Great hostel especially when you consider the bargain price paid! A little out of the centre but in a great location next to public transport links which are a great price!! Plenty of toilets and showers and also helpful friendly reception staff. Would stay again and would definitely recommend

Good prices for the location, friendly people. There was a spider web in one of the rooms in the corner and a was a bit cold (for 2 people we were given a 6-person room) however the other 4-person one with separate bathroom was all right. Comfortable beds. There's no dedicated parking lot for guests, but just right the corner there's a guarded parking lot cheaper (250Ft vs 350Ft/h) than the public one. A good place to stay for a night during the longer journey while visiting Budapest.

We stayed for 1 night, had one room for 4 of us, me and my friends, so it was max comfy. The place is clean and nice, fair prices, quiet place to stay (it's a great option in a croudy Budapest). BUT We had a late check-in, so we had to go to another hotel to get the key, cos the reception is not 24h duty. So this is one big " -" , actually, because I can't emagine, how I would move there and back for those keys in a night city, tired after 14h nonstop trip if I had no car...

I booked a room through for me and 3 family children for 1 night, and only after the booking they sent me an email stating that based on the Hungarian Visa regulations I have to provide them a lot of information about each traveller, like name at birth, mother's name, mother's name at birth etc. I called to inquire about this, as we are all EU nationals, and after only half a phrase the receptionist interrupted me and asked me yelling: "if we sent you all the info you must provide, why do you call me??" I mean, I can accept a rule when it is explained to me (in a respectful manner), but I find it hard to believe that you are yelled at by a hotel representative for asking a question.

Plumbing is awful. Showers don't all work properly and the upstairs ones doesn't work at all if people are using the downstairs ones. But other than that is very good other than that. Clean and tidy generally.

Its a Nice place. I had a little trouble getting in though on the first night. There is a code for the front gate, when you check in you are given the code. If like me you had a later flight and you arrive after reception closes however there is no one to buzz you in, and myself and my girlfriend were left waiting in the snow unsure of what to do. Thankfully other guests were arriving back and they let us in. The rooms were nice. Clean and modest. Shared kitchen, bathroom and showers. The following morning when the reception opened the staff were friendly and helpful. The Walls are quite thin, there was a family with a baby in the room next to ours. So hearing a newborn crying all night was not ideal. Thats an unusual occurrence though and will not likely happen to most people but even general conversations in adjacent rooms were well heard. Its a nice and affordable place to come back to after a long day out and go to sleep, but if you plan on spending a lot of time in your room or the hostel its self, you may not find it the most peacful or relaxing.

Quiet, clean place. The shared bathroom is on the floor, but it is clean and without a mirror.

Clean, comfortable. Elevator is absent. Nice stuff. Many kitchen, toilets, and bathrooms. They give a towel, which is also good.

Great value for money. No one on reception as we arrived late but instructions and communication on how to get there and check in were spot on

Hostel itself isn't bad. Crew at reception were kind and helpful. Had some bad experience with guests tho. But I cant judge place for it. Bathrooms smells bad.. there is no toilet upstairs, but its wrotten in description. Place is very cheap. Still can use one of two kitchens located on first floor which had all that you need to prepare decent meals. Rooms wasnt that clean, prepared in rush I think. Anyways location is ok(close to Keleti railway station, like 5 mins by foot), Spar not that far(yay a rhyme). I'd stay at this place again. But toilet on the second floor would be great. Corridors are cold.

Nothing special, but a cozy place for reasonable money.
