Its a nice church thay still operates. The building is quite nice but as a tourist i had to pay to get inside. Its nothing special really you can see it from the outside and also enjoy the surroundings and the great park next to it.

A good reproduction of a medieval church, but as a reproduction that it is, and also small, I don't understand why there is an entrance fee.

Jaki Chapel in Budepest's City Park was built for Hungary's Centennial Exposition. The Chapel is a copy "in smaller part" of the 13th century Roman Abbey in Jak Hungary. It's new rainbow 🌈 like arched flower beds add additional color to the Chapel's entrance and provide a nice backdrop for photos around the statute of Daranyi Ignac, Budepest"s Minister of Agriculture.

It is the best-known Hungarian Romanesque monument, a copy of the typical gate with a gate located on the facade of the Ják church.

So called Jaki Chapel is a copy of the chapel in West Hungarian village of Jak built by Benedictine monks in 1214. It is situated in the city park right behind the Vajdahunyad Castle. Original church dedicated to Saint Jacob and has to symmetrical belfries. So, it is not 100% copy but a copy of the main portal. Otvenhatosok tere or City Park. Pest, Budapest, 🇭🇺 Hungary 🇭🇺. A really gorgeous piece of architecture. Beautiful statue outside and as picture present great lines. Inside it’s simple which is so different compared to the outside. Great spot for a picture and not far from the entrance

Gorgeous architecture, you can't stop taking pictures of this one There was a small entry fee, not much going on inside, very small and austere, but for 200ft it was fine otherwise people would stomp inside at times given the tourist flow The chapel is a reproduction of a bigger church and just like the Vajdahunyad next to it was meant to be temporary for the millennium exhibition. I'm glad they decided to keep it and make the whole area into a thing, it's one of the most pleasant in the whole capital

I love the façade of this chapel. Like most religious buildings, it's heavily decorated
