Interesting historic building. The exhibition itself however doesn’t have too much and this place can be finished within 10 minutes.

A fascinating building, both inside and out, with changing photography exhibitions. Well worth a visit both for the architectural features and the exhibits.

Good place to go and spend an hour or so to see their collection. It is a historical building.

Beautiful historic antique house with art-nouveau decor, wooden staircase, trompe-l’oeil murals and stained-glass windows. Hosts small photography exhibitions in an atmospheric environment. At time of visit, the featured artist was Hungarian-Parisian photographer Ergy Landau.

Wonderful architecture of the building. Perfect exhibition of  RUTH ORKIN. She was a really exciting Street photography photographer and photojournalist of the good old times. Extrem fair price - 2000 Forint.

Overrated, left very much underwhelmed. It’s an extremely small exhibition space, so it can be done in 10mins, not worth the entrance fee of 2000Ft. (Wonder why a piece in Marble and Steel in eyes nose and mouth shape is being placed in a photography gallery). The building itself (as per other reviews) isn’t that special, just another run-down building in Budapest, I’ve seen better ones way more beautiful, with or without maintenance. The receptionists were not very welcoming. Save that money for House of Horror (the installation art was quite impressive) or Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest.

The building is work of art itself from outside and the inside. I was able to see the exhibition of works of Ergy Landau. It was very interesting and inspiring. I think not only photography lovers would love this place but those who are into art in general. There is also a giftshop where you can find some quality souvenirs. Personnel are very polite and pleasant people.

Of the beaten path of most tourists. High msrks for interesting expositions, beautifully laid with English text. Low marks for very low accessibility and unfriendly service.

The exposition is very small but there were some interesting photos dated beginning of the 20th century. The book shop on the first floor will not leave indifferent people interested in photography.

Very small place and not much here. It came with the Budapest Pass and there is lots to do around this area, but there really wasn't much here. Other members of our group really liked it, but I personally had a hard time enjoying this space.

Very interesting exhibitions in general. It is located in a pleasant street with lots of things in reach. The opening times could be longer though.

Definitely recommend to go there, it is a beautiful building with always interesting exhibitions. We were there in February 2019 for a "Back to the Future" exhibition, which was also a title of a Foam magazine's #49 issue. They also sell this magazine in the house's bookstore on the 1st floor (as the only official seller in Hungary). The Daylight Studio was crowded with chairs and LED TV, so we did not get the full experience of the room but we enjoyed it nevertheless.

Amazing building, nice exhibition, most notable to me were the colorful windows upstairs...

Current exhibition on WeeGee was really well curated. Be sure to stop at the ticket counter to flip through the WeeGee books where you get a feel of more of his magic! 2nd floor studio is like a dream space for me. Was here when it was dark, must be more amazing in daylight!

Historical photos in the foyer are fascinating. The photos on exhibition were not as interesting to me but they were good. Staff was nice. Entrance was free. The building is art deco and gorgeous.

Lovely place, superb exhibit with excellent info. I really appreciate smaller exhibitions. Free with Budapest card. See other lovely buildings around a angassey.

A beautiful museum with the artwork of several talented Hungarian photographs. The building is also very nice, I loved it !
