Very nice place to visit in Budapest. Great for a picnic or for a walk. I do not recommend the restaurants here because the price is too high for the low quality and I found the staff ignorant and high-minded, next time I eat somewhere else.

Since they renewed the area it is really green and visibly maintained. There is even a parking lot for those who come with a car, otherwise it is somehow also easily reachable by public transportation just needs a little walk. Big black point for dogs are not allowed as before renovation it was never a problem and there are parts along the "coast" where anyway you cant swim they could go for a swim or just settle there and not disturbing anyone (if they are afraid dogs will ruin the grass where anyway people walk over and push strollers or lie on blankets...). Also surprising that at the free, public park part no swimming allowed and 200 meters away there is a beach where you can swim in the same water for a high price... It a nice a place for friendly gatherings as you can choose to go for trendy and poshy bars and restaurants or choose the park for a picnic.

I visit this idyllic park in every season, and I cannot decide when I love it more. In January and February, and in winter in general, is deserted and all the restaurants and bars are closed. A very different charm compared to the spring and summer days, when it is lively, even overcrowded at times, but with still plenty of grass for you to rest on peacefully. The walking paths are wonderfully landscaped and the views on the Danube are lovely on either side. The last days I saw the turtles sunbathing too! I personally walk to the regenerated area and back, but there's a car park available on site, which you have to pay for.

Lovely part of Budampest. There’s a couple of nice restaurants and ice cream parlours. Nice place to relax and enjoy

I liked this place for one reason mainly: 1) It's an ideal place if you're looking for some silence. Actually, it was amazing to know that just a few kilometers away of Budapest's downtown, you can find this spot full of nature. The only detail I didn't like much about this park was that I ocassionally could see some trash on the floor, but other than that was a nice experience.

I'm just saying quietly it was amazing to be here as usual. It wasn't crowded although we went on Sunday in the afternoon. You can sit to the grass if you want. There are many restaurants and caffee here. ☺️🙏

Wonderful and serene park to ride your bike, or take a leisure walk! Great places for refreshments and food. It's located right by the banks of the Danube. Lovely scenery.

It's a nice park right enough far from the city noise even tho it is still in the city , among all parks it is maybe the nicer cause you could even swim in the river if you would like to since there are spots beach/like where you can sit and sunbath

Great place for pastime. Walking, talking , training. Restaurants here. Weddings and other gatherings can be organized and conducted here. Surrounded by the Danube river.

An amazing place away from the hustle bustle of the city. There are many cafes and ice-cream shops so it would be a great combination for a short trip on the Denube bank and enjoying the nature. There is also a big parking and easily reachable by both public transport and personal car. It's a best place to visit within Budapest for a summer weekend. Highly recommended!

Just a lovely and calm area. There’s a couple of nice restaurants and ice cream parlours. But most are a bit pricey for Hungarian standards. There’s a lovely beach bay where the food and drinks are quite pricey but amazing.

Good peaceful place where you find good restaurants. You can enjoy beautiful weather and view near lake shore. You can also walk and run

Beautiful place, love it. Or at least it was beautiful a few years back, when it was new. The park is not well taken care of. Lots and huge weeds everywhere, the once nice lawn is full of weeds, horrible at some places... it should be well maintained, like back in time. The new metal fences surrounding areas are horrible, they do not fit in the natural scene... the old wood and rope fences were a much better choice, but they are falling apart.. where's park maintenance??

Peaceful, neat, well-maintained and clean area. There are quite a few options for eating out, or having a drink or ice-cream, but prices are high (compared to other areas). It is ideal to take a walk, have a picnic, or read and chill on the side of the Danube. It is also great for families, but not for dog-owners, as dogs are not allowed in the area.

A great place to visit especially with a bicycle. It's divided into two halfs, one filled with restaurants, and the one is a chill place to read, lay down in the grass or just relax is general.

Great place to walk or run during the day or sunset time. There are various restaurants. It's also possible to ride bicycle. The thing i don't like is poor lighting at night

  • 5/5 Erdinç . 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful place to chill and feel like out of the city. Super close to the real life but makes you feel like out of the chaos.

  • 5/5 Hill G. 2 years ago on Google
Since it has been renovated, this place turned into a safe haven for me. It’s beautiful and clean, nice pavements and great cafés/bars/restaurants where you can sit down and enjoy yourself. Walking to the edge of it and enjoying the scenery, watching ducks and swans, the whole thing is so idyllic.

Nice park with places to sit, and lots of restaurants. Pest can also be seen from here on the other side of the river Danube.

After such a long time it was great to return to Kopaszi. A place to enjoy the sunshine, walk with your grandchild...
