Small but stylish space. Seating isn't what I would say is 'comfortable' but it's nice to sit on the side of the street or at the window and see lively streets of Budapest. The coffee is great. Food is not fancy but tastes great. Prices are good as well! The lady behind the counter was super friendly and funny. Would definitely go there again.

Great options for breakfast/brunch. Coffee was really good here. It is a small place. So big group of people will not comfortable here. We were 5 people and somehow managed to combined two tables and sit. It is mostly for couples or for Solo traveler. One can sit outside if sunny and enjoy their coffee.

Luckily stumbled upon this place because it was a few minutes walk from my air bnb. I ordered a vanilla latte and the avocado eggs Benedict and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Probably one of the best breakfast and lattes I’ve had this month while traveling Europe. For the high quality ingredients the price was perfect. Will definitely come here again while I am in Budapest this week.

London Coffee Society is an excellent place to have breakfast! The staff is really friendly and the prices are fair enough, however I think the portions were a little bit small. I ordered both the shakshuka and the royal eggs and they were very tasty. The place was crowded and we had to eat outside, so you'll need a good jacket during winter because there are no heaters.

Loved it! This is my 3rd time here. Thier Avocado with pouched eggs is super delicious! The coffee is okay though. It is a quite small cozy cafe which adds to its charm I guess. Staff are super friendly and welcoming! Would definitely come here again.

Charming breakfast spot. The eggs Benedict I savored were heavenly, complemented by a cappuccino. To quench my thirst, I tried the refreshing rhubarb lemonade, which was a delightful twist on a classic drink. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant, exuding a cozy and inviting vibe. However, the only downside was the need to queue at the cashier to order and pay. Given the limited space, it felt slightly uncomfortable. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience was wonderful.

Small establishment run by an equally small team but run to perfection. Food is great. We ordered different styles of eggs. Menu is priced reasonably. Service is great. They accept card and the owner always greets you with a smile even though they are very busy. The only downside - the place is a little small so you might have to wait a little to get a seat. But it’s every bit worth it.

Nice place, good coffee and fresh orange juice. I went for something simple but yet delicious. Food is great and the presentation even better, fair prices, probably just a bit higher than Budapest standard, but well worth it. Only downside is probably the place is a bit small so you might have to wait a little bit if it's full.

The place is quite small and packed with a long line outisde. But I guess it's worth the wait. Great breakfast options, especially the smoothly fruit bowl. Great coffee and wonderful fresh orange juice. Prices are more than reasonable Service is fast and efficient and this is a lovely place to grab a coffee and breakfast in Budapest. Highly recommended.

Coffee was nice really great, however we weren’t so amazed by the food as opposed to the other reviews. The shakshuka was sour and a bit tasteless. It was nowhere as flavourful as I and used to in the UK. The place is very tiny, if you are tall you barely going to fit on the seats. Sadly. The coffee was good though so it is a 4 star. If the food would improve I would give 5!

Amazing place. Great middle-prices breakfasts. Home environment - owner knows clients by names! Freshest avocado in town! However, poor music decision - too loud and active. I would prefer quieter and calmer songs when I eat. Not many sitting places inside.

Excelent brunch place! Food was delicious, customer service was one of the best I've experienced in Hungary. Many foreigners come here but the staff is very patient with helping out everyone and their English level is very good. I loved the tea pot they served my tea in and my server was more than happy to provide me the website where I could buy it! :) When walking out the door the staff gave me a cheery goodbye which made me feel very welcome. Only thing I could nit-pick is the club music played throughout the place. Its gets a bit repetitive after a time but the staff seemed energized by it so I can't complain. Limited seating so I recommend you try and go when it's less busy. Definitely will be back! Köszönöm :)

Really like this place, quality of the food is very good, just a few things: The music is very intense, maybe don't come here if you're hungover, it will not help with your headache (I speak from experience) The bread crust can be really hard so sometimes it turns into a whole arm-workout trying to cut it There could be a few more vegan (or egg-free) options when it comes to the bread. Other than that, love it! The smoothie bowl was very interesting, in a good way!

Nice little cozy place with good vibes. Eggs benedict were good, staff was very nice, and the prices are not crazy as they are at some other brunch places. As we came in pretty late, before closing there were tables available. But day after when we passed by around 11 am we saw about 10 people in line to get in. So you should prepare to wait a bit to be seated. As I said, it is small space with maybe 5 tables for two, and bar seats for about 6 people up and 6 people down. Also there is terase but in November you can't sit outside. Overall great place.

This place is honestly amazing. It’s the coziest little shop with amazing food, drinks, and desserts. The atmosphere is second to none with great music that literally had me dancing as I ate. The owner and the staff were great and helped me through the menu and gave great recommendations. I then spoke to the owner and asked him about his life and experience and his story is amazing. He even threw in an amazing tote bag for my wife with him as an avocado. All in all I will DEFINITELY be back every time I’m in Budapest!

First of all; the food and drinks are great! The coffee is sublime and the bread with egg, avocado and other stuff is delicious indeed. The place is definitely cosy. It has a sort of cosy and playful industrial look which they pulled of very well. The music fits the scene and is energetic yet unobtrusive. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a place for a good breakfast, even if that's in the afternoon. :)

Great place to eat and drink. The passion fruit lemonade tastes great! The LCS breakfast and the Salmon beetroot (they kindly allowed us to exchange the salmon with poached eggs) were super delicious. The cake was a little too sweet, but that is just my personal opinion, overall it was still really good. The staff is really friendly and the food tastes amazing. I totally recommend this place.

Everything was nice and tasty. The price is a bit too high, in my opinion, but on the other hand, they don't add service automatically, which is a big plus as in every other place we've been to, they add 10%-15% doesn't matter the service. We ate 2 toasts with eggs, salmon/sausage. 2 pieces of different cake (the blueberry cake was a really good one with sweet and sour flavors). They have a large cappuccino, which is also a good option that many other places don't have in Budapest. And they had oat milk, which is good (extra 250). We came on a cold Saturday morning (18/11), so the place was really full. Enjoyed a nice table upstairs. The staff was really nice. Which is a good bonus in Budapest, not something you get everywhere there. Peace and love from Israel!

The food is so delicious it took me coming here 6 times to get a picture. 😋 I just couldn’t wait and had to dig in ! Biggest compliment to the chef. The poached eggs are ALLWAYS on point and the lady who runs it always makes me feel so well looked after. It is a bit like coming home. As a digital nomad that is absolutely precious ☺️

This establishment offers a truly pleasant atmosphere, though seating is quite limited, making it uncertain if you'll get a spot as soon as you decide to dine here. We were lucky to find an available spot on the terrace. The place operates in a bistro style, so you need to order at the counter. The staff was very friendly, adding to the overall delightful and appropriate ambiance. By the way, my girlfriend and I ordered Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royal, along with an espresso, which cost us 20 euros. I was given a number to take to our table. The service was swift. The coffee tasted delightful, with predominant sour notes complemented by slightly bitter undertones. The detail of the red cup was a visual treat for me. As I hadn't tried this type of eggs before, it was a first for me. But I must say, the breakfast was very tasty. The portion was a bit small for its price, but it was sufficient. If you're in the vicinity and are fortunate enough to find a spot, I highly recommend giving it a try.

It's a great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The food is amazing! Salmon sandwich with avocado and egg is top notch! Service is beyond all expectations. The staff is friendly and very easygoing. The place is small. It has two floors and tables outside, though. It is very cozy. Here's a photo of our meal we had the other day.

Gorgeous spot for brunch! The stuffed avocado benny is spectacular and the middle Eastern French toast the best breakfast we had in Budapest (here for over a week!) Coffee is exceptional and very affordable for the city. Highly recommend their cold brew! Luca made my partner the nicest corcado he has ever had. This is honestly a perfect spot for an early breakfast or recovery hang over brunch. Can't wait to be back. Also their bacon 🥓 🤤🤌🤌🤌

Great ambiance and super nice techno music playing. We were fortunate to sit upstairs overlooking the restaurant so it was pretty calm but it seemed like the outside sitting downstairs were pretty smushed and in heavy traffic. We got the poached egg toast and my wife got avocado and they fine a very generous portion! The food was excellent and priced well. The coffee was great too. I would recommend to go during a non-busy time because this is a very popular breakfast spot.

The owner is really friendly, great customer service. It's a small but cozy place. shakshuka and salmon avacado toast were great. In my opinion, it was the best shakshuka I ever had. The flavors and spices used were perfect for this recipe. So creamy and delicious. I might be coming back just for having breakfast here. The value for money was also super. Overall, I would have given more stars. Definitely recommended.

We came for a brunch and it was great - the only thing is that the place is tiny so you better find the table. And also you can sit inside on the second floor but during the summer it’s too hot( Food was good) we preferred our bowls than shakshuka because they were fresh and shakshuka was pretty basic - with hard eggs and etc. Latte was good:)

  • 5/5 Jake 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely love this café - they sell great food and drink at very reasonable prices. Staff are very polite and welcoming, atmosphere is very cool but relaxing. It is very small but popular, so peak times for brunch can make it tricky to find a seat. The banana bread is absolutely divine.

Best place to have breakfast, we stayed 3 days in Budapest and 3 days we went there to have breakfast, even though I'm not usually a fan of repeating places, but here was inevitable, everything was exquisite, from coffe to the breads. We took a banana bread and a chocolate to go for the trip to the airport cause is the best I’ve ever tried, I’m looking forward to go back to Budapest to breakfast here!

I just had a lovely solo breakfast at London Coffee Society. My avocado smoothie bowl was delicious, and it was such a nice touch that it was not only drizzled with peanut butter, but the adorable wooden spoon was also dipped in peanut butter so that I got peanut butter with every bite. The avocado toast with smoked salmon and matcha latte were also great.

A bustling restaurant in demand, and for good reason! The food was delicious, eggs cooked perfectly, sourdough bread fresh and crisp, the coffee was good and it was cosy and comfortable. Small spaces and the hum of chatter on a Saturday morning set a delightful atmosphere. Order downstairs before you find your seat (but do check that there is one available first!). Well worth a visit!

My go-to for the best all day breakfast in Budapest! Proper size servings, coffee in actual cups, not a glass like some of the other hyped-up bistros in the city. Staff is super friendly. You can’t go wrong with ordering anything here on the menu, especially the Eggs Benedict. This is a family owned gem, and to top it off, the interior of the place and music has always a good vibe. Very cool 😎👍

The place is very small and it was crowded. Once you get in, it is very difficult to move to your table, since there is not much space between tables. We ordered two flat coffees, unfortunately they were too sour for our taste. I returned mine with almond milk and asked for an espresso. The staff told me that the taste came from the coffee that was specialty, not from milk as I thought and recommended me not to order anything else. The response could have been better or said in a nicer way.

Small powerfull breath taking coffeeshop. Coffee taste as excellent as staff in shop. We heard usually full of customers but now we catch place outside.

Amazing food and coffee. Had only 15 minutes to order eat&pay, Vilmos was super quick and helpful. Extra points for the music, just my kinda vibe.

Lovely menu, especially if you like avocado! Great coffee too. Only downside, it's a tiny place with limited seating meaning longish queues sometimes. You have to queue to order and pay beforehand, so not the best place on weekends when it's usually pretty packed of you're in a hurry. If you're in no rush though, definitely recommended!

Good coffee and breakfast we had as lunch, since they offer all day breakfast. Normally it is full of hangover tourists, but in pandemic situation we could consume our order quietly in a space enough.

🫤 The waiters are not nice at all and the guy at the entrance is super arrogant. The queue was super long and there were several open tables around us. People complained about it. We were lucky to get food served pretty quick. The 2 stars are deserved for the great food for reasonable pricing! The cle...
