I've been to many escape rooms before, and the Project Heisenberg is the worst one. The puzzles are not good, even the intsructure couldn't explain their solution, totaly waste of time and money, keep away.

We came 10 minutes before the game, but they do not accept credit cards. This info was not shared in advance. So before the game we were asked to go out and find an ATM. After we came back with the cash, they said we are late and they need to shorten the time of the game because we are late.. In the game a few puzzles didn't work too. The worst experience ever. Luckily there are other places in Budapest that are better by far.

It was a very good decision to choose the locked room as our first escape room. We had a great time! Our staff referee (Yuri) was also very nice. We played the Sevenhill room (difficulty 8/10), it was very exciting and inventive.🥳

An amount of fun that can be measured in buckets. We came twice as a couple, and we a) stayed a couple, b) can already tell it's not the end of our visits. It's a great exercise in joined problem solving, and thinking outside of the box. The rooms are very well designed which makes for a very immersive experience. If you want to get away from screen-based entertainment, this is really one of the best options. So far we did the Heisenberg Project: harder than described on the website, also our first time in an escape room, took us about 15 min longer than the designated time; and the Motel: more of a detective game than an "escape" with more elements/clues to solve than just numerical codes! The staff is very friendly—it's clear they are enthusiastic about escape rooms, and knowledgeable about the rooms that the place offers. They are happy to recommend a room to match your preferences. There is coffee and water available in the premises, and even when the place is busy, it doesn't have the feeling of crowdedness. Pictures inside the rooms are not allowed so I'm sharing some from the lobby. pro tip: Do yourself a favour and use the selfie machine, you can get ridiculously cringy in there (so cringy I won't even share).

My girlfriend and I spent a week in Budapest playing 20 Escape Rooms. The rooms of Locked and ARoom( both providers belong together) were all exceptionally good. As someone who has more experience in Escape Rooms it is difficult to find good providers, but I can promise that the staff, waiting areas and rooms are all top class! We had planned to play "only" 3 of the 9 rooms offered, but they were so good that we ended up with 8 out of 9 rooms. My personal highlights were -Pirate Ship -Motel -Serial Killer -Bank Robbery. Once again, my compliments to the staff. You guys are great. Ps: When new rooms open we will surely come back again!

Great room although we weren’t able to complete it as the room malfunctioned, the staff were very accommodating and very nice and let us have a room at another one of their establishments free of charge, plus we didn’t even have to wait(AROOM). That room was wonderful as well. Thank you very much Dani 😊, very good customer service, will definitely come back again if we are ever in Budapest. I recommend everyone to try one of their rooms, if you are looking for activities in Budapest

We did the Zodiac Killer escape room. It was fun. However, the clues and some of the pieces did not make sense, or were not the best clues, especially towards the end. My expectations were higher for that price. Nice and energetic staff.

Recommended! We (my boyfriend & me) had so much fun! The rooms are very nice, with their special effects and decorations! Also the puzzles are really fun. The puzzles are well thought out. Everything is well put together! The staff is also very friendly and enthusiastic. It's also nice that you get a discount when you come back. We did 2 escape rooms here while we visited Budapest - Seven Hill and Serial killer and both were very enjoyable! We found that Seven hill is a bit harder than Serial killer, which is true to their rating. The staff were very attentive and passionate about the rooms! We were served by Vicki and Viktor on both of our visits and they were very friendly and approachable, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Definitely worth the money!

We completed the "Motel" room. Fun for parents and teens alike. Friendly helpful staff, fun puzzles. Kids want to go back.

We did 10 rooms within 24 hours back in 2021, and the quality of those rooms was absolutely incredible compared to anywhere else. Now, we are returning to budapest for the opportunity to explore the two new rooms. Can't recommend A Room and locked room enough

This was such a great experience! We did two escape rooms (seven hill and serial killer) during our stay and it was amazingly well done. The games are exciting and just the right level of difficult and the staff is simply amazing. Would definitely recommend this!

Slick escape room - we played Motel. One of the more modern and well appointed rooms we've played, utilising lots of tech. Still reminiscent of gen 1 escape rooms with a variety of locks! Not too complex and would recommend to those who may have played one or 2 rooms before. We really enjoyed it and Wolfy was an excellent host.

Took on the challenge of Project Heisenberg! We really enjoyed it. Employee's were lovely and helpful, think we were helped by Bia who was amazing. Didn't think we would make it in time, but we did escape! Good quality of rooms and puzzles. Would recommend 10/10

The best escape room ever! It's very logical, the clues are connected to each other to help you solve the puzzle. The design is absolutely spectacular. And also the staff is awesome. I have been in many rooms by the Locked room and I've already met a few operators. Today for instance, we had Liliana who even got the time to chat with us after the game. She was very friendly and lovely. I can definitely recommend this escape room to anyone!

Brilliant experience. My husband and I did the Motel room and despite it being my first time, we made it out with 13s to spare. Shout out to Dani our game master who made the game brilliant fun. Would highly recommend.

Visiting from the US and we have done escape rooms all over the US. We did the Heisenberg room. This escape room was so well built and very fun clues. The website states 7/10 difficulty. We finished as a group of 2 in 40 minutes with 2 clues, but we are avid escapers. Our room master was Dodo who we highly recommend. He was extremely interactive and made the room even more fun.

Such an amazing experience. The staff was great, the Heisenberg room was very challenging but still super fun and we managed to complete it with only a few seconds to spare. Would definitely recommend to any puzzle/mystery lovers!

Amazing experience at Locked Room, I can't rate it highly enough. We completed Bunker Heist (9/10 difficulty). Staff were exceptional, and really helpful in English too. The rooms were extremely well designed with multi-room layouts, a range of puzzles, access to hints, and amazing visuals - all at a reasonable price. The game effects were really cool and the game master was so enthusiastic. Free drinks and secure baggage storage were available as well as toilets and games to play whilst waiting. Go here if you can!

This was my first escape room experience, and I'm happy to say that it lived up to all of my expectations. The room we've played was Project Heisenberg, and the challenges were really enjoyable and surprisingly creative. Hints were given at certain time intervals (if you were falling behind the curve on certain challenges), and they were just the right amount of informative, without clearly giving away the answers. The staff was super nice, and Dani, our game master for the day, gave us a concise and accommodating introduction to escape rooms in general, and the do-s and don't-s of the specific room we were about to play. After completing the challenge, there's a photo-booth available to take some photos of the "great escape" - (these can be sent to an email address you provide, directly from the machine). We will definitely come back to try the other challenges there as well. :)

First escape room for all but one of us yesterday so we chose the ‘easiest’ ‘Motel’ - it was still very much a challenge but we just about did it in time with a few hints asked for along the way! Great experience with friendly professional staff. A big shout out to Dani for his great customer service when I realised soon after we’d left that I had left my phone in Mr Thompsons motel room! Dani had already e-mailed me about it. Thanks Dani. Total recommendation if you’re visiting Budapest.

An amazing escape room facility. Free coffee on arrival, the staff do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Amazing atmosphere, a nice addition that they do not use walkie-talkies but on-screen hints or audio clues when you get stuck. Dani and Isabella were amazing hosts, full of energy and super kind throughout the experience. I cannot recommend this room enough. Our first room here was Motel, the second is the Zodiac killer.

My friend and I have mastered two rooms so far. We did the heisenberg project on the first day and were so impressed that we immediately booked another room for the next day. Unfortunately, only the Bunker heist was free, which is rated 9/10 for difficulty, so we booked it without much hope of success. We were so happy that we still made it with 3 minutes to spare. This room really is mindblowing, as there is a lot of information and no linear solution. In terms of both technology and puzzles, this was the best room I've ever done.

We had great time today. It was 2 of us so we went for Zodiac Killer. We had so much fun and our game master Bia helped us every bit we felt stuck. We will definitely come back to try other rooms!

We had an amazing experience at Locked Room! Very English inclusive and super friendly. Our gamemaster Leo was super helpful and sweet and it was my best experience at an escape room ever. I'd definitely recommend visiting if you love challenging puzzles and well decorated rooms with great storylines!

We did the motel room and the pirate ship - both very nicely designed, you can really feel the vibe. The AC was working well which was a lifesaver when it’s >35°C outside but it was VERY inconvenient that card payments aren’t accepted. Overall a great experience though!

We came as a couple, having never done an escape room before. We chose the Motel room, and we really enjoyed it - the right level of challenging, interesting puzzles, and lots to do - I think we finished just a couple of minutes after the allotted time, and they gave us the time to finish. Boro and Leon both great, highly recommend this.

We have recently played Heisenberg room, we love all the enigmas except one of the last ones because of the clue-legend was a bit confusing. The ambience was very well made and the staff is kind! I complete recommend

very nice workers! games were very well made but if you are not very very good at solving escapes room i’d recommend taking one of the easier ones. we played a mid difficulty level room and we couldn’t solve any riddles 😭 but the workers were extremely generous with and gave us extra time and clues! would definitely recommend! (and the waiting area is very nice)

We did almost all of the rooms ! Cool theme, cool mechanics. Some of the rooms are really hard to finished in time without hints. Marietta was a perfect game master ! She helped us the right way with small hints that didn't spoiled the game. I can only recommand

If you are looking for fun, challenging and beautifully designed escape rooms then Aroom/Locked Room is the perfect choice! Me and my girlfriend have been to Budapest for a week and we have developed and addiction for escape rooms. And that is party thanks to you guys! In total we have done 8 of their rooms and we loved every single one of them. Lili and Marietta were our game masters for all the rooms and they did a phenomenal job! Not only did they explain the rules and introduce us to the game but they also made sure we got in the spirit of each rooms theme. It’s amazing to see the employees being excited about escape rooms too! Based on our playing style Lili even recommended us new rooms to try (both in and outside the company when we had tried most of theirs). We tried them and they were great recommendations. Thank you Lili! The puzzles are fun, challenging and unique. This is a perfect place for beginners to get the best introduction to escape rooms but even if you an experienced “player” you will love most of the rooms! And if you think you are an expert: I dare you to take “Bunker Heist”. It’s a great way to challenge your sanity! Even though 3-4 people is recommended, we did great only being 2 people. It’s a shame you can only take an escape room once! But we will definitely be back for more when they have new rooms for us to try! See you in a couple of years!

Locked Room is A++ when it comes to epic and challenging escape rooms, we have done two rooms here so far and have booked a third! Also Roland the game master is a legend answering all our questions and making the game even more fun! Highly recommend!

Loved it, did the Heisenberg and the Motel room, both were amazing. In the Heisenberg room some of the puzzles need a bit of improvement or at least some sort of inside clue to be able to figure them out - but overall wonderful experience.

It was so much fun!! We did the deadland and we enjoyed it a lot, the riddles weren't too hard especially with the help of the fantastic host Roland and we thank him very much. Would definitely recommend for everyone

The location is very central, easily accessible which was great. The vibe of the place and the employees were absolutely awesome. My only 2 concerns were the room itself being very linear and relatively easy despite the marketed 9/10 difficulty and the fact that there were a few technical issues as well. Fortunately our gamemaster Noemi was absolutely friendly and helped us through the technical problems and let us finish the room with a tiny bit of overtime, which made the whole experience significantly better. Overall Location 10/10 Atmosphere 7/10 Customer service 10/10 "Bunker heist" room 2/10 Price/Value ratio 3/10

Had a phantastic time with Lea and Viktor. Service was on point. The first room we played (serial killer) was lots of fun but more a warm up. Then we went into 'seven hills' which was a real riddle for us. Just be precise with the direction-locks 😁🙌🏼 We're planning to come back and try the other ones 💪🏼

We are a couple with some escape rooms experience. We went back to Locked room and Aroom to do Ghosts Castle after doing Metro, House of Escobar, Serial Killer, Motel, Seven Hill, and Research Base. All of them were really amazing with the concept and puzzles. The decoration of the rooms was awesome and we liked the story line. Puzzles were really great and challenging. The game masters were very kind and professional:) We had some issues with the last room, Ghosts castle, which was totally an amazing room. However Daniel, the owner of the place cares a lot about his customer experience, and has solved the issue quickly. I highly recommend that great service with caring about the customer experience. Highly recommended, you will enjoy everything.

Our best escape room experience yet! We chose the Zodiac killer room because it was recommended for two people. We have never experienced such professional staff before, the room was also very tastefully decorated, full of excitement. We always got help when we needed it and we got out successfully.
