A great hostel if you want to make friends and meet some lovely people as the staff were so friendly. Not the hostel for you if you want lots of privacy and an extreamly clean place. It has the vibe of a friends house that has been turned into a hostel. If you are a solo traveller or keen to party this would be the place for you. The full kitchen was good as I was able to make my own meals and the staff helped me out with everything I needed.

An amazing hostel, really feels like a family. The staff, Chandler and Giam are great at keeping the hostel running and wouldn’t hesitate to personally take you around the city. 10/10

If you wanna socialize with others and meet nice peepz this is the place to go. Recommended especially for solo travellers. It's very small and feels homy in no time.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Budapest, and it was without a doubt the best hostel experience I had in my entire 3 months in Europe. The staff is incredibly nice, outgoing, and helpful. They had the best recommendations for clubs and bars, and they even went out partying with a bunch of us one night. This is a great location and is THE ideal hostel for anyone traveling alone. It is a small hostel, which means you actually interact with the other guests. This turned out to be a great opportunity, as we all hung out and became great friends. Excellent hostel! I would recommend it to anyone.

Such a lovely place to stay - the staff are so friendly and helpful and the location is amazing! Very home-y and you feel like you’ve experienced a proper hostel :) (No aircon but there’s a few fans in the rooms, can feel a bit small but that’s part of the charm)

Had a fantastic stay here in this stylish hostel, the reception was most friendly. If you wanna make friends in Budapest, it would be a definite choice for you. English language skills are strongly recommended.

Beautifully charming hostel in a primo location. Located close to all the popular bars, landmarks and main public transport routes. Super friendly and insightful staff were happy to answer all our questions and offered great advice for activities to do in Budapest. Also at a great price, I’d definitely book at Bubble again :)

this is definitely the most bizarre hostel I’ve stayed in. in the best way possible. it’s also one of the more gritty places I’ve stayed. if you can’t handle a lack of privacy or pristine cleanliness, probably don’t stay here. if you can, then this place is the best in town!

This probably is my favorite hostel I have ever been to. It’s host is the best and friendliest host you will ever meet. I reached hostel at 9 am and the room was ready. She didn’t asked for payment and asked me to get a good sleep since I was at airport the night before. The location is amazing. It’s just 2 minutes walk to both Astoria and Kelvin Ter Metro. The rooms, bathroom, kitchen everything is super clean. I forgot to bring my towels and I received 2 clean towels without paying anything more. Bubbles isn’t a hostel, it feels more like home. Strictly recommended. It’s awesome.

I stayed with my girlfriend in early 2021. Good staff , good location and good feel overall but it’s dirty and old (the owner should refurbish the property as it needs refurbishment) Thank you to the volunteers Tam , Gareth and Anna .

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. The staff are all amazing - Chris, David and especially Anna who is always smiling and will go above and beyond to make your stay better! Clean + great location. If you want to party, it's easy to find a group to go out with. If you just want to chill, that's always an option too. Only minor complaint is that it can get quite warm at times. But honestly, it's like a home away from home with a family you never knew you had! Great for solo travellers!

Very good for meeting people, great location and very secure. The staff tell you all you need to know about the city so you don't miss any important sites. Was a comfortable and enjoyable experience and would definitely stay again!

A genuinely lovely experience and I only wish I could have stayed longer. Anna and the hostel volunteers (Abi and Spencer) were incredibly warm and welcoming to me and all of the other guests during my stay, always making time to chat, offer great travel tips and show guests the best spots. The hostel is in a brilliant location in the city centre (beside the museum) and is a good base to explore the city in all directions with great restaurants, bars, tourist sights and transport nearby. Next time I am in Budapest, I will definitely be coming back to the Bubble!

Old fashioned, calm, cozy, good music, super nice staff, especially Anna and Akim (sorry if I misspelled it :p). Highly recommended

Genuinely the best hostel I've ever been in. It's cozy, not too large (probably around 20 people at maximum capacity), extremely well located, party-friendly but not party-obssessed, and was filled with interesting characters even during these times. There's a clear highlight: Anna, the person in charge, is the best. I walked in as a guest and walked out some days later with a good friend. In Budapest, for me, there's only this possibility!

Lovely hostel right in the center of the action in Budapest. While it's a tiny hostel, it's packed to the brim with charm. I arrived very late in the evening, but Anna was so happy to give me instructions on how to get in the building. She also gave me a lovely run down on the best bars/restaurants/monuments to see in Budapest. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a nice hostel filled with quality people.
