A cafe near the church exit. Amazing food and views over the lake. I had the apple pie and ice-cream. Delicious. Toasties and pizza are also really good.

This place is seriously one of the most beautiful cafes i have ever been too, food was amazing and the staff were super friendly, the prices for such a view and service are fair. You must try the lavender lemonade! Will go back again anytime soon i am in Tihnay.

Always a great choice if you want to have a quality coffee and pastry with a fascinating view over the Lake Balaton, right next to the abbey. There's a huge variety of cakes, coffee and seasonal drinks/other dishes. Quality is excellent with a great attitude of service.

Such and gem! Not only are the staff and pastries / local specialties incredible, but you can't beat the spectacular view of Balaton lake :-)! Absolutely loved discovering this local favorite! Go and check it out the next time you pass by, and there are some unique specialties like everything made from Lavender :-)! Refreshing Lavender lemonade and a variety of cakes spiced as well with Lavender! I know I will be visiting again soon!

Lovely place, very beautiful view and delicious drinks, desserts. There were a lot of waiters and everyone was attentive. Such a place is a must visit if you are in this area. At least once worth it and the price is totally normal I think! Yes because of the view and it’s because this coffeshop is historical and iconic! I liked everything and will recommend to my friends.

Probably one of the best spots, ideal for coffee, pastries. Best views. Notable, the ice cream is top quality here. Just the flavor and texture. Even the vanilla is worth trying. Their lavender citrus ice cream flavor— first the acidity of the citrus hits you, then you get an aftertaste of lavender

Beautiful view to the lake Balaton. The ice creams are amazing. Currently, there is some construction going on outside, so you have to pay attention to the information signs. Staff members were professional and fast. The menu says that they accept only cash, but they accept card payments also by now.

Stunning view from our table. Delicious cakes, amazing lavender coffee. Very well maintained and nice place. Friendly and helpful staff. I didn't mind their price as the quality of the products and flavours were incredible. Would definitely come back soon.

I absolutely love this place. If I'm at the Balaton I make an excuse to come here. The cakes are phenomenal, worth every penny. The coffee/espresso is also absolutely excellent. The barista is very very skilled. And of course, the most important feature is the view. Make a reservation to secure your spot at the edge of the terrace, with the whole lake and neighbouring hills at your feet.

One of the BEST views on the lake. VERY nice. The cakes are delicious and the menu is pretty diverse for a cafe and patisserie Recommended for sure.

Good service and very tasty glutenfree cake. The view is amazing, the only minus is, that if you set down at a table, you can't change it later. It means if you are not lucky enough to find a free table in the first line upon arrival, you will not have the chance to admire the beautiful panorama to the lake.

Excellent service and the view is just perfect. My family was in Tihany for only a few days and we ate here for both a dinner and breakfast. We loved everything we had! The breakfast menu is small but delicious. There are many menu items featuring lavender- local treats you won’t find anywhere else. Definitely worth a visit!

The view is amazing ; A bit noisy specially when kids are around.. I tasted pizza here which was tasty. Try to book in advance specially in weekends to get a table outside and specially with closed top!

Excellent service by Martin! He recommended the very delicious Mango-pestachio-passion fruit cake which is a must! Great Hot Chocolate as well. Best view in town! We came here on a cloudy day in late April and loved it!

The cakes, the lemonade and the views are perfectly matched. It is worthy of a visit if you are in Tihany. However, choosing a sunny weather to sit out is quite important as a windy and cold day will blow your mind away.

If you are near Tihany, you need to try this confectionery. The view is from the terrace is breathtaking. There is a great variety of cakes, gluten-free, sugar-free also.

Amazing view from the terrace where all tables are of Lake Balaton. Cakes are really tasty, elegant and complex. Waiters are very polite and caring, and there was at least 12 of them. Toilets are downstairs and spacious and clean. A little bit pricey place but the total experience is worth it 100%.

Very nicely made cakes, some unique and special tasting desserts. Coffee options are nice, even afogato and such. Only the service was a bit slow and not always polite, I guess due to the high demand for seats and the high temperatures.

Perfect! Amazing view, tasty desert. I took the Cremeschnitte with lavender (it’s not the accurate name but they’ll understand). The lavender is a nice touch to this classic desert. Reminds me of my late grandma’s Napoleon cake (this is a huge compliment, trust me). Also the service was wonderful. We had an issue with sensitivity and had to return another dessert (not touched) and they agreed to it without hesitation, which is not taken for granted. Would definitely recommend!

We came here twice with my girlfriend, second time for her birthday. The view is amazing, and the staff is very professional and kind. We had a great time, and it’s definitely a must go if you visit Tihany.
