Beautiful park, full of terees and facilities for all kind of activities. The perfect spot to relax after a busy day/week. Surprisingly calm and pieceful. One of the oldest park of Budapest. There is 2 playgrounds for kikds, numerous statues, beaches, tables. These is even a book vending machine and an other book box to relax your mind too. Highly recommend to visit! There is a good museum right next to it and a restaurant too. The buildings are quite pretty around as well.

Beautiful haven in the middle of buildings, ideal to enjoy a cup of coffee, relax with a book and enjoy the shade of trees, the colour's of flowers and the vibe of locals who come here for a short break and lie on the grass to enjoy it. Its the place that I least felt like a tourist! Something that did not go unnoticed in disappointingly touristic in all the bad ways Budapest. Also the cleanest public toilet I have ever seen!

A very pleasant and calm outdoors garden, for hanging out with young kids. It has 3 separate playgrounds for different ages, and also nice grass areas and benches to have quiet picnics.

Back to my childhood and still my favorite garden in the central part of Pest… There is the most prominent foto and contemporary art gallery Vintage also the Palace is there where the Petôfi Irodalmi Múzeum U can find. Try out the Pinto TAPAS BAR, they star to open from 5 PM

The Garden was already a peaceful haven for students, families, or for simply enjoying reading a book in a sunny and green environment. After the opening of the Petöfi Museum esplanade, the perspective widened and the whole Károly kert becomes an enchanting place to spend some hours....Moreover, several good restaurants are walking distance

Beautiful and well taken care of. There are swings for kids but also quieter areas to just sit and chill maybe with a book.

Great park, has an outdoor fitness. At the time I was there they were shooting a movie next to the park so it sounded the whole time like criminals were in a tire-screeching car chase. But I guess this is not regularly the case.

The beauty of this place is undeniable. he Karolyi Garden is a public park located in the heart of Budapest, Hungary. It was originally the private garden of the Károlyi family, one of the most prominent aristocratic families in Hungary, but it was opened to the public in the 20th century. The park is known for its beautiful landscape design, including a large fountain, a rose garden, and a pond. It is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, providing a peaceful and serene oasis in the midst of the bustling city.

Such a shame the fountains have no water in them due to a lack of rain. Beautiful park all the same.

6 years living in Sweden, never been mesmerized with a park that actually perfect for toddler like mine! Even I was enjoying playing in there! I would say all of the toys are playable for my 2,5 yo son. The sand place is full with plastic buckets, and all other accessories so we dont need to bring our own sand bucket. It is super highly recommended!

An amazing park for kids with restroom. Away of traffic and with lots of toys. Inside it there is another small kids park that is open to public only outside kindergarten hours which is quite cool.

Very nice garden, Nice playground for children, including large slides, mini climbing hills, sand… etc. The main negative thing is the scarce toilets, only a couple and on the outskirts

It is such beautiful park. I spend hours sitting there, while my daughters plays in the sand box and play area. It has clean washroom, you can use it for free.Kids can see rabbit near washroom. It is not over crowded either like other parks. Mostly people from neighborhood comes there.

This beautiful garden is an island of peace in the middle of a crowded, noisy quarter. A real bunny is even live there. Using the toilet was payless when I was there.

This place is amazing and I cannot wait until the renovations and the reunification with the former Károlyi residence finishes. We usually come here during weekends with the kids so they can enjoy the playground. There seem to be lots of expats hanging out here as well which is cool.

One of the best park with playground in Budapest. It has a walking trail. When children play, parents can take a walk.

Staff at the park are very rude and unfriendly. A small angry old man who works there shouted at us for walking through the park smoking. We did not know it was no smoking. We said sorry and left the park when we were informed however this sad little man who worked there wanted impose what little authority he had.

A medium playground for children and there are many benches for parents. At one gate there is a small beershop where you can buy beer with snack.
