My kids absolutely loved this place. We could have stayed longer than the 2 hours spent, but for the fact that we only had one day in Budapest and wanted to see as much as we could. So there are minis of 3 countries: Hungary, Austria and Germany....and about 18 cities. Place is quite massive ...in a mini way😊. I would go again. Great for both kids and adults

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the details are great. The interactive buttons are absolutely fun! The museum wasn't overcrowded too. With Budapest city card, we got a 30% off the tickets. Highly recommended.

An amazing place to spend a time. I lost a time sense and felt like a little happy kid. A must-see museum to visit in Budapest. Very detailed and with various interaction buttons. I got 30% off with my Budapest City card. Highly recommended.

This place is stunningly amazing! I cannot recommend it highly enough whether you care about model trains or not. There is so much detail and humour in this installation that you can easily spend an hour here and not notice.

Beautifully crafted museum that houses small replicas of different cities across Europe. Small screens provide descriptions of the towns in English, German, and Hungarian and there are also interactive buttons to press to move vehicles, people, and objects in the displays in a very interactive way. Highly recommend coming to see the beautiful exhibits

If you have preteen children, it will be a 4+ star visit for them. This interactive, miniature train/location museum is a good visit even without children. The varied set locations and attention to detail are impressive. There is also a small restaurant and a children's play area inside. The staff spoke some English and both polite and helpful. Note: they accept credit cards and also give a discount if you have the Budapest Card. (On a side note, we visited Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg two years ago. It is so much bigger that it probably overshadows my review for Miniversum. But this visit is still worth the 1 - 1 1/2 hours you can spend here.)

Lovely museum with a number of miniatures - copies of Hungary (Budapest, Gyor etc), Austria (Vienna, Burgenland etc) and some German sites. Moving trains, cars, birds, people, sounds and many more. Great for children and adults. May be quite busy on weekends so early hours could be recommended. Reserve at least one hour.

Great experience for both children and adults. The details on the panoramas are really impressive and the ability to control some of the actions is very engaging. Look carefully and you might discover some fun sci-fi references.

Truly unique place. Large and impressive model of hungarian - Austrian - German landmarks, all connected with endless railway, where trains are moving. I got though quickly used to that after 0,5 hour and changed my attention to an interesting exhibition about hungarian history during communist time, which consist of 10 boards hanging on walls along the models. That was very educational!!

Very impressive! A must visit when in Budapest! It's really amazing how much work has been done to get that inside results. Adults, but especially children will love it!

Very fun miniature landscapes. Some hidden jokes. Can press buttons to move stuff or get lights/sound effects. Every now and then the lights go out so you can see it by "night time". Also great for kids. Also possible to go to the toilet or get something to drink.

I really enjoyed it, it was fun to walk around and interact with. The detail is insane! The informative posters at various points around the exhibit were informative and relevant. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the buttons were quite worn out, and a little temperamental.

This place us amazing, definitely a highlight of my trip and I will be bringing others when I come back to Budapest. The amount of work that has gone into the layouts is staggering and it is interesting for kids and adults alike. Slightly expensive tickets for adults at 2400 Foring so remember to bring student cards for kids over 15 if they have them. Also do not expect too much communism as those exhibits are quite small and are not the main attraction here.
