It's definitely a basic accomodiation. The cleanliness is for sure an improve point unless you like sticky surfaces and other people DNA on drinking glasses. The staff was nice and helpful, and having a 24h reception is really good.

The view is amazing, specially if in the room with balcony; you can relax there and look at the tram go through the street. It's just perfect. The kitchen is great, it's very well equipped. The WC isn't as great but it's ok, it's clean and working. I had a lovely time there, good memories 🥰

We had the cheapest bedroom (12-15 beds). We had the box with lock for our private stuff. Good hostel in the centre od city.

We stayed for three nights at this hostel : we shared the room with eleven people. I am not talking about the apartments the company also offer to rent. The reception was very nice about us checking in late because of all the bus problems we had on the same day. However, there seems to be a misunderstanding about the reviews we read on this hostel : this place is definitely not clean. The room was smelling of dirty socks, the floor was disgusting, full of hair. The beds are not done correctly : the linen that is supposed to protect the mattress is too short and slippy. It results in people sleeping directly on the mattress and brown, filthy marks. But at least the beds are comfortable. Also, the bathrooms are not clean either. Filth in the corners, a smell of old mop in the showers. In the toilets, brown and yellow marks. Yummy. And we even encountered a used sanitary pad above the shower. It stayed there for the whole day. So overall : nice people, comfy beds, but real dirty. Maybe we were unlucky, but that is my review.

We had an excellent 5 bedroom vrbo. Excellent. Quiet interior despite being in the middle of a busy area next to the train station. Accessible too many coffee shops, restaurants and transportation.

I dont know how they got their reputation. The bathrooms were too small, the shower awful, the mattress was old, the sheets were stained (it looked like blood drops). I've been in better cheaper hostel. I I didn't need any help in order to evaluate that part, but they were very polite. It is a very well located place. I hopefully they will see the potential an will improve a lot

Overall this place is okay. The stuff is friendly but the room inside not so good for the price (19.000 Ft). Bathroom and toilette are separated and they both need some improvement. The location is convenient few steps from all the public transportation system. I arrived at the middle of the night but if you have time you can find way better place for your money.

Cheap hostel close the parlament, train station and most of the attractions. The hosts are very nice; however they charge for keeping your things during the day (obviously if that day you're not staying anymore) and for towels as well, cleaning could be better but it is not bad. It's worth the price

Decent hostel, superb staff. They refused to alter my booking though. The staff knows the city well and will help you out on request. There is a kitchen available. The rooms smell of dirty socks if you are unlucky but it's easy to get used to. The price is OK and the location is banging.

Interflat Hostel & Apartments has 24hr desk to buzz you into the building whenever you arrive Location is by a bus station and the metro so it's very convenient. The rooms are very open and have good ventilation, but not much privacy. Laundry services are available for some money and they take care of everything for you. The lockers are pretty spacious and you can pay to have them hold your luggage after you check out. There's also a kitchen area with a stove/oven and fridge if you want to make your own food. The biggest downside of the hostel are the bathrooms. There are 3 toilets and 4 showers. They are generally pretty filthy and water gets everywhere that you have to mop up yourself. The shower heads don't really stay in one place and water can sometimes be burning hot or freezing cold. One of the toilet seats is also falling off. Although there is WiFi, it's only really effective early in the morning because once everyone connects to it nothing will load. Overall, the hostel has a lot of useful services and good price but falls short on cleaniness.

One of the best hostels in Budapest hands down. It's cheap, clean, has great beds and a common room and is very close to the centre of the city. They also allow you to keep your bags safely with them if you arrive before the stipulated check in time. The best service I have received at any hostel so far. Their employees should be given a prize. Side note: the reception is open 24x7 so go there any time !

Most terrible hostel I've ever been, we've made a bad choice by staying in this one. No problem with the staff, they're very friendly, but the infrastructure of the place is very poor. First of all we couldn't wait in the hostel until it was the check in time, not even in the common room. Secondly, we had to pay in CASH! (THEY DONT ACCEPT CARDS!!!). Thirdly it's weird when you have to pass in other guests room before entering yours., plus the bathrooms were always dirty. Final word: I highly recommend Budapest. The city is freaking beautiful, but stay in a decent hostel.

Although I was fine, multiple beds had bed bugs, including my cousin's who got attacked by bed bugs. After showing her bites and pictures of the actual bugs to the owner, he blamed her for bringing them. This was almost certainly not the case though since she had just left her clean house in the U.S. (which doesn't have bed bugs). The owner was resistant to help and very rude, however the rest of the staff was accommodating and even said they would never sleep in a room with bed bugs. The owner is a business man with no concern for cleanliness or backpackers, so if you value your cleanliness and sanity, don't stay here.
