The hostel is what made Budapest so fun. It truly felt like home staying here, I have never felt so welcomed at a hostel. Carpe is just the best hostel in Budapest. They have the best staff, always keen on helping. Is located in a great area with easy acces and good public transport. I always come back to Budapest because I love the city but mostly because of this hostel... its like my home away from home. the staff is super friendly and welcoming; they plan activities everyday and they cook for the guests delicious meals. Bella, Curb, Gabor, Honey and the wonderful Gemma will make you feel at home since the first minute you walk through the door. the hostel is very clean and its very central. you can walk everywhere. see you son family

So , what can I tell for this hostel or should I call it a second family ? The people , the place , the parties in the city all were perfect . In carpe I met people from all over the world , I had many experiences and I am not the same person anymore . Carpe made me love travelling alone and they have my respect , because from now on ,I want to live my life to the fullest and travel more ! The best community oriented/party hostel you'll find in Budapest! There are organized events every night, and everyone is tight-knit with each other

This was my first hostel. No other one will match the fun I had here! The staff are fantastic and ensure you feel welcome and safe in the hostel and on events. You really get to know the people you are staying with.

Really enjoyed my stay! Once you wrap your head around the building/location and understand how central it is to everything, it's great. The staff make you feel super welcome and are very friendly. Facilities are fine for a hostel where the focus is being out all day/night, so don't expect anything too flashy. Overall, highly recommended!

Great well located hostel to meet new people everyone is very cool and friendly. In addition bedrooms and bathrooms are also very clean b4 I come inside. One bad thing, going for the fourth floor when you're drunk is a challenge. Thnks to all the staff for all the events organized and making this travel a great journey to remember.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at! The staff do an amazing job at hosting social events to meet fellow travelers, and all the ones I went to were super fun. The rooms and facilities were clean and well-maintained for a hostel, and they do a good job at keeping quiet hours if you want to catch up on your sleep. The hostel is within walking distance to the main sites on the Pest side, and it's located close to public transportation lines for sites I couldn't walk to. If I'm ever back in Budapest I will be staying here again!

Always a good time at this PARTY hostel. As long as you ENGAGE with people and try to make friends, you'll have the time of your life. The staff is very accommodating and some of the best people you'll ever meet. Beds are decent, but make sure you bring ear plugs or ear phones, because nights can get nutty since it's a PARTY hostel. Location is great, transit is close, good food on every corner, a good dentist and barber within walking range, and a good shopping mall with a cinema less than 5 minutes away. Seriously, keep your itinerary open because you'll most likely never want to leave this place.

I popped my hostel cherry at Carpe Noctem, and I honestly couldn't have chosen a better hostel. The staff welcomed us with open arms. They were all very exciting humans and genuinely wanted to make our experience as great as possible. The Carpe crew took us on amazing adventures around the city, and each night just kept getting better. If you're looking for a weekend party trip, this is definitely the place to stay. The staff here is extremely friendly, the beds are the most comfortable bed Ive experienced in a hostel, they do laundry service. Give free coffee tea eggs and milk. Overall this is a very good hostel and I would highly recommend for anyone that is looking to have a good time in Budapest.

Absolutely amazing hostel! The people working here are like one big family. Even though it's a party hostel I had some of the most chill experiences as well as the best (and most comfortable) night's sleep that I've had in a hostel. It's also really clean and professionally run. I made several close friends that I'm definitely going to see again! Can't wait to come back for Halloween!

Easily one of the best hostels in the world and absolutely my favourite for my trip around Europe so far. The team there are fantastic at promoting a fun and safe party atmosphere and will do everything they can to make sure their guests are comfortable and have a great time in the city. Aside from a few beers over dinner, all of the partying happens at other sister hostels / bars around the city, so if you cook it too hard one night and need to chill, you absolutely can! Be sure to book this place!

Literally had the most fun with the loveliest and friendliest hostel hosts who will welcome you in like family and take you to the best bars and clubs. We ended up staying an extra 2 nights because we were having such a good time. Would really recommend- good vibes, good tribes !:)

Great place to stay in Budapest. It feels like a big family. We went for Christmas and we had an awesome time going to party places with the stuff and guests. Besides the stuff was great, we met Marcos and Dani, from spain like us and they were so friendly to us! I cant wait to come back :)

HANDS DOWN. Best hostel ever!!! If you are debating whether or not to stay here. Don’t. JUST DO IT. Comfy beds, clean environment, family-like atmosphere, and great event/nightlife experiences lead by an amazing team! HUGE shout out to Mouse, Mike, Jeeves, and Pesto for making my entire stay exceptional! This hostel is so incredibly lucky to have them! I have absolutely no doubt I will be returning here, and recommending it t everyone one I know travelling through Budapest! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Fun little party hostel where one can relax too if they wanted too. They don't have that many beds so its easy to socialize with other people. They were also quite clean and well maintained for a party hostel so that a major plus !

Honestly best hostel we've ever stayed at! Staff was all super fun and helpful! They are so accommodating and genuinely care about their guests! Hostel was super clean and the general atmosphere was pure fab! Daily activities and organized night activities. It's really like living in a house with a wild fun fam. Would 10/10 recommend! You WILL NOT REGRET IT! We even would have liked to stay longer! What a great experience! xx
