I'm sad to have to write a poor review, as the previous ones were positive and I'm sure the experience depends on which doctor you see and which staff members you encounter. Unfortunately, this place was horrific for us. We were assigned to a doctor who didn't communicate well (in speaking style, not language problem) and wrote down a lot of incorrect information on my chart. Although the place was empty and we had an appointment, we had to wait over half an hour for a blood test. Nurses came in a couple times confused as to why we were waiting there. The charge for an appointment and blood test was over 70k ft, which is about 5-10 times more than it cost me at various other public clinics for the same services. This would have been worth it if the experience was positive, but it was not. After our appointment, the receptionist scheduled us back for a few weeks. They then emailed me that the date was wrong and wanted to move the appointment. But the most horrifying thing of all is that when my blood tests arrived, they emailed the results to me and no one had cared to look at it. Only after I inquired about the meaning of certain test results (that were in Hungarian) did the chart get sent to a doctor for review. A few days later they noticed I had an alarming situation that needed special care quickly. Luckily my husband had already noticed the problem on the results before their doctors even bothered to look, so we ditched the clinic and got help at some public hospitals. Here we got real care and service for a fraction of the price. The Hungarian government nurse also disapproved of the clinic because they didn't test me for some standard things despite the incredible cost. How sad to know that the doctors here don't even care enough about the patients to look at their test results. Seems like a money making machine more than anything else. I would not be able to recommend this place to expats or locals based on my dangerous experience of neglect and so many errors. The only plus side is that the receptionist who I was in touch via email with was helpful and polite. I sincerely hope that this was a one time slip up, but I suggest you look elsewhere. It's hard for expats, but if you have a Hungarian by your side even some of the public hospitals are much better than this clinic. Otherwise, try another.

We are completely satisfied with everyone! In particular, if I have any problems with Dr. Rigò Barbara, he will respond within 2 hours at the most! A rare conscientious doctor! My family loves it too! If you are looking for a conscientious and direct doctor, I highly recommend him

There is a saying; if you want good service fast it will cost you, if you want fast service for cheap it won't be any good and if you want good service for cheap, it won't be fast. This brings me to the problem/s I have with Maternity, these rules seem to not apply to them! When you agree to pay a premium price for a premium service what is expected is fast + good service hence why you choose a private provider over public services. Unfortunately fast seems to never be the case at Maternity, I do not even know why they bother taking down appointments. They expect you to be on time but the wait is minimum 1 hour. This brings me to next issue, the most disturbing one as a matter of fact, the management appears to turn a blind eye or maybe even promote taking advantage of customers. Let's just say the doctor advises to get blood taken to check liver function and you make an appointment for 7am- everything is confirmed at the reception, even which test will be administered and you get a definite price quoted for said blood work. The next day you partner makes her way to the clinic and waits an unprecedented 2 hours before it's her turn and then they do comprehensive blood work instead of what was needed and hand over a Proforma for 4 times the agreed amount. This is an infuriating act and abuse of unaware customers. They provide a lazy service that wasn't ordered or even needed, costing many hours of your workday at 4 times the agreed price. Great business model! This is the second google review I have written in my life but I couldn't let this go without speaking my mind. I have seen several complaints highlighting similar abuses, leading me to believe that this is common practice at Maternity and something future customers should consider. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because our doctor is really, really good and it would be unfair to not give credit where credit is due.

Last Thursday I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy at Maternity. Because it was my first child and I didn’t have any experience with any maternity or hospital here in Hungary, I made a lot of research during the whole pregnancy. I visited Maternity during the second trimester and everything was so nice! People was super friendly and they all spoke English. After this I still visited another private hospital super beautiful and new but every time I had a specific question about midwife or pregnancy they struggled to give me a proper answer and they were not so nice. Going to public hospital wasn’t an option for me because I don’t have Taj kartya and if I had to pay, I prefer to go to a better service. With all that said, I choose Maternity almost on the last minute and it was the BEST decision I made. I planned a natural birth, but at the time, because of other reasons and my personal decision (without any outside pressure), I had a C-Section. The procedure was very nice, super fast, they turned off the big lights at the time of birth, using only the auxiliar light and the most important: I was awake the whole time. The doctor waited the umbilical cord stop pumping before cutting it. The anesthesiologist even helped my husband to have a good angle and film the birth. I really felt respected and being taking care of! My husband had the tummy time with my baby right away at the delivery room and after at the family room while they were finishing the surgery procedures, and I have to say I was so tired that I may have slept while they were sewing me up. We stay two nights in a private room really being taking care of! Every time I had to breastfeed I could call a baby nurse and every time they came with a smile ready to help (even during the evening)! I could also call the nurse for myself at any time! Because I had such a great experience, I felt it made the difference and it impacted on my production of colosso and now milk. I wanted to leave such detailed birth experience because when I was making a research about where to delivery, it was information like that that helped me to build trust in Maternity. From the bottom of my heart I wanted to thank Kitti Horvath (my midwife) for being patient with me when I wasn’t in my best sound of mind because of the pain, and for holding my hand. I felt safe with her. And would like to thank Dr. Bence and Dr. Maria for stepping over when my doctor couldn’t be there and for making such a good work! For all the nurses and specially the baby nurses my heart is full of gratitude! Your love and care for my boy made my cry. I’m sure that I made the best choice for our family and we had the best experience on those first most important days of our life! I understand it’s a very expensive hospital, but it was worth to safe money because there are so much help provided, everything is very clean, the family room is very big, they provide clothes for the baby, mom and food for the mom and the second person. And the most important for me they respected my opinion and decision with a smile. Thank you very much Maternity ❤️

I had HG during pregnancy and once had to demand to see a doctor without an appointment for an unscheduled checkup for my peace of mind following a bout of serious nausea and vomitting. They did an ultrasound of the baby at every appointment which I felt was unusual. The most painful for me was that a summary of my medical report was given to me in Hungarian when I was relocating from Hungary during my pregnancy. It would have been nice and not been too much of an inconvenience in my opinion for the doctor to have at least tried to issue it in English. Instead, I was told to use a translation company to translate the report from Hungarian to English. This for me was very disappointing as I had stated right from the beginning that I was not going to be having my baby in Hungary; I just needed a good hospital for the time I was going to be in Hungary. For a private hospital, their customer service can be a bit better but they have all the amenities and equipment to manage a pregnancy and their doctors speak English and are quite nice. Also, a lot of my colleagues used their services so I assumed they must be one of the best in Budapest

I had a very pleasant experience with this clinic. Many private clinics I find, are all glamour and no substance. This was not the case here. All the staff were friendly, genuine, approachable and my surgeon was extremely helpful, kind and took his time to explain my case. My procedure went well, the room was bright, clean and the nurse was so sweet and kind. All in all, as clinics go in Budapest this one I highly rate. Congratulations.

The clinic is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Most of them speak English. I gave birth to my daughter there and was happy with my doctor and midwife. I had both of their phone numbers and could contact them anytime which was very nice. The rooms and food were very luxurious. I didn’t like how they were organized: to get the first doctors check ups of the newborn you need to come to 3(!!!) appointments, because each doctor works on a different day. Also, I was not informed when my lab results came back bad, it was up to me to call my doctor and ask how they were. In the back office i was in contact with a women who at some point left the clinic and no one informed me, until I asked why my documents aren’t being processed after emailing many people. They also don’t have parking unless for the 3 days after your birth. They have an English hotline, but it hangs up if you chose it- they haven’t fixed this in months.

This clinic is very well schooled in how to over charge for services, even more so than the standard practice for most clinics. Initial appointment 55K HUF. for blood work check...subsequent visit to read blood work results in person 10K HUF instead of simply communicating this via email. Another appointment set up to speak with another specialist for dietary recommendations based on blood work 10K HUF ...NO THANKS! Note: you can come here an hour before your appointment and you will still wait an hour after your appointed time to see someone if you are lucky.

My minor gynecological surgery was handled professionally by the team of doctors and assistants. The operation was preceded by meticulous and careful examinations, I thank the staff of the ambulance and inpatient reception for the comprehensive information and assistance. The atmosphere during the intervention was so soothing! For me, it was also an added value that after the operation I could rest alone in a clean room with its own bathroom. I was and remain safe and in good hands :) Thank you Maternity!

2 years ago we decided last minute (less than a week before the due date) to come to Maternity to give birth to our kid. It was a great experience, thanks a lot to all nurses and doctors they did an amazing job and treated us kindly. My wife was relieved once we were accepted and they decided in time to not do a natural birth, which can be dangerous if decided too late, so thanks again, Maxim is growing very well in Barcelona :)

Hospital and doctors are great, but time management is insane! EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to wait more than 30 minutes! While I’m writing this I’m waiting more than 40 minutes!!! I have an appointment at 11.00…now it’s 11.45!! I asked on the reception at 11.20 what is going on and when the doctor can see me? “Well, there are three patients before you!” Ok, how long I have to wait then? “Well, about 30 minutes” Hmmmm….guys really??? I came on time and have to wait about an hour??? And it happens every single time! Total disrespect for patients' time

Maternity is full of people willing to help. Everyone is kind and speak good English My wife has had a critical disease in which she had to be hospitalized. Meanwhile she was there, plenty of exams were done and they really took good care of her. I would recommend this clinic to everyone that needs support throughout the pregnancy. Special thanks to nurse Ágnes and Dr Maria and Ágota.

I recently had a laparoscopy (ovarian cyst removal) done, and I am extremely happy with the high quality level of service I received. As a foreigner, I was nervous to have a surgery in Hungary, but the doctors and nurses were detail oriented, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. It was truly the best surgery experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Bence Csako and nurse, Melinda. They both are absolutely some of the best medical professionals I’ve worked with. Thank you so much.

Five star experience in Maternity with beautiful design, easy reservation, well organized reception, comfortable waiting area, very well equipped consulting rooms, high tech laboratory. Best doctors and always smiling highly qualified staff are all for patients convenience. Highly recommended and greatly appreciated for all their help.

I was 16 weeks and 4 days pregnant, I went to the hospital to see if the baby was growing well or not. The quality of the ultrasound machine was poor, so I couldn't see anything. Comparing it with the ultrasound picture taken at 11 weeks at another hospital, it looked like a picture of two stones. The machine was not good, so there was a question as to whether the inspection was done correctly. I was upset because the ultrasound examination was so poor compared to the price, and I was even more worried because I couldn't properly check if the baby was normal.

i'm incredibly thankful for this hospital, the workers are the kindest, the environment is the most beautiful i could imagine at a hospital, the price is completely reasonable, i most definitely will be going back in the future!

The clinic is well structured, clean and the dr. did his job well, however this business undervalue the power of a good customer services. After receiving the result of my exam with over 3 weeks of delay they were not even able to write in their email “apologies for any inconvenience caused” - don’t they know the huge difference this small phrase have? Not mentioning the “smileless” receptionists that behaves like robots. Anyway, am not coming back neither recommending to others.

I had high expectations after reading all the excellent reviews and services provided by the clinic, but overall I was very much disappointed after visiting the clinic. I went for a consultation and apart from the general check up I hoped to know more about the clinic. However the consultation took around 5-10 minutes, the Dr barely asked me any question and after I did the exams there was no follow up by him or the clinic. Needless to say that I started looking for another doctor.

Not very impressed with the services. It was just not worth it considing how much was asked for birth package. 1. People at the reception desk are not professionals, poor language skills and making mistakes with appointments (not to mention, it caused us to pay even more). 2. The doctor we had was not really helpful, so we could not fully trust him. 3. On duty staff were not very caring when it comes to serious and urgent situation. Obviously there is a women who is about give birth and having hard time sitting and asking for a bed to lay down but they did not want to provide any. Only reason i am giving 2 is because of the facility compared to public. Though, it is quite dissapointing. Hope you would improve the services to meet the price tag.

I had a wonderful experience at the clinic as a first time mother. The support I received from the staff in all departments involved contributed to an extraordinary and unforgettable event. Special thanks to Doctor András Szuromi and the midwife Bernadett Oláh. I would choose them all over again.

I give the two points for today's daily treatment, which we faced in the Maternity Studio. We took my five-month-old daughter to the pediatrician, as we do every month. When we arrived, I wanted to take her to the changing room to undress her while my husband announced our arrival at the counter. One of the nice receptionists told us where we were going and who we came to, not in the nicest tone. My husband answered him normally, and then told us to take a seat in the place closest to the front door, because ONLY those who are waiting for the other appointment (anaesthesiology consultation) can sit next to the pediatrician's office, and we cannot take a seat there. 😄 I stood there completely senseless, because I just wanted to take my little girl to the changing room so she wouldn't get warm. I know it's a petite thing, but if the lady at the reception isn't having a good day, it shouldn't be projected onto the patients, especially not put in such a disrespectful and unpleasant situation in front of others!!! I would like to add that my daughter and I have been there five times, I was alone twice for an anesthesiology consultation and once for an endocrinology examination, but there was never a problem with where we sat or where I sat!
