Great potential for the place and the concept, interesting and important story about Swiss diplomat Carl Lutz and amazing story of saving Jews during holocaust behind the walls of this abandoned building. Small memorial room reminds the heroic story behind the glass house, as a symbol of fragile and on the same way very strong power of humanity. Best wishes for initiators, l wish you the growth and evolvment.

A fascinating place, through which thousands of Hungarian Jews were saved. There is an elderly Jewish volunteer at the place, a charming man, it is worth coming to the place and even purchasing a book about the activity. Instead, I found in the book the picture of my mother's uncle, who was murdered for helping the certificate forgery factory there. Arya Funk, the name will be his blood

Big little place. At the entrance stands an elderly woman who greets us wordlessly with a slight smile. Beside her are explanatory books in several languages. can be purchased. Enter one full room. A special memorial room. Its walls are strewn with photos, reports, documents and names that quietly but powerfully tell the story of this place that was an island of relative refuge for the persecuted who found refuge there. Many people lived here for weeks and months in terrible overcrowding. Every corner and every area was very creatively used as makeshift living quarters. All this under the auspices of Carl Lutz, the Swiss diplomat. For those who are not familiar with the subject, it is advisable to read a little about the place either before you arrive or in the explanatory book that is at the place, that way you can better understand the display. It is highly recommended to come here

Highly recommended for those who have a personal touch on the subject. The museum itself is a representative room with a recorded explanation in many languages โ€‹โ€‹(including Hebrew), the Hebrew is not so clear. It should be noted that the entrance to the house is not so clear, there is no sign at the gate, there is only an intercom button that says "Memorial". You have to press the intercom and explain that you have come to see the glass house. (A guide came out to meet us, but I don't know if it is always like this)

Super nice staff. Visit available in multiple languages. Great unexploited potential ! The history is there, the full infrastructure too. Where are the investments ??? Peaple need to remember how great men saved thousands of lives here ! Would have apreciated a tour and retrospective scenes of what happened here, how jews survived here, ... rather than reading pages and seeing a few pictures.

(Translated by Google) In the days of the horror of the Jews of Budapest, when the gangs of murderers of the Arrow Cross Party circled the city and slaughtered tens of thousands of Jews with strange deaths, thousands of the Jews of the city hid there under the diplomatic patronage of the city.
