We
had
tickets
on
the
center,
at
the
balcony.
From
our
spots,
the
upper
text
row
was
unreadable.
The
hall
is
absolutely
gorgeous,
in
fact
the
whole
building
is
beautiful.
The
show
(Countess
Maritza)
had
some
flaws,
regarding
mainly
the
direction
(some
weird
ideas
-
some
good
and
bad
angels
leading
the
characters
in
and
out
of
troubles,
performing
some
strange
movements),
but
the
orchestra
was
very
good,
the
soloists
were
ok,
the
choir
also.
All
the
people
on
the
stage
are
wearing
microphones,
and
the
show
is
sonorized,
occasionally
above
what
I
think
to
be
the
optimal
level
(they
think,
maybe,
that
a
part
of
the
audience
has
hearing
problems…).
The
acting
was
quite
ok,
but
towards
the
end
got
a
little
too
thick
and
too
gross,
quite
exagerated
(Peniczek,
for
example).
The
set
was
beautiful
and
cleverly
used,
a
rotative
platform
that
showed
us
four
different
angles
of
the
same
building
(terrase,
balcony,
entrance
door
etc.).
I
would
have
really
enjoyed
better
the
show
if
the
direction
had
been
less
„inovative”.
I
hoped
that
this
famous
operetta
ensemble
would
stick
more
to
the
tradition
and
to
good
taste.
But
I
really
want
to
come
again
to
this
theatre
and,
hopefully,
to
see
something
better.
