was fresh, nicely grilled (just about right, leaving it nice and juicy) and had a crispy touch to it. The mozzarella was an excellent pairing, fresh and full of flavours acting as a great choice before the fish. The French fries were for honouring the fisherman doing hard work. Service was very good, and on a sunny spring day like today this was a perfect place to be.

Great food and drinks at a lovely place for reasonable price. The service was perfect, the tables were clean, the chairs were comfortable. They've asked us if we'd like to pay 10% tip (there were no such things as a mandatory service fee).

Eye-catching location by the banks of Danube! Unfortunately, we happened to walk by at the busiest time of the day without reservation. We could not get seated which we understood. The manager suggested to return an hour later. We did. We received an extremely slow and quite poor service. We had to wait a long time for our drink orders to be taken. Our meals were served without utensils being provided prior. The entrees were nicely displayed and tasty. Mediocre priced menu items. Nice variety of choices. The ambiance is perfectly fitting in the outdoor setting in the serene natural surroundings. Perhaps, a little more professional service would invite guests back for a second visit.

This is a fine place in a beautiful surraoundings. I've been here several times and like it more and more. Easy to park but you need to walk a bit. The staff is friendly the servings are fair. The overall quality fits for even a business dinner for a very reasonable price. I reccomend this place.

Compared to the name VakVarjú, the place is perhaps a bit too casual, and although the quality of the food is not to be faulted, the selection is perhaps limited even compared to a bistro, and despite it being Friday, the service is slow!

No reservation made but still got a ”boat”- table. Friendly personell, great lemonades and the langos was heavy and would have done great with some more salad to go with it. My team enjoyed the evening here and will get back! 🙏🏼☀️

Nice place, very popular, so You should book a table. The pulled pork is tasty, but a bit small. Great lemonades. Next time I'll try the burger. Recommend.

In a great environment this restaurant is a real hidden treasure. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I ate a Hungarian “Hekk” which was properly cooked and very tasty. All the lemonades were good and refreshing my favorite was the Mojito one.

Very disappointed with the duck breast. It was rancid and felt like it’s been boiled. Couldn’t eat it at all. To be fair everyone else was okay with their food so maybe just don’t order the duck!

Very average food with a pretty high price tag. Needs more focus on cleanliness as the bathrooms were quite "abused". The furniture is worn out and frankly, the food is not that good (everything over salted, meets overcooked). Staff is very nice! The owner should give them a raise as they are by far the best feature of this place.

Kind and rapid service, with happy flexibility, indeed. The menu and the meals are more-than-enough portions, and you don´t wait for the drinks either... the key for a perfect celebration, dinner, or a family gathering as well. Well done, congratulation and thank you again!

Great cafe/restaurant by the river. The menu is less that it's normal restaurants in this chain. Lots of seat options, with the river beach view. Parking adjacent. Their own IPA is very good 'AranyVarju kezmuves America pale ale. Overall a lovely spot 😊 4 of 5 stars as menu is limited.

I had Caesar salad with chicken filet and then pancakes. The Caesar salad was the worst I ever had. It was lacking even the smallest spark of creativity on a flat plate with some greens, croutons and 2 pieces of almost not baked chicken which still had the skin on it. To me it looked disgusting. The pancakes were at least good. Service was completely average but fast enough without a single smile.

Very nice place, kind staff. The food is good, not anything special but good quality, tastes good and the portions are right size. Good place for a casual dinner after a nice walk in the park. Thumbs up for the paper straws!

It is easy to locate the place, the surroundings are beautiful. The menu is great, the foods and drinks are both astonishing. The service is great, the waitresses are kind, fast and knowledgable regarding everything. The place was packed, yet it didn' feel crowded and even if there was any background music, you heard those you were sitting with. You can pay by cash, card as well.

Sizable restaurant with a nice seating area and view to Sho Beach. Food and service were good, but the lemonade was especially great.

The food was delicious. The place and ambiance great to spend an afternoon with friends or romantic dinner, love it. The waitress and personnel in general super friendly and helpful. I'll be back for sure.

We are regular customers of the sixth district branch, and have been to the branch in the garden of the 13th district. Today is our first visit to the 11th district branch. At this time of year, there's nothing more comfortable than having lunch outdoors in the shade. Duck breast, with no excess grease, is perfect for this season. If you don't want to drink sweet drinks, you can order a liter of soda, which is a very considerate service.

Very nice place! The staff is very kind and professional, the food is delicious (I really liked the Hungarian style pizzas) and the drinks are really good. I found the prices to be very reasonable compared to nearby places. I ate there 3 nights in a row and was never disappointed.
