👍👍 Small but cute coffee/bakery! I had the tomato, cheese, ham croissant and the bbq hot dog croissant. Both croissants were heavenly. Their batch brew is pretty amazing too. It was super flavorful! This is a perfect place to swing by, grab a small bite and start your day off on the right foot! A cute little spot with incredible pastries. How come no-one makes croissants with nutella and banana? It was heaven. The savory pastries were delicious, I especially liked the pesto one. They offer so many good sweet and savory flavors. They have vegan milk for coffee. Flat white was really good. The outdoor chairs were quite uncomfortable.

If you are in Budapest, you MUST come here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Recommended by our Airbnb host and we came here five days in a row. Small but incredible bakery. Both salty and sweet were amazing. Personally recommendation: Salty - red pesto is the best. Sweet - cinnamon bun is heaven. Go earlier in case sold out. I wanted to try daily soup but failed everyday………………. Definitely the highlight of our Budapest 😂

Really awesome place with a great selection of coffees and pastries. Staff is friendly and helpful, answering all questions, speak great English and ...even the music was lovely! (I understand some people don't love '70s & '80s soul and pop music... but I felt it went great with the atmosphere.) Ate twice this morning because the food was so great, spent about 5000 huf on 5 pieces of pastry, a cookie and two coffees - for the quality I think that's completely reasonable. Will be back!

Really great design. The selection of pastries was fantastic. The service was not great. We had a kakaós csiga (chocolate snail) which was exceptional, after trying a few in other shops we can say this was the best we tried in Budapest. We also had a savoury pastry which was crispy and flavourful. The flat white was fantastic! Probably our favourite coffee spot in Budapest!

We had a Chai Latte and Matcha Latte which were super delicious. They use the David Rio powder for the chai latte, which tastes way better than most syrups. Also the ham goat cheese sandwich was very nice and so were the chocolate croissants. They are not as fluffy, but very rich in flavor. Super nice spot for a quick breakfast!

Tasty flat white, thin American which they have kindly fixed free of charge, good chocolate roll, ok croissant which was too cold by the time we had the chance. I can imagine it's good if served fresh. Coffee beans were a perfect fit for milk drinks, however, way too acidic for black coffee cups. Customers are not allowed in the restroom btw! Pay, eat and leave asap model.

Coffee is absolutely great. The Pistachio croissant cream is a bit too sweet, but the dough texture is the best I've tried in Budapest

Visited one of my old favorites in Budapest; this one never disappoints. Huge plus that you can try/buy James Hoffmann’s Square Mile Coffee 😉

Kind of over hyped imo — it is very good but you do pay for it so its not an incredible value. It is possibly one of the best bakeries but at the price you kind of expect it.

Everything we tried was exceptional and they have the best butter croissant we've ever tasted! Their pumpkin spice latte was also amazing! I wish we had discovered this place earlier so that we could have our breakfast there every day during our stay. 🥐

Pretty good cappucino, savory pastry (croissant dough pesto wrap) could use some more filling. Nice service, smiles, and good vibes altogether!

Kakaós csiga - this one ! Tested most of best of the Budapest kakaos chigas bakery list, and was already getting slightly disappointed with praised Hungarian treat - ones I tried were a little flakey, some dryish, or not a generous filling - and Butter Brothers was somewhat out of the city centre - so came to test here last, though it was on the top of the recommended. Didn't disappoint at all, and I was more then pleased with this one -- super generous filling in tasty fresh dough. Simple- but perfect. I say - the best kakaós csiga of Budapest! And - new addiction for me :-)

This place has good coffee but the matcha latte is terrible and not worth the price. The filo pastries are served cold, which was pretty disappointing for us who were trying to find something warm on a cold day. The price is acceptable, but due to too many people coming in and out, you won’t be paying for the best service or ambience.

An absolute steal for the price and quality! Very buttery and tasty pastries, our favorite was the Red Pesto, highly recommend trying as many as your tummy can accommodate. I already miss living right next to this bakery, they know their craft very well.

I love coming here to check the soup of the day, especially that the weather is getting colder, this was pumpkin soup with creme fraiche and it was delicious😋😋 the pastry is great too I had the red pesto pastry.

The pie was vegetarian but was cold and I don’t know if I liked it. The sweet on the other hand was so good!

Best place for breakfast or a quick snack. Very good food for fair prices and the staff is very friendly. Coffee is very good as well, make sure to enjoy the pistachio croissant with it.

Good Coffee shop with lovely pastry and friendly service I particularly like the chocolate snail pastry - very fine, crisp layers with bitter-sweet, sticky dark chocolate.

Delicious, buttery goodness. Excellent coffee. Definitely worth the stop. Service is fine (one worker was awesome the other was ...here). We got the cinnamon roll and chocolate snail, a flat white and latte. Highly recommend!

Cinnamon roll and chocolate roll were way too sweet for my liking. The bottom of both rolls were covered in caramelised sugar so every bite felt sticky to my teeth, which I really didn’t like! Croissant was better than basic. Coffee was great nonetheless

5/5 pastries, 5/5 coffee, 5/5 staff, 4/5 location. Good cup of coffee, amazing pastries and good service. About 900huf per pastry (a little expensive but definitely worth it) and the usual price for coffee in the city. I got a pistachio and chocolate pastry. The layers were thin, crisp and flakey witha distinct butter flavour. The filling was an interesting blend but definitely worked together. Especially after baking the exposed parts developed a caramalised flavour. Best pastry I've had in Budapest and one of the best in Hungary. The only thing is the cafe is quite small and if you wait to take your coffee to go it is a bit tight.

The croissant and cinnamon rolls so good! Ice coffee average. Price average. A bit small that shop

Cute little location with great chai - ordered the tortoise green tea and had the best oatmeal cookie I’ve ever had so far. The chai was on the sweet side and got a bit too much towards the end but loved it overall. Cookie had chocolate and cranberry chunks, no nuts! It was also crispier and flat so if you’re looking for chewy, it’s not here. Most pastries were sold out when I went around 4pm. Would go back to try other options. Service was alright - they left a lot of tables uncleared with dirty dishes and food crumbs. Loved the big window view and the cute vibe. No Wi-Fi though. Dined in, total was 1900 HUF so pretty decent pricing.

Probably the best walnut rolls in Budapest. I loved that they also serve oatmilk for the hot drinks.

Good but not great bakery. In the evening the pastries were not fresh at all.

The staff is really amazing and the coffee is really good. Most of the pastries are puff pastries and they taste good.

Unfortunately my 5* review won't be in their wall, but anyway... Very delicious rolls in a cosy bakery :)

Both the csiga and the tai latte are amazing. One of my favorite breakfast places in Budapest

  • 3/5 Ádám B. 2 years ago on Google
They don't have anything but pastry. Which is well to be expected in a bakery, but let's say a sandwich would be nice.

Good coffee and food...nothing vegan unfortunatelly and a little higher average price but a nice hang out in breaks or before university so I highly recommend to go there

My favorite coffee and bakery in Budapest. I've brought several out-of-town guests here, and all of them were begging me to go back a second time. My favorite item to order: power chai (contains Matcha), with an extra shot and oat-milk! Never disappoints. My only wish would be to expand, maybe another location or expanding your current building to have more seating space! Love it, great service as well. :)

Coffee is good and they have wide choice of freshly baked pastry. The place itself is a bit tight but usually you can find a seat :) Staff is friendly and skilled.

Great place! I had the misfortune to arrive after work around closing hours so sadly the pastry wasn't all that fresh. I'm definitely returning at an earlier hour because it was still among the best I've eaten. The staff is super helpful, friendly and cool. I really like the atmosphere. The inside is a bit crowded and sadly there's no option to pay by card. Would recommend!

An excellent shop - very good coffee (Tamp & Pull might edge the coffee) but the bakery and food here is totally fantastic. Amazing pastries and really wonderful service. Will return often!

Amazing breakfast that we had in June this year in this cozy place on a quiet street. Pistachio croissant is amazing and chocolate swirl bun is also very tasty. Staff is also kind.

Delicious food, however terrible service. Barista was clearly judging who we were, there was no friendly atmosphere and we were given the wrong coffee order as well. Not inviting at all, however, the chocolate and hazelnut roll were nice :). Would not recommend, you can get these rolls somewhere else with better service.
