Small hostel on the high street in Budapest. Tricky enough to locate it but met with a friendly face at check in. **Rooms are not what they look like in photos** myself and a few other guests all agreed on this, things could be touched up a bit of fresh paint here and there wouldn't go amiss. There was also quite a strange smell for the duration of my visit. Gave it 2 stars based on price and location.

You can't get a location more central than this, right in the middle at the heart of Budapest. The room is very clean and spacious. There is a well equipped kitchen too. Only downside is the small and thin pillow provided, and they don't stock extras when I asked for one. I didn't get a good nightsleep because of this. But otherwise, a great hostel!

For the location of this hostel, it should REALLY have a sign indicating werew it is. There literally are no signs facing the street to let you know where the door is located. They have limited receptionist hours which is fine, but when you book a room online it literally asks you to select what time you'll be checking in (i.e. between 1900-2000, etc). If the reception closes at 2200, then Best Choice Hostel needs to either 1) eliminate the option of "checking in" between 2200-0800; or 2) provide late check ins with a gate code. Additionally, I never received an email response when I emailed them to try to get help with finding the entrance. I had to go to a nearby hotel for help. Best Choice? More like "Worst Decision". The pictures that people posted on booking make it look as if it is a nice hostel and it may well be, but there is too much sketchiness surrounding this hostel.

We booked with this hostel - paid and confirmed. We arrived before 10 pm and they already closed. Did not even wait for us. We booked another hostel nearby. Wasted money. :(

Small hostel but cozy. Everything what you need (shower, toilet, kitchen, eletricity) is there. Main advantage is location in the centre of Budapešť, not far from bus stop 100E to airport. Is true that is quite tricky to find the hostel, bud you will receive good information how to reach hostel 😁 Staff is very polite and helpfull

Great value for money, very clean and all the facilities and utensils you could possibly need for your travels. Definitely coming back

Hostel was super clean and staff really helpful. It is not easy to find the place without tips, theres no sign on the building. Just its a thai spa advert in front door. I would definetly recommend the place, pice and facilities are really good.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beds are big enough and clean. Also the great view on the street outside.
