We had the WORST experience at this hostel! I can’t understand why this place has such high reviews. This place is a construction site... dust and debris everywhere and everything was half done. We thought we would suck it up and stayed one night. After being out on a walking tour the whole day we were tired and sweaty and wanted to relax before going out for dinner. When we came in the whole place smelled like weed! And when we walked into our room a pipe above the bed had fallen down and there was dust all over the bed! After trying to find a staff member to address the issue to for a good 20 minutes we gave up and asked one of the construction workers for help. At this point we were so sick of this place and said we wanted to leave. Both parties agreed to get refunded for 2 of the 3 nights, and we were out 10 minutes later! If this place finishes their renovation and equip the rooms with fans (as the windows don’t open) it could be ok for budget traveling.

I 100% RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we stayed 4 eventually! The owner is the best, and made us feel like home. All i have to say is that he is super! The hostel is really cool, chill, clean, well located and all you can wish for :) If I come back to Budapest I'll definitely go for Krudy 12!

The humidity is unbelievable , you can barely breath, and the room wasn't clean either, but it's price and positioning are very alluring.

No ventillation. Smoking is allowed in lobby so smoke goes to all shared rooms. Male toilet is not cleaned from urine and is smelly. No soap in toilet. Trash bin is full. Staff is helpful but doesn't know bus fare price to the airport

Great location, really nice rooms, very chilled host, all facilities are fully equipped (kitchen, shower, bathroom, iron, dishes, kettle, etc), a place you want to come back to:)

A really cosy place with a touch of vintage. In mid June 2017, some reconstruction work was going on.

I had to evacuate in the middle of the night. Everyone can come in. Full of bedbugs (had 100 bites after we hours!!), ended in hospital. Should be closed.

I ended in hospital after spending ONE NIGHT here. 200!!!! Bites from bedbugs.
